If you’re looking for a grand hotel this is not it. If you are looking to be welcomed, safety, peace, cleanliness and a great location this is the place. Walk easily from the train to upscale residential neighborhood a short walk to San Lorenzo. My twin room was like most doubles and Maura was available for any questions. The bonus was breakfast and a small beautiful garden to enjoy. So unbelievably quiet.

The location is great! Close to the station and the center. Very good value for money! The rooms are spacious, breakfast is included and the host was very friendly and helpful. She let us leave our suitcase at the B&b during our last day, which was great.

We really loved our stay at this charming B&B. Arriving by train in Florence, it was an easy (9-minute) walk from the station. Situated somewhat near the Galleria dell'Accademia, it was about a 15-minute walk to the Duomo. We found good restaurants in the area, too. Our host, Moraq, was especially lovely and hospitable. Breakfast was really nice on her patio, where a sweet little black cat named Cinder kept us company. The room was comfortable and the air-con worked well, which was great on the hot afternoons when we came back from sight-seeing. It's a great value, and we would stay here again.

An interesting older style building with modern amenities. A very quiet area about a twenty minute walk from the centre. Very comfortable room and extra comfortable bed. Dining room with small kitchenette where one can use the kettle, coffee machine and microwave. A courtyard where you can sit at any time or enjoy your breakfast. Moraq, who runs the bed and breakfast is very helpfull and genteel. I can thoroughly recommend this bed and breakfast. Lynda (Australia)

My family stayed 3 nights here and enjoyed it. Though really, only time in place was for breakfast and to sleep. If you stay in a room the whole time, you're doing florence wrong. The host is extremely friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor, 2 bedrooms with a small kitchen, which we didn't use. It ****** dragging a bag to the 3rd floor, but that's the way it is. The room was clean and maintained as good as possible for how old the building was. Does a musty smell but nothing major. The host served breakfast quickly. It is between 730 and 1030. It consists of a croissant, small loaves of bread and cookies, and yogurt. There is butter and jelly for the breads. To drink, they had coffee, orange juice, and chocolate milk. The location is ok. It is a 10-minute walk to the train station. It takes about 10 to 15 to walk to the Duomo. The Uffizi gallery is 20 minutes. The accademia is maybe a 10-minute walk. We walked to Palazzo pitti and the top of Michelangelos over look, that was about a 45-minute walk to the overlook. If I had to do it again, I'd stay maybe on the other side of the train station, but it might be more loud. Our street was quiet.
