It was really close to Hakata Station and very convenient! There was also a convenience store next to it, which was helpful. I ate Tsunabe at Hakata Station at night, but it was cheap, delicious and very satisfying! The room was made like a renovated condominium, and when I got off the elevator, I was surprised outside! It was hot and humid, so I felt a little uncomfortable. There was also a big TV and I enjoyed watching YouTube with my wife. Breakfast was only Western food, but I was very satisfied with the volume. I would like to stay again when I come to Fukuoka.

Spent the first night of my family trip in this hotel in early April. We were well greeted by the staffs of the hotel, check in was quick and the staff would do everything to ensure you feel like home. However, once we entered the room, we were “well greeted” by the odd smell of the room. We turned up the air conditioning and it was a bit better. Later when I had to tie my shoes, the strong smell came again so I suspect the odd smells comes from the room’s mattress. Anyhow, the other furniture of the room was clean in general, despite they look a bit old (especially the bathroom design). Our booking came with breakfast and it was amazing. There are two restaurants to choose from, one being set breakfast and another one being buffet. We chose the buffet, each food taste good with a good variety option, we checked out later with a satisfied tummy! In short, software (hotel staffs and food) of this hotel was enjoyable, but do not have too high expectations on the hardware (mattress, bathroom design).

This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

The hotel is in a great location and the selling point is the breakfast. However, I feel that like everywhere else in Japan, the food outside the hotel (which is a lot of options since in Nakasu) are better. So no need to specially choose for their breakfast. their bathtub is huge though.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in Jan 2020. The hotel location is excellent; 7 minutes walk from JR Hakata Station and 2 minutes to the Canal City shopping mall. It only takes about 10 - 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel by taxi for about JPY2,000 (less than USD20). The front desk is very helpful and friendly. Since the hotel was only opened in Jan 2020, everything is so new. We stayed in a twin bed room with a sofa bed for my teenage child. However, you still feel spacious. The room is clean and comfortable. I like the bathroom which is equipped with shower and bath-tube. There is also a public bath which is absolutely value added. The lobby is very well designed with a touch of Japanese style. When we asked the front line staff to call a taxi for us to go to the airport on our departure, the staff not only took care of our request but also led us the way from the hotel lobby to the parking where the taxi was waiting. I call this genuine service from the heart. This is the first time I give a 5-star review to a hotel. I believe they earn it and desire it, and hopefully they can keep on with it.

Good location. Good price. Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean hotel. Looks new. BUT... (1) I find the room too dark. There is a hallway light with sensor that I wished had a switch that could turn it on/off. It could’ve added brightness to the room. (2) The air-conditioner is centralized, you cannot control it. The air is not enough to cool the warm room. There was a time that warm air was being emitted so we had to open the window for cooler air. But opening the window lets you hear the street noise. (3) Toilet/Bathroom is small. If you are tall, you cannot comfortably sit when doing your business. (4) The hallway of the room is too narrow. But the bed area of our twin room is wide. If these are OK with you, it is still a nice hotel to stay in.

DDeznadNestled in the heart of Hakata, this hotel offers a haven of convenience within easy reach of delectable dining options, vibrant attractions, and transportation hubs. As a first-time visitor to Fukuoka, I was enamored by the city's charm, and this hotel quickly became a highlight of my trip. From tantalizing late-night eats to leisurely shopping strolls and serene photo spots free from tourist throngs, Fukuoka had it all. Upon arrival, it's essential to note that there are two hotels with the same name; the one we selected, situated in Gion, stands just a few blocks from the Hakata outlet. (A friendly reminder: Opt for metered taxis over the airport counters to avoid inflated fares.) Check-in was seamless, and the hotel graciously accommodated our request to store luggage as we explored the city. Their self-service storage option, complete with a secure four-pin lock, provided peace of mind throughout our stay. The hotel boasted comprehensive amenities, surpassing those of the three other accommodations we sampled during our journey. Our room, generously sized, easily accommodated our luggage with ample space to spare. The provided onsen attire was remarkably comfortable, so much so I wore it out under my jacket for the second night! I recommend heading to the onsen in the afternoon and past midnight to avoid the crowd. Post-soak, complimentary popsicles awaited—a delightful treat indeed. Pro tip: ince their onsen is located on the 1st level of the hotel, you can store your onsen items in the locker before heading out to explore. After a long day, you can head to the onsen to ”defrost” and clean up before heading up to sleep. Equipped with a smart TV, our room offered the luxury of streaming our favorite YouTube and Netflix content, adding a touch of familiarity to our evenings. Another standout feature was the live updates on onsen availability and laundry room usage—though it's worth noting that the latter incurs a fee, a minor inconvenience amidst an otherwise stellar stay. This hotel exceeded expectations, providing unparalleled comfort and unparalleled convenience. With all essentials at our doorstep, exploration was effortless, leaving us with cherished memories of our time in Fukuoka.

