SeanHe92The hotel's location is very close to the airport, but quite far from Patong, Karon, and other areas. A taxi ride costs around 200 RMB, so it's best to stay here at the beginning or end of your Phuket trip. There are no shops around the hotel; you'll need to take the hotel shuttle for about 10 minutes to reach a small town for shopping or dining. The hotel itself is a resort type, perfect for just relaxing on-site. The environment is nice, and the beach is uncrowded. Recommended if you're looking for a relaxing resort stay.

I booked a one-bedroom villa, and after visiting and comparing several units, I truly believe Villa #68 is the absolute best among the one-bedroom options! The layout and size are optimal!
The villa boasts a generous 550 sqm, offering huge space and a comfortable layout. It comes with a private pool that directly connects to the beach, making both privacy and the views impeccable.
The amenities are also comprehensive: a sauna, indoor and outdoor dual showers, and an outdoor bathtub, instantly delivering a complete resort feel and comfort.
The hotel itself has a very natural, ecological island vibe. We saw lizards several times on the villa rooftop and by the pool. At first, it was a bit scary, but they are actually very docile and completely non-aggressive – a rather unique wilderness experience.
Breakfast was just okay, nothing special. The service was excellent throughout; all staff members were enthusiastic, friendly, meticulous, and attentive. A special shout-out to Liam, who provided dedicated service from start to finish, always responsive, patiently helping us arrange all our needs with professionalism and warmth!
However, there are a few objective points that deduct from the overall score:
Firstly, the hotel's landscaping and gardening are rather ordinary compared to other resorts in the same category. Most of the public areas are sandy, with sparse and poorly maintained plants, making them generally not photo-worthy.
Secondly, the in-room facilities are a bit dated, especially the bathroom. The quality of the fixtures and sanitary ware like the toilet and showerhead feels quite common, which doesn't quite match the Luxury Collection brand positioning.
Getting to the island involves a bit of a journey, from the airport to the pier and then a speedboat transfer, but it feels worth it upon arrival.
If you're looking for an extra-large private villa, private pool, direct beach access, and excellent service, this place is still highly recommended. However, if you are sensitive to the public area landscaping and the newness of indoor hardware, you might want to do a bit more research.

imjennywThe staff here are all very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. We especially appreciate Rach's proactive and friendly service.
Although the lobby is a bit far from the rooms and we had to call the front desk every time we went out or came back, the shuttle service arrived very quickly and never delayed us. Even when we returned late, there were always staff members on standby to drive us back to our room immediately.
The hotel provides shuttle services to and from the Old Town and Central Festival. It would be even better if we could take the shuttle to the Old Town and then be picked up from Central Festival on the return trip.
The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was excellent, though the water pressure was a bit weak.
The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again!

Bonjour from TokyoI stayed in the Sunset Wing, and I would recommend there as well, as this is more quiet and most recent part of the resort. There are 4 or 5 pools in the resort, and convenient for all sort of travelling parties. The resort is just in front the beach which is definitely a great value. The location is very good near shops and restaurants. Definitely a great value for the pricing.

Guest UserCleanliness: Very good. I even saw the cleaning staff take off their shoes before entering to clean the room.
Service: Mostly okay. It was during a marathon, so there were a lot of guests, but the basic services were met. The front desk seemed to have some new staff members; there was a mix-up with unlocking my door, which led me to run up and down four times. They could definitely use more training and shouldn't be distracted while serving guests.
Environment: This is a large hotel within the Laguna complex. It offers great value for money, which explains why it's so popular. The hotel has its own pool, and transportation within the community is very convenient.
Facilities: Decent. The bed was too soft for my liking, not very comfortable to sleep on. However, for the price, the value is excellent, and the lake view room is absolutely stunning – highly recommended! The hotel also recommended a very affordable massage place, conveniently located within the Laguna community.

Guest UserOn the first day, the guy at the front desk kept trying to get me to pay extra. I did have three additional children with me, all under 12. He insisted the hotel policy was based on year of birth, not month, so it would count as 1 adult + 2 children. I explained we had just come from a boat trip and asked if we could check in first, and I’d pay for breakfast tomorrow if needed. The front desk said it was a 'headcount' fee, not a breakfast fee. They put us in rooms in two different buildings. I have to say, Trip.com was reliable and ended up covering the extra headcount fee.
The next day, two of my kids developed fevers. Susan and Zai at the hotel front desk were very caring and offered to call a doctor to the room if needed. It really highlights the importance of having overseas travel insurance, though we didn't end up needing a doctor. The kids had caught a chill the first night but recovered after taking some medicine and resting all day. Trip.com came through for us. The night staff at the hotel were not friendly at all, but the daytime front desk staff were very reliable and friendly. The room had a great sea view, but there wasn't a circular sofa in the room as I had hoped.

Guest UserThe hotel is located right in the tourist area, close to shopping malls. I booked a room with 3 beds, and it was very clean and spacious. There's a swimming pool right behind the room, which felt nice and private. I'd suggest improving the breakfast; I feel it could be better. The staff are lovely and friendly. I'd also like to see the hotel offer comprehensive motorcycle rental services.

