Datong Hotels with Gym

Exceptional. The staff is just excellent. The room was just great. Unfortunately, we got a room that has no view of the old city but anyway. Very positive memory about staying in that hotel, could easily recommend it to anyone.

The location is very good (close to the ancient city, about 10 minutes by taxi), next to the city hall in Pingcheng District, very quiet. The room is clean and tidy, and the service is good. Suggestion: The breakfast can be richer, including Western food (richer bread types), Datong flavor (including fresh yellow flowers, millet cold cakes), etc. (from Ctrip Diamond VIP)

The geographical location is superior, located in the center of Datong City and easily accessible in all directions. The room service is exquisite and worthy of a five-star rating. The guest room supplies are complete, including lens wipes, razors, etc., which are of high quality and not cheap goods that cost a few cents a pack. Room service is on call. All in all a good experience.

I loved this hotel. It has an old-fashioned charm that made me feel right at home. My room was very large, comfortable, and well-equipped. All of the staff and service people were extremely courteous from start to finish. The Chinese restaurant on the 7th floor has a great choice of dishes! Highly recommended, and excellent value for money. A great base for exploring the sights around Datong.

The hotel's hardware facilities are old, the elevator is super slow, the TV still often cannot be connected after changing to another room, the bathroom door is not closed tightly, and the entire floor is wet when taking a shower. The only good thing is the service attitude. The aunt who cleans the room also helped wash the child's socks once.

It's a nice hotel, but why is it like this? The bathroom floor drain reeks of odor, the equipment is outdated, and it doesn't keep up with the times. It will become obsolete! Please improve it a little, it's such a shame

First of all, when I checked in, the front desk lady found a room for me while reciting the notes I had put in the order. It was a very good first impression! The bedding in the room was very comfortable and the bathroom layout was reasonable. The shower was big and comfortable. Fruits and crispy shark were given as a gift when turning down the bed at night. The location of the hotel is quite good. It is very close to Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, Nine Dragon Wall and other attractions. It is also a very good experience to walk through the ancient city. Moreover, the hotel restaurant tastes good and the service is good. I stayed for three days and had dinner in the hotel every day. I didn't need to go to the Internet celebrity restaurant next to it. Figure 1 2 3 is the window view of the room, where you can see Chunyang Palace. Figure 4 5 is the restaurant dishes. You must try the cold day lily. Figure 6 is the oil cake that was given just in time for the hotel's 20th anniversary celebration. In short, it was a very good stay experience. I will come again next time.

Wenda and all of her colleagues were wonderful! English is spoken here. Fantastic service, friendly, helpful, very clean and spacious rooms, really nice view over the river and at night with all of the lights. Breakfast is good, the facilities are clean and presentable. The room was quiet and the window can be opened if you want fresh air or to cool down the room a bit, the ac works too to cool it down in winter but that’s recirculated air with some people smoking in non-smoking rooms (typical). Our room did not smell which was great and although we had neighbours we could not hear them, so good for light sleepers. Only downside is the bed is firm. Quick 10 minute didi to the ancient city, malls, delicious lunch and food places. The hotel organised a driver to take us to the hanging temple, yungang grottoes and then to a delicious local restaurant very affordable, helpful, reliable and kind driver (WeChat: 永恒). Also recommend going to the art gallery and museum only 10 mins away. It’s a good location.

Atour quality is always good! Nice and clean rooms. Here the location is good, not far from old city, and can take bus to the grottes.

The location is very good. I stayed in another homestay on the list the day before. I was not satisfied and moved to Yunzhong. Then I found that the location is much better. The bell tower and drum tower are around. It is very convenient for dining and sightseeing. It is the fireworks we want. But the inn is very quiet, and there is no noise to affect the rest. The service is very thoughtful, and every staff is very kind. We ordered fruit for takeout. Not only did they put it in the refrigerator for us, but they also told us that the inn has its own watermelon. If you want to eat it, just tell them. We changed the ticket temporarily, and they helped us contact the car to the high-speed rail station at 2:30 in the morning. The most touching thing is that the inn also arranged a brother to send my daughter to the car waiting on the street outside. When the door opened at 2:20am, the brother was sitting quietly in the yard waiting, getting up earlier than us. I am really grateful. The business car of the inn feels bigger than the general business car, and the master who took us to the airport is also very polite. Helped us upgrade the room, and it was not crowded after adding a bed, and there was a smart toilet. The courtyard with several entrances is very tasteful, but it’s a pity that I didn’t have time to take a closer look. We also gave local souvenirs before leaving. We spent 9 days in Shanxi and this was the most satisfying homestay.
