Hotels near Kaixuancheng Leisure Shopping Plaza, Harbin

The hotel is in a strategic location, with buses and airport buses nearby. There are plenty of shops on both sides of the road. It's OK to walk to Central Street and go shopping. The interior of the hotel is tidy, the fragrance is refreshing, the ladies at the front desk are very nice, the room is clean and hygienic, and the facilities are complete. I am satisfied!

The room appears much smaller than on the website but is adequate for solo travelling. Although water bottles was replaced daily, dirty tea cups were never removed or washed during my 4 day stay and I had to rinse them in the bathroom. The trash can was emptied every day but they do not make your bed. The shower head was broken and difficult to handle and the mattress topper was too big for the bed and kept slipping off. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was difficult in the sense that the hotel is situated in a very busy main road, with one way direction and few in between passes, meaning taxis must first drive quite far past the hotel before making a u-turn to turn back to drop you. The downside of using Didi's or taxi's are the rude and impatient drivers. They charged extra high fares during Christmas. We were often gridlocked in traffic, ending up walking back 2-4km to the hotel. Overall I was disappointed in the city itself. Many buildings were rundown and neglected with broken windos and peeled paint, that reminded me of a third world country. Streets were very dirty and a nearby school did not make traffic congestion any easier when commuting forth and back to the hotel. Rumours that Christmas is not so busy and a better time to be visiting Harbin, is not true. The crowds spoiled the experience at Saint Sophia Church, especially the influencers who dressed up in ridiculous outfits posing in freezing temperatures at the church staircases and corners, spoiling any photography opportunities. Stalls and shops around the Church were very expensive. I visited a few other churches like St Aleksyev and Jile Temple which was far worth the effort. The highlight of my trip was Volga Manor, Baroque Street and the Songhua Railroad Bridge. Sun Island snow sculptures were very enjoyable, easy to navigate and not congested with people. Plenty of space to walk through the park, play in the snow and take the cable car over the river. The ques are not long from the Sun Island side, but crossing over to Harbin's side, the ques were very long to get a cable car. Danny's Beer in the Baroques Street area is a must visit and offered welcoming, warm and delicious food and hospitality. It's a 4,7km hike from the Songhua River bridge and offered good food at very reasonable prices. I did not visit the Ice sculpture park or light shows because of the three hour waiting cues, too many people and slippery conditions. The Tiger park was a so-so experience and mostly annoying due to people teasing the tigers with meat strips they cannot reach; all for the sake of a photo opportunity. If you are an animal lover, rather skip the tiger Park. Lastly, a big plus was the public toilets near the Songhua River that were impressively clean.

The overall stay was very comfortable and refreshing. Let me start with the good aspects: first, the room was smoke-free and had large windows to enjoy the view; second, the front desk lady was very good. The flight was cancelled the day before and she immediately changed my check-in time. My family members were not feeling well and she also arranged for someone to send things upstairs; third, the security uncle was very responsible; fourth, the overall sound insulation of the room was good. Let me talk about the unsatisfactory aspects: first, although the room has floor heating and heating, the temperature is very unstable during the day. Sometimes we are still hot in T-shirts, and sometimes we have to wear sweaters in the house; second, the sanitation of the room is outsourced, and the main room is carpeted, and the carpet has never been vacuumed. At first, I thought the sheets and quilt covers would be changed every day, but on the fourth day, I accidentally spilled some soup on the bed, and there was a little lipstick on the pillow. When I came back around 10 o'clock in the evening, it looked neat outside, but in fact, the quilt cover, pillowcase and sheets were not changed. We changed them ourselves in the middle of the night. I also observed later that the quilt cover might be changed, but nothing else was changed; thirdly, it has something to do with the quality of the guests. Several times someone suddenly knocked on the door in the middle of the night, and there were five or six guests talking loudly at the door of our room in the middle of the night. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the stay, and the location was OK. Although it was 4 kilometers away from Central Street, it was still called Central Street Store, which was a little misleading. But the quietness was really guaranteed.

The location of the hotel is very easy to find. It is near the train station and Central Street. The sanitary environment is pretty good. The price/performance ratio is very high. Facilities: All the basics are available Service: The front desk staff is very enthusiastic!

I changed to 4 hotels during my trip to Harbin. This is the most comfortable one. All the newly opened facilities are the best. The children especially like staying here. The humidifier, floor heating, and room temperature are all very suitable. The mattresses The quilts and pillows are all made of mousse, so you can just lie down and fall asleep. It's like lying on a pile of cotton, which is very relaxing. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also very rich. There is also a restaurant downstairs for lunch and dinner, which offers a wide range of Northeastern, Cantonese and other cuisines. Meals can be delivered to the room.

We reached the hotel at 3AM the very early morning time with notice in advance. The checkin process is quick within lesser than 5mins. The property has the good location which is within walkable distance to the frequently visited attractions of the city. The time when we paid a visit to the city, beautiful lines of blossoms are blooming leading to the foremost satisfaction of staying here. Finally, the checkout is quick and sanitary staff also is friendly and helpful though there is language barrier but body language helped by the way. It’s recommended if you want to seek good property for stays during Harbin center.

Very unsatisfactory experience 1. The house is very, very small and the suitcase cannot be opened. 2. Windows are marked, but the corridor is basically the same as without windows, dark (it is recommended not to mark it with windows) 3. There is no place to put clothes in the bathroom 4. Also, the worst thing is that the door to the bathroom is not closed tightly. After taking a bath, the toilet and bathroom floor are covered with water, which is very, very uncomfortable. The sanitation and service are pretty good. There is a washing machine and dryer. Breakfast is about to finish get off work. The catering is relatively complete, but the accommodation facilities are too poor.

The service of the staff at this hotel is very good. Staff are humble but receptionists can’t speak English. Only one guy whom I guess he is a front office manager, could speak some English. Also breakfast at this hotel is superb! It’s full of varieties of food but mostly Chinese food, not Western food. It’s really impressive for me to have breakfast here. There’s also big shrimps in the buffet line. I have never seen this option from other hotels. The room itself is also spacious. Location of this hotel is perfect, quite close to all main tourist attractions.

The room is spacious, bright, quiet and comfortable; breakfast is from 7 to 10 o'clock, a combination of Chinese and Western, different every day, a kind of fish every day; the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the wash basin is in the middle, the toilet partition is on the right, and the bathroom is on the left, with shampoo and conditioner for bathing Herborist smells delicious. This is very necessary if you stay for a few days👍🏻 The current small problem is that the logic of the bathroom sensor light is unreasonable. I heard that it will be completely renovated later. The hotel is conveniently located, one stop away from Harbin West Railway Station, and about 300 meters away from Exit 3 of Kaishengyuan Station on Metro Line 3.
