The overall environment is good, with a relaxed feeling of vacation.
But the room is really hot, the sun room effect and the air conditioner is turned on, the air is not cold air, and I was woken up by the heat several times at night. When I checked out, the front desk staff asked about the housing experience, and the answer was ”Datong city uniformly sends warm air”.
The sound insulation of the washbasin in the room is not good, and the sound of washing water running next door can be heard very clearly, which may be due to this room type.
The mattress is also a bit soft, which is not very friendly to patients with lumbar pain.
Meals: I thought I had breakfast in this building, but in fact, I had to go to Quanji next door.
The accommodation experience is quite fresh, but I feel that the hotel as a whole is still not mature enough, and many hardware facilities still need to be improved, which cannot be compensated by a ”small degree”. You might want to think twice before ”repurchasing”.

Wenda and all of her colleagues were wonderful! English is spoken here. Fantastic service, friendly, helpful, very clean and spacious rooms, really nice view over the river and at night with all of the lights. Breakfast is good, the facilities are clean and presentable. The room was quiet and the window can be opened if you want fresh air or to cool down the room a bit, the ac works too to cool it down in winter but that’s recirculated air with some people smoking in non-smoking rooms (typical). Our room did not smell which was great and although we had neighbours we could not hear them, so good for light sleepers. Only downside is the bed is firm. Quick 10 minute didi to the ancient city, malls, delicious lunch and food places. The hotel organised a driver to take us to the hanging temple, yungang grottoes and then to a delicious local restaurant very affordable, helpful, reliable and kind driver (WeChat: 永恒). Also recommend going to the art gallery and museum only 10 mins away. It’s a good location.

This hotel is really really beautiful - maybe even more than the photos show. Even though the style is traditional, everything inside the room is new, and there's even an elevator to take up bags. The location is amazing too, inside the old city wall, and I walked everywhere except the out of town attractions I visited. I think anywhere you stay in Datong you might have some communication challenges if you don't speak Chinese, but the owner here was very helpful once I put wechat on my phone to be able to talk with translation help, and he was able to arrange a last minute taxi out to the hanging temple after I had given up trying to get one. However, even though he was very helpful, he wasn't always around, and checking in was a bit difficult because there was nobody at the desk. I think this is only a problem if you don't speak Chinese though.
Unfortunately, the wifi didn't always reach to my room on the 3rd floor well, and I could only get a trickle of hot water out of the shower. Overall though, I was super happy with this place and would recommend it!

Great location, just right around the corner of the old city. The room is clean. Both girls at the reception are very nice and helpful especially when you are not speaking the language. They helped organise the taxi for me to go visit places. Amazing place to stay with these amazing people. I sure will return some day.

Hotel was nice and overall clean but description shows that hotel have non smoking rooms but our first room smells like ashdrray. Hotel was fully booked exept suites (i eas not agreed to pay more) and they promised to overclean our room. But sadly smoke smell didn’t disappeared. Smell was still in the shower room and it was discusting. Next night we got new room and everything was fine. Location is great. Breakfast was modest but ok. You can park your car in to underground parking place and it was without extra cost.

This was a great place to stay for our 3 nights in Datong. It's like condo rooms in a high rise. We had a huge room, all very clean and new. There was a view towards the light show at Datong city walls. The host was very friendly, she taught me how to get the bus to the Yungang Grottoes. Cross the main road outside and take bus no.17 to the end of the line at a station. From there bus no 3 will take you to the entrance of Yungang Grottoes, it is easy and super cheap. There was no English spoken here, but the translation app covers that problem. Great value for money, we highly recommend this place.

The hotel has complete facilities and relatively new decoration. The rooms are spacious and bright, clean and tidy. The girl at the front desk and the security guard are very friendly and helpful. They even upgraded our room for free. The overall check-in experience for a family of six is very good. The breakfast is rich in varieties, especially Datong's special sliced noodles and haggis taste great! It's a pity that this trip to Datong is only for one night. If I stay for one more day, I will continue to stay! Will choose this hotel again in the future!