Our family really loved our room during our Chinese New Year trip! 😍 It was very spacious. We booked a family room with a double-decker kids' area and a king bed. It could easily accommodate four adults – perfect for my parents and my two sisters. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were also excellent in terms of space and cleanliness. There was a large balcony overlooking the pool, which extended all the way to the beach – it had such a great vibe. We absolutely adored the overall facilities and environment.
In the evening, my elder daughter and I had a spa treatment. It was a bit pricey but acceptable 😁. The guy at the reception was very enthusiastic, and the overall service was great. My dad and younger daughter went to the soft play area, which makes this hotel ideal for family fun.
The scenery was spectacular. We visited on the first day of Chinese New Year, and they had a dragon dance 🐉, firecrackers 🧨, and gave out gifts 🎁 to the children. The kids had an absolute blast! Even though we were in Thailand, it felt very much like Chinese New Year.
There were yoga classes by the beach, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to join.
For service, I'd give it an 85 out of 100. 👍🏼 The front desk had a Chinese-speaking girl who was very thoughtful and helpful, and the doorman was also very polite. However, the restaurant staff and a female attendant folding towels by the pool felt a little lacking. While there wasn't anything overtly bad, their service just wasn't as comfortable as the rest. Everything else was excellent.
In summary: The hardware – scenery, accommodation, and cleanliness – was impeccable; the service still has room for improvement.

Spectacular views of the sea from the rooms make this resort a winner for feelings of peace and solitude. My room included a ceiling fan and a separate rain shower next to the bath tub. A massive free breakfast buffet starts the day for most guests, with changing options on a daily basis. Before breakfast I walked down the steep driveway to the private beach to swim either in the sea or the small pool next to it. At 7 am there is nobody around. One morning I took out a kayak (one hour free) which had stunning panoramic views. There are two swimming pools by the resort’s main building and both are delightful for swimming and relaxing.
Nothing much to do in the evening and the TV channel selection could be expanded with movie channels (e.g., HBO, Cinemax), educational channels like Discovery Asia, and nature channels like BBC Earth and Love Nature. I partook in a 90 minute herbal pack massage which was a bit pricy but very professional. Both lunch and dinner menus have sufficient variety of dishes and food quality was good. Staff were always helpful. In summary, Supalai Scenic Bay Resort is a wonderfully serene experience at a very reasonable room price.

the trip and the location was fine and great. Seen many great review, but only to be deluded by it. On first hand experience personally only can give an honest review after i've booked it myself, exterior of the accomodations looks good, but after we checked in and got into the room the interior of the hotel looks horrible.
came with my newly wed spouse
our first night we slept our body was itchy and been nonstop since next day and informed them to change the bedsheet and the issue was resolved. but then
floor tiles were cracked and broken throughout the room and the window for the window view was not cleaned. Not sure if its because i booked for the partial sea view hence the service of cleanliness wasnt there and as compared to the full sea view room. Though the bathtub by the window of the sea view was really quite good even for just the ”partial sea view”. managed to get some instaworthy photos. also quite a few things have happened. Our power trip on our second last day of stay. their service were great i went down showering halfway with my bathrobe to inform them that the power in the room trip all the electrical were out. They did do a room replacement for us informing us that they will fix our room in the morning while we were being temporarily upgraded to a better room but have to move it back to our own room before 2pm as there will be next customer coming, they handed the key over to us after the power issued was resolved and informed that is it still persist or tripped we can just use the key. but we never used it. but during our last day of stay we utilized the swimming pool facilities on the roof, it was fine and great also quite instaworthy shot. but after we swam in the pool like for good few hour we came back, to only saw them raided our room to repair the facilities without informing us despite we have not place any sign of ”please make up my room” or ”please do not disturb” even tho we were given the sign but we prefer not have our room disturb in the state we left it. but we came back and saw everything was move our belongings and all. i understanding that room service exist but we did not utilize it again, as my wife and i have the habit to self clean the room we stay in so will hardly call for any room service.
Actually i myself have came to phuket for the 3rd time and wasnt quite happy with the accomodations, as i know a hotel that my spouse and i have been staying on which is near the airport and the hotel is a ”2 star hotel” with a 3-4 star standards such as cleanliness and all. but never have we been raided, we just felt uneasy after staying here with a series of unfortunate encounters. was expecting minimumly a balcony or some place that me and my spouse can wash and dry out clothes, but nah uh. not sure if this is an actual 3star hotel after what we encounter, tho the staff seems friendly no offence.
had a bad experience, but booked it yourself to witness first hand experience. seeing just review can be deceiving and not most travel guru are latest updated.
when we had this series of encounter we did actually wanted to booked and the first & second time hotel we used to stay, but we decided to give them a chance for redemption. but they outdone themselves to be honest, everything was great but only they seems to put more effort into more professional like manner. raiding our room to fix your property is not a professional like manner imo.
