"Nice and considerate staff, kudos to the lady at the front desk who is named Nives. The service is always available, the location is conveniently located. Despite the fact that i had some misgivings regarding the smell of the room (it is okay, but heavily scented somewhat with cleaning products; a pleasant smell of course i can live with but prefer to not have smelled at all), the view here is amazing. Would recommend again for someone who is trying to stay at lake como, a value choice."

"Ok it’s location is excellent as is it’s history , but its very very tired. My first visit to Como and a travel agent booked the accommodation. It’s not somewhere I would have stayed if I was booking a hotel but it served a purpose for 3 nights on a holiday where the accommodation wasn’t as important to the overall trip. It’s a perfectly serviceable hotel for what you may want to do in Como and the region ."

Self check in was possible (though I was offline, so opted for standard check in). Great staff. The studio was spacious, clean, with all the amenities I needed. Bed and pillows were very compfy. Wifi was available for free. Self check out was simple."

"We stayed the weekend of July 19th to 20th, 2025. Based on the photos on the website, they DO NOT CORRESPOND TO REALITY AT ALL!!!!!!!!!! The room was dirty and awful, with cobwebs and spiders, the shower had CHROMOTHERAPY, and MUSIC DID NOT WORK. Breakfast was in the middle of the bar, due to a LARGE GROUP OF TOURISTS. AND LAST MUST OF ALL, the UNFORTUNATENESS of the ELEVATOR breaking (which in a hotel is UNACCEPTABLE NOT to have repaired immediately). I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING. In the morning, we reported the inconvenience to the lady at reception, but she was NOT much help. In fact, she downplayed everything by saying she was just an employee, so I pointed out that she could have reported everything to her SUPERVISORS to improve the service!!!!!!!!!!"

"We stayed 3 nights as part of a holiday to the Lakes. This hotel is very dated, with heavy old fashioned furniture and a very uninteresting dining room. The breakfast probably the worst we have ever eaten. Poor selection, scrambled eggs had an unusual soapy taste & an unappealing appearance. The coffee was also unpleasant . And waiters not especially helpful However, the staff otherwise could not have been more helpful, especially the reception staff , and the waiters in the outdoor bar area. Our room had a very good bathroom, and the bed was comfortable."

"I stayed two nights at this hotel with my boyfriend; in my opinion, it's not a 4-star hotel; I would have expected much better from a 4-star hotel. The property could use some updating; the room wasn't very large, but it was clean enough, and the bathroom was renovated. The room lacked both a safe and a mini-fridge (which I'd certainly expect from a 4-star hotel!). Furthermore, on the desk, along with the air freshener, there were two small bottles of water, which seemed like a courtesy from the hotel, but upon checkout we were charged for them (as if they were a mini-bar). There was no flexibility regarding check-in time (which is fair, but at least try to ask if the room was ready). The breakfast was quite good, but instead of single portions, there were "common" foods/jars, which in my opinion wasn't very hygienic, especially for the hotel I'm expecting to stay in. As for the restaurant, the food was just adequate, but not for the price! We were also told they offered a fixed menu at a set price, but as soon as we sat down, the waiter informed us that "there was no fixed menu available that evening," forcing us to choose à la carte. Overall, it's fine for a short stay, but if you're thinking of a longer stay, I wouldn't recommend it; it's not worth the price paid or the stars it has."