HHong PeirWe had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staffs were very attentive and willing to go above and beyond to meet our requests. The breakfast was served in the basement and food served was predominantly local Datong food. There is a chinese tea making facilities in the basement which is available for all guests to use.
The hotel is situated in old Datong town (strictly no car zone). Taxi will drop off hotel guests in the main road which is roughly 1-2min easy walk to the hotel. All major attractions in Datong old town are within walking distance from the hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are very new, very clean and smart, which can be regarded as the representative of the current new generation of hotels. The hotel is not far from Datong South Station, near Fangte, is a separate building, whether it is from the atmospheric appearance, the exquisite lobby, the security guard who helps pick up and drop off the luggage and the beautiful young lady at the front desk, the internal air atmosphere, the decoration of the room and smart equipment, bathroom baths and supplies, The soft and comfortable bedding makes people feel like spring breeze. You can see Fangte's fireworks show and drone show at night from the window of the room. There are plenty of parking spaces, and the reality is better than the photos and texts introduced by the hotel. It is a great experience!

HHeiheirenFirst of all, when I checked in, the front desk lady found a room for me while reciting the notes I had put in the order. It was a very good first impression! The bedding in the room was very comfortable and the bathroom layout was reasonable. The shower was big and comfortable. Fruits and crispy shark were given as a gift when turning down the bed at night. The location of the hotel is quite good. It is very close to Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, Nine Dragon Wall and other attractions. It is also a very good experience to walk through the ancient city. Moreover, the hotel restaurant tastes good and the service is good. I stayed for three days and had dinner in the hotel every day. I didn't need to go to the Internet celebrity restaurant next to it. Figure 1 2 3 is the window view of the room, where you can see Chunyang Palace. Figure 4 5 is the restaurant dishes. You must try the cold day lily. Figure 6 is the oil cake that was given just in time for the hotel's 20th anniversary celebration. In short, it was a very good stay experience. I will come again next time.

JJamesHarrisI actually stayed here for three nights, in two different rooms. Both the rooms were very spacious and light, which I appreciated. The room wasn’t spotlessly clean but definitely satisfactory for the price paid. The biggest problem for me was with the bathroom. In the first bathroom, the smell of smoke seemed to be coming through the vent from another room, and in both bathrooms the shower would benefit from hotter water and better water pressure. Despite this, the manager and the sister who worked on the reception were both very friendly and helpful. The manager let me use her phone number for my food delivery(so she could speak to and direct the driver) and even drove me to the hospital to take a COVID test on my last night. They couldn’t have done more to help me and I really appreciated it. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Datong.

Environment: A hotel hidden in a residential area is very cost-effective, let’s not talk about the environment. If you want a high-end environment, then go for a 5-star hotel or above, but it may not be more comfortable (in my opinion).
The hotel is suitable for people who personally think that the best choice for general business travelers and couples is super cost-effective! Or those who travel in groups, those with limited travel expenses, and ordinary people!

SShileiThe geographical location is superior, located in the center of Datong City and easily accessible in all directions. The room service is exquisite and worthy of a five-star rating. The guest room supplies are complete, including lens wipes, razors, etc., which are of high quality and not cheap goods that cost a few cents a pack. Room service is on call. The room is clean and tidy, and the service is good.

GGeorgeI enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There is quite a bit to see around Lingqiu, and I should have stayed one extra night or two. Miss Liu (刘小姐), the front receptionist, was extremely helpful, even going all the way to accompany me to the bus stop to catch the bus heading to the Pingxingguan Battle site. Miss Liu also assisted with booking a cab for my visit to the Jueshan Pagoda. This famous Pagoda was founded before England was established by William the Conqueror (if I am wrong, then pardon me, but the Pagoda was built sometime before 1077 A.D. during the Northern Wei Dynasty). Miss Liu also directed me to the gravesite of King Wu of the Northern Wei Dynasty which is right in downtown Lingqiu.
There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. One restaurant, next door to the right of the hotel, serves a wondering braised fish; the other a few doors away, sells delicious meat pies.
My room was professionally cleaned and serviced daily.
The hotel even allows me to doze off on the reception floor sofa to await my night train to Beijing.
I will return to this hotel if I return to Lingqiu.

GGuest User總體感受一般，沒有停車場，停車不方便，路邊車停的滿滿的，衹能往遠停了，取車很不方便。我訂的房間是樓道內的小窗戶，通風性不好，房間裏比較潮，房間內的設備有的不好用，純凈水想多要一瓶，也沒有給，買又沒有。優點就是價格實惠，房間相對比較大一些，周邊交通也方便，位置很好找。希望商家進一步改進。
