I really liked the ryokan: every corner absorbed the spirit of antiquity and history.

the room it self was not very clean and was also damaged/In need of repairs as there was bit of the doors broken and walls as well as the "hot spring" area was very damaged and when you stepped on the planks of wood on one side it lifted and moved
on a positive note though the staff were very hospitable and did there best and the meals were presented beautifully they also tried there best to help and tried to speak English as well (I also tried to speak in Japanese tho I am not very good yet)

The hotel is located next to the cable car and funicular station. The downside is that you will not be accommodated before your check-in time. After breakfast we returned and saw that our beds had already been rolled up. I wanted to lie down a little more before leaving.

Wonderful traditional hotel with amaizing breakfasts and dinners.
We stayed for two nights, so we had two breakfasts and two dinners. Every time it was different and delicious.
Hotel has two common bath and one private (not in your room).
Want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to hotel's staff for our vacation.

7-8 minutes walk from Sousan Station.
Dinner was excellent, and the employees were friendly.

The worst hotel I have ever been to in my life. They give it three stars and they don't deserve even half. Difficult access, excessive dirt, the thermal baths dirty, left and rusty. You make the beds yourself, since there is no service. There is no shower in the rooms, not even a measly mirror to comb your hair. On top of that we have had very bad weather, the visibility of Mount Fuji is non-existent and we cannot leave the hotel due to the strong wind and in addition there is nothing on the street where we can go and have a drink.
