In the hotel in 2022, check-in and check-out are self-service, the room is small but very new, the pad controls the room equipment, the location is in the city center, and the price is basically satisfactory.

The hotel is located in the city centre, walking distance to most attractions 👍🏻👍🏻 Staffs are nice and helpful. Overall it’s very good for the value, recommended!

We had a great stay at this establishment. Everyone there is friendly, professional and genuinely seems happy with their jobs. Usually, this indicates good management, so keep up the good work! I was very impressed with the front desk agent Fernando. Before our arrival, I had to call in about our reservations. Fernando took the call, and before I could even explain my situation, he had already reverse searched my phone number into his reservation system, and knew who I was in less than 10 he fixed the problem!!

This is a catfish hotel! There are absolutely no amenities! No pool, no bar, no microwave. There was a refrigerator. TV cable does not work. WI-FI does not work! It kept saying their internet was not on a secure internet and that the license expired. The layout of this hotel is weird. They have more seating for their employees than they do for their guests in the small lobby! Very tacky! There is a total of four lounge chairs to sit very closely in front of staff. The worst lounge seating I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I was also nervous about staying here because of all the commentary on the previous incidents. I should have read thoroughly the reviews. There is security here however. The staff is pleasant but I don’t think they do anything other be pleasant. There is nothing that has become useful for me. I’ve read reviews about the not comping rooms due to a change in the room. This place sucks! I will NEVER stay here AGAIN! The only plus was that it was quiet on my floor but that could’ve been because this place is practically empty. Also it’s very close to the shops on the magnificent mile and other places that are popular. Still not worth staying in. This hotel has motel standards. That’s what I feel like I stayed in. I don’t understand why the rating is so high unless the staff is coming in here writing fake reviews. Please make sure you read reviews before booking the hotel or any hotel. Lesson learned for me.

I visited the Warwick Allerton with a group of friends over a three night stay. The hotel is older, in the midst of a remodel. Our room was fine, appeared to be remodeled. It was clean, comfortable bed and furniture. Housekeeping had to be scheduled and we ran out of toilet paper before the scheduled service. Additionally our wifi was continually disconnecting. Alicia from the front desk offered to come up to our room, reset our wifi and delivered 2 rolls of toilet paper. She arrived within minutes of me talking to her. She was friendly and very helpful. The hotel charges a $15.00 daily service fee. The restaurant was closed for remodeling and there was no food on the premises. There may have been a gym, which we did not use. I fail to see the benefits of the facility fee and would rather just have the room charge be higher if the hotel needs to make a higher profit on the rooms. The hotel is in a good location for shopping and restaurants. The valet service was also efficient.

Beautiful and clean hotel with helpful staff. Bar in the lobby was perfect for a night cap.

The Chicago Hotel Collection Magnificent Mile The cleaning rules and service is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life. You have to request room service I requested room service a day before as the policy says and they still don’t clean the room towels were not switched out the garbage was not disposed of. I complained for a second time at the front desk with the two young ladies and now she wants to argue with me. Then the argument turned into negotiations on what gets cleaned and what does not. She says “we can replace the towels and remove the trash but we can’t make up the bed” (SMDH) I can’t make this Chit up I think it’s horrible that I have to negotiate with the front desk about getting my room cleaned, hotels are supposed to clean the room regardless whether you ask for them or not that’s common courtesy but this place does not. It became a negotiation tactic this should not even be a conversation as hotels are supposed to clean your room daily. The Wifi is shotty at best. Logging on to Wi-Fi seems to be a very difficult challenge as once you connect to the Wi-Fi in your settings then you have to go to your web browser and log in a code and that doesn’t happen. Finally, after about 10 attempts the web login page pulled up. Their Wi-Fi system does not allow your connected device to stay on you have to re-login every time you shut down your device therefore you have the same problem all over again also I found it harder to connect at late night hours as opposed to the morning and I’m not sure if they’re cutting off the Wi-Fi the other problem that I had was it would connect to one device and not the other. I can’t recommend this place at all if you’re looking for good service the hotel room is nice but that’s where it ends. This hotel lacks good service or good customer service at the front desk, they just keep repeating “sir it's policy” to do this, certain policy to do that and if that’s their policy with Customer service and how they handle a problem or three customers it’s not a hotel I suggest anyone going to, especially for the high dollar amount per night I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The location is excellent . It is about a two minute walk from the north end of Michigan Avenue very close to the Hancock building/Water Tower. Staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment we came through the door. They assisted with parking as well as giving an extensive list of where to eat in the neighborhood. They also provided personal recommendations when we asked. Thanks Mark, Felicia and Alicia for your great service and charming personalities; you made the stay feel even more special. It is an older hotel that is not likely to appeal to those who want one with all the bells and whistles and an expansive fancy lobby associated with a modern, high-end hotel. Those aspects may be nice but they also come at a substantial price and do not guarantee great service. This hotel is an excellent value for the money. Our rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. The views from the room were lovely so that was an extra bonus. There are refrigerators in the room and plug-in slots for electronic devices along the edge of the desk. Other reviewer‘s have not noticed these items and have complained that they did not exist. There was nothing that we needed that was not there. While we did not request any, I heard from another guest in the elevator that staff was very responsive on bringing them ice when they needed it. Hotel staff also take Covid safety seriously. This was a great stay in a beautiful city. I would not hesitate to return to the Whitehall.

Close to the center. Clean. The only problem was the hot water. You need to wait a lot of time to have it, but then it's very hot.
