I booked a room for my parents. They will join a tour group the next day and will meet at Hangzhou Building. Since they have to go downstairs to meet at 6:50, they will not be able to have breakfast. After learning about the situation, I asked if I could refund the breakfast? The front desk said that breakfast is included in the room and is not purchased separately, so it cannot be refunded, but I can prepare snacks for my parents in advance for them to eat on the way. Not long after entering the room, my parents took pictures and told me that they provided a lot of things and told me that I don’t need to order takeout for them tomorrow morning. I am very grateful for the hotel’s thoughtfulness.
The bathroom (forgot to take a picture) is very large with a bathtub. My parents can also wash clothes in it. They like it very much.

They were so helpful, and genuinely tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible.The girl and boy who checked me in did a great job. Room was clean and spacious. Good shower, with plenty of hot water. Bed large and comfortable. AC did leak water into the room a couple of times, do hope that will be fixed. When checking out presented with a snack and small soft toy, a very thoughtful gesture. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel! Great friendly staff . Great view ,lighting and air condition during winter! I never felt cold during my staying. The family room is quite big, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and you can dry clothes on the roof. It is located near the subway station, but it is very quiet and has a good environment. There are many snack bars nearby, and it is next to the West Lake Cultural Plaza and Yintai, which is convenient for travel. Hotel located near to metro station. The nearest station is Ding’an station exit gate D. The metro is red color (Line 1) direct line connecting to Hanzgzhou airport. So if you coming from airport no need to the change line. Hotel itself located at city, morning time can walk to Hangzhou museum, along the way many shops around. Western shops eg: macdonald, costa coffee, starbuck. Alot cafe, tea, souvenir shops. Close also morning market called Damanong. Can have breakfast and see the morning market. Use the public bicycle to go there, just use alipay. Distance 1.2km. Near the morning market at the end there is God City Temple for you to visit, can see the whole Hangzhou city from top of the temple. The hotel is clean, have free washing machine and dryer machine. Detergent provided. At the same place there are 2 treadmills provided ( gym quality). Couch provided while you waiting for you laundry. There is also a steam iron provided. Breakfast selection is good with varities of foods like egg fried rice, chicken sausage, ham, beef, eggs, salted eggs, cereal, warm soy milk, milk, bread, butter and strawberries jam. Noodles, congee, fruits, croissant, cupcakes, corn, cookies. There are 2 robots helping to deliver things inside the hotel. If you order food, the robot will send the food to your room. There are also snacks you can buy at the ground floor. For muslim, this hotel located infront of a mosque, there is a Halal restaurant near to the hotel. More halal restaurant across the road near to exit A og Ding’an metro station. I came during Christmas, the hotel give me present for Christmas, when I check out they give me souvenir to me also. Everyday, I was provided with 2 bottles of water and change new set of towel. The water heater, the heater function very well during winter. Im a happy guy during the visit.

The revamped rooms were amazing! I would totally recommend it. Loving its cleanliness and the tiled flooring. However, would not suggest to go with the family/kids room. It looks rather old and the furnitures/paints looks worn out.
Love the breakfast buffet spread! It was amazing, ranging from cold dishes to hot food. Especially the noodles live station, you get to curate it based on your own preference. Love their breakfast :)
Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. They provide simplified maps to ease your trip planning! It helped us a lot to understand the attraction and deciding whether to visit the place or not. Hehe.

GGuest UserLovely hotel in the middle of West Creek/ Xixi National Wetlands Park in Hangzhou. The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though it’s not a known brand.
I would say some things for improvement are as follows:
Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spa’s and they’re at roughly the same price point. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here.
Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left!
Restaurant – Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated.
The “Savoir resort” is not mentioned on Didi maps or on Baidu maps, and the Chinese name bears absolutely no resemblance to the English name 杭州所见 – 西溪度假酒店. Foreign people may have problems finding this location on their maps/ getting here without help (the less help that is required, the better).
The two top-end rooms (6999 yuan a night and 15,000 yuan a night) cannot be booked on
携程 （Ctrip） or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 – 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better.
The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels.

