"We have been to the resort for a short holiday. The road leading to the property may trigger a second thought about your choice, but as you enter the property, you start feeling good about it. The premises is very well decorated and maintained. Staffs were courteous welcoming you with warm hospitality and refreshing welcome drink. Check in process was simple. We were then taken to our room through the road surrounded by plush green. The room was Windchime category. It was spacious, with all required amenities and working. Room is very well maintained and tidy. We had swimming pool view room. The restaurant was beuatiful. Though we mostly opted for room service apart from breakfast. The food was very tasty and worth the money. Swimming pool is very well kept and cleaned thoroughly every morning before opening time. The pool timing is very different i believe as it is opened for the guests for nearly 12 hours a day. The play arena is nicely kept. Eknaya spa is a great addition which will help you relax even more. They also offer a lake cruise ride for a reasonable charge which is okay to take if you want. Lastly, great food, great room, beautiful property and mainly, very courteous staff made our stay at the property very much worth it and memorable. Big thanks Team SWOSTI CHILIKA RESORT."

No water sports and activities are available except boating. the day we went there, boating was also closed. The room says Lake View.. but the lake will not be visible from both ground and top floor if you want to go there just to relax then it is a good place.. As Gopalpur beach does not have many good places to stay, this can be a better option as gopalpur beach is not that far"