GGuest UserWe reserved 4 residential twin rooms in Tokyo Stay Tenjin from Aug 20th to 24th. As a frequent travellers (5-8 times to Japan annually), originally we had a very pleasant stay (prime location, all rooms are clean and we love the washing+drying machine in each room), until we experienced the life-time worst customer service. I requested for 2 hours late check out extension to 1pm and agreed to pay for additional charges for all rooms (2000 yen per hour per room and I paid 16000 yen in total). We experienced an unexpected long lunch on 24th and I sent a mail (at 12:30pm) via Tokyo Stay site to request for extension to 2pm (instead of 1pm). When we returned hotel at 1:20pm, one of the staff pulled his face, scolded and yelled at my family members loudly in Japanese, and he kept doing that in 3 of our rooms, even yelling at elderly and children of my family. My family members felt humiliated and were very upset. They told me that unpleasant experience, so I looked for that staff at front desk and asked the reason for the yelling and scolding, especially when we paid for all charges for extension. I used google translate in Japanese with speaker and there wasn’t any reply. When I asked for his name, he took off his name tag, ignored my request and said providing his name is against their privacy policy (All other staff were wearing name tags except him). He threatened to report to the police, if I keep asking for his name! Wait, what? So I want to ask: 1: Does the policy of Tokyo Stay allow staff to yell and scold customers when they do late check out? (not to mention we informed and paid for charges already) 2: It’s your policy to report your customers to the police when they ask your staff for their names?

GGuest UserI was attracted to the good location of 2 stations by subway airport line from Fukuoka Airport to Hakata Station and about 2 minutes walk from subway Hakata Station to the hotel. This time, I wanted to go to Shimonoseki, Ogura and Yamaguchi Prefecture based in Hakata, so I had a comfortable stay. The amenities were a style that took you from the corner in front of the front desk to the room for as much as you needed, and I felt that it was a good attempt from the viewpoint of environmental protection. I want to stay again. Thank you.

If you get to the hotel via Exit 6 from Tenjinminami Station, there is no escalator or lift and takes about 8 minutes from the exit. VVisit Y.Pro: The location was great, with short walking distance to subways, Tenjin underground mall, and lots of eateries. Staff speaks relatively good English and was very helpful. Con: Room size was average but manageable with 2 large suitcases. There is no driveway in front of the hotel for cars to unload the luggage. The road in front of the hotel was a narrow 2-way, so we had some difficulty unloading.

Free towel and toileteries. Only 1 lift but I never had to wait long. No room cleaning service even if stay more than 1 night but can return and replace towel. GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel that truly exceeded my expectations in terms of convenience, transportation, and facilities. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's strategic location, which made exploring the city a breeze. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the city, surrounded by various amenities such as shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues. This prime location allowed me to easily access popular tourist attractions, business districts, and transportation hubs, ensuring that I made the most of my time during my stay. Speaking of transportation, the hotel's proximity to public transportation options was a major plus. Within a short walking distance, I had access to bus stops, and subway stations. This made navigating the city hassle-free and saved me precious time that I could spend on other activities. When it comes to the hotel facilities, they were nothing short of excellent. TTravelholicsThe location is good as it connected to a sizable shopping mall. The room is decent small but there was very poor sound proof. The musical fountain next to the hotel with loud volume awoke us every 10am in the morning. On the last day of our stay in 7am. The couple next door were having noisy adult exercise… bang bang bang… to the wall between our room was sucks. We heard their yelling and breathing clearly all thru the time. We didnt take any photos from the room…Its really a terrible experience for our stay….n we will not come again..

AAnonymous UserFacilities: A bit old, but acceptable Service: You need to make an appointment to clean the room. While the service staff is cleaning, the guests have to leave the hotel. They are speechless and forced to sit in the coffee shop downstairs for an hour. You must check out at ten o'clock in the morning, (I hope Ctrip can make a special note), otherwise the whole night's room fee will be deducted... At ten o'clock in the morning, there is no place in the shopping mall or hotel to open... It is not humane at all. Environment: The hotel is in Tenjin. It is very convenient to go everywhere. Iwataya and Daimaru are both within walking distance. Ps: The toiletries are not the Pola ones in the promotional picture, but there are self-service facial cleansing kits and bath detergents in the lobby.