AAnna in ChinaIt was my first trip to Hangzhou. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday here and it was totally impromptu. What I was looking for: 1) a closer location to the West lake - to walk there, not to ride; 2) a balcony or courtyard; 3) and/or at least a beautiful view and surroundings; 4) as we love tea and really interested in Chinese tea culture, some tea plantation nearby could be a plus! Not many hotels seemed to meet my requirements and those which fit were way beyond our budget.
Xunzhenshe hotel looked very pretty but their description was not very clear. Anyway, considering that I was booking our room just a day (!) before our arrival on Friday night, Xunzhenshe seemed to be my only choice with just two rooms left. To be honest, I didn’t expect much when we arrived. However, from the beginning the service was outstanding with a personal approach. At the hotel they greeted us as we were VIPs. Celia, an English-speaking lady, who contacted me after my booking, was extremely helpful. She gave us few recommendations about Hangzhou and the area nearby. She showed us the tea plantation just next to the hotel and a room where farmers were drying tea leaves - it was quite short but interesting introduction to the hotel environment.
The hotel itself is owned and managed by a former architect. The building was built based on construction principles of the Song dynasty. As I understand, all ground floor units have their own courtyard. There is a parking lot, a tea room and a restaurant at the hotel. We were given a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment in a quieter part of the hotel and could enjoy our morning tea in our small but elegant courtyard. The apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. There was a kitchen and a dining room with a huge table (we didn’t use this room though). The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, however they offered mostly Chinese food (no problem for us as we love it). Our dinner and breakfast food were delicious!
Also, we so much appreciate totally unexpected birthday presents to my husband. Upon arrival he found a little gift with a touching handwritten birthday message and then birthday noodles were served at the restaurant. So, it was very unique and memorable celebration!
After all, I was really happy with my hotel’s choice.
To conclude what we loved the most about this hotel:
1. Attentive and caring service
2. Nature and beautiful surroundings
3. Very good location: just next to the West lake park and bridges. Walkable distance to the famous night show Impression and Su Causeway. Not far away to Leifeng pagoda and Longjing and Meijiawu villages.
4. Good Chinese restaurant with a terrace just next to the tea plantation
5. Amazing tea
Me and my husband had a great time in Xunzhenshe. Highly recommend it to those who love places with soul.

WWangThe staff are very friendly and very helpful. Very patient and polite we we felt very well taken care of. Even the security guard are very helpful. They give us supper vouchers when we are hungry at 10 pm. Very attentive to every single request or comments we make.

The only thing I hope they can improve is the ceiling can be taller in the room and the toilet can be a bit more quiet. But everything else is good.

The price during the Spring Festival is really a good deal. I saw the room and placed an order decisively. MMG LeeThis hotel won our hearts by its close proximity to the railway station/subway and the hotel good customer service. We are impressed by the level of responsiveness of the staff to our needs, and the hotel staff are very observant, giving us extra bottle of water in our stay, a gift of fruits on our last night (without us asking). Thanks to Sam and Alan at the reception who provide excellent customer service support and the housemaid who did a good job in maintaining the room's cleanliness. We feel very at home. The buffet style breakfast provide both local and western choices. Highly recommended.

YYellow叶美It was a nice stay. Location is good, right in Coral Gables downtown. I would say that there are no kettles in the room but you can ask for it and they will send you one. The room charges won’t go against deposit, instead you have the pay and after you do the check out they will release the deposit back to you. For Chinese travelers this might seem odd.

XXishuianbianAdvantages: The location is really convenient, very close to the Southern Song Palace Ruins Museum and Hefang Street; the stay was just before the Qingming Festival, the price was reasonable, and the cost performance was very high; the whole building of Vanke Golden Finished Products is an apartment, and there are security guards in the lobby on the first floor at any time, which feels very safe; there are convenience stores, fruit stores and SF Express's small transfer point nearby, and takeout and express delivery can be delivered in the apartment building; there is a small kitchen where you can cook some meals with an induction cooker and a refrigerator for food that needs to be refrigerated or frozen; it is very convenient to take buses, subways, shared bicycles and taxis around. The landlord responded promptly, friendly and patient. During the period, the wifi in the room needed to be repaired, and the landlord also actively helped us contact the master to repair it on site; he replied to me at more than ten o'clock in the evening on how to use the projector, thank you very much🙏
Disadvantages: The towels are not clean, and I don't know what the shampoo in the bathroom is. When using it, the hair sticks together and it is difficult to comb it out, which is relatively rare in homestays and hotels nowadays. The trouble is that the hot water supply is insufficient. The hot water is basically almost over in twenty minutes, and you need to wait for a while to use it again. The bathroom door is ladleful and can't be closed.
In short, except that the bathroom needs to be opened and closed, everything else is pretty good. It is cost-effective and practical.
