The town of Mieders is small, has a typical rural feel, the area is perfect for relaxing, the people are very friendly. The hotel is ***, is comfortably furnished with everything you need. Don't be fooled by the outside impression. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and never pushy. Perfect for couples or families, we highly recommend taking the Stubaitalbahn from Fulpmes to Innsbruck, you can save yourself the stress of driving.

We booked a Panorama Deluxe room for 3 nights, checking in on Sept. 20th. The property is centrally located along the train station and features a parking directly connected by elevator. The “piece de resistance” of this tall building is clearly its stunning view on the town and surrounding mountains. We were lodged in room 1104 on the 11.th floor which is the top floor featuring rooms, as the 12th accommodates the lounge/restaurant where breakfast is also served. Curiously, the hotel doesn’t have a lobby in a traditional sense: the concierge & cashier counter can be found in a small separate office on the basement and the elevators to the rooms are located in a small hall, across a glass door, which opens directly on Brunecker Street. Access security to the floors being managed by room key-card, you can enter/exit the property and the parking with no contact to any staff at all. Our room was a corner one, rather large, beautifully architected and nicely furnished in a contemporary metropolitan style. From virtually any point of the room (bathroom included) it was possible to spot some additional detail of the stunning panorama. The room was comfortable and quiet (in spite of the near busy train station), breakfast was good and we definitively had a very good time here in Innsbruck.

Was hoping for so much better. We were on a Trafalgar Tour and stayed at this hotel on December 13, 2023. We were told it would be a 5 star hotel. First thing that happened was they lost our (and many others in our group) luggage. I asked at the front desk and they said ”We have never had problems getting luggage to the proper rooms. It's your tour operator's problem, there's nothing we can do further. After 2 hours our luggage still hadn't shown up. Went to reception, and another Trafalgar guest was there, who's luggage was also lost. Finally they had someone from reception go to the tour's rooms. Our luggage was found, however, the other guest's luggage was still missing. Our tour director went room to room (not just our tour's rooms, but EVERY room starting on the first floor.) and finally found their luggage in the 37th room she checked. It was an empty room with nobody staying there. Then, I found there was no remote for the TV or extra pillows. Requested them at front desk. They were delivered to my room, but the pillows were terribly mismatched. Carpet was stained and somewhat dirty. At our evening meal, they wanted to charge my wife extra for a refill on her soda/pop. Overall, this was the low-lite hotel in our tour. Not worth the money they charged our tour. Their customer/front desk service was bad, at best. Most Reception persons had a bad ”attitude”. Would never stay here again.

They even folded our clothes that were left on the bed Constant hot water Toilet roll and shower jel provided Your room key fit the rear hotel door to get into the hotel when reception is closed Lovely scenic view if facing the front of the hotel Bathroom towels provided Staff very friendly. Welcoming and helpful The free bus to either innsbruck town or to the ski station is 100meters down a hill and runs every 10 minutes untill 7.30pm Breakfast is provided if notified in advance @ 14 euros PP per day. Free WiFi throughout the hotel Room decor and wooden furniture is nice and fitting for the environment Cons Poor heating in room, we had 1 radiator which was always warn there was no termpature dial to turn heating up or down Sauna cost 10 euros per person per visit BBC world news and CNN were only English speaking channels. Foreign channels no subtitles available Major building work close by they start work @6am ( this is not the fault of the hotel) but wakes you up. No fridge . We left our drinks outside on the balcony to keep cold. I also brought food from thr UK which I had to throw away due to no fridge Hotel has no bar, despite the outside hotel sign advertising bar. Hotel is 100meters up a steep hill from the bus stop and 200 meters to the village of Igls where there are a few places to eat, shop and hire your ski equipment, but is hardwork walking up this hill when you have been sking alday. Due to room being cold extra bedding could be provided No kettle or condiments in unit Beds and sofa bed extremely squeaky No restaurant or evening meals provided No safe in room Although the room had twin single beds they were stuck together and could not be separated. The hotel room door does not lock, you need to use your key to lock the door from the inside, unless you ask for a second key, this could be a safeguarding concern as if someone wanted to stay in the room and the other person went out with the key, the door would remain unlocked, if you lock the door from the outside, you can't open it from the inside. I booked this hotel Purley for the ski in ski out, unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel I was told that this is not the case, the management having been trying to let the travel company know about this but stated they have had no response. The manager was very welcoming and helpful, and stated he changed our room to face the snowed mountains which was nice.if you want breakfast you have to notify him the previous evening and will be charged 14 euros per person per day, we declined. The manager emailed us the link for free bus travel to the ski station and into innsbruck town. We were only given 1 key which we had to keep with us whenever we left the hotel, this was because reception is only open at certain times of the day and evening and is not 24hours.As already mentioned, the hotel is 100 meters down a hill to get the free bus and a further 100 meters to

We stayed there two nights and it was great value for its price. In a quaint part of Innsbruck, Pradl Elf fully immersed us in the heart of the city, only a short walk away from restaurants, the Olympic Park, and (a bit further of a walk) the old city. The room we got was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Though we didn't use it, the little kitchenette provided was quite nice and could have been used. The bathroom was good. It is clear that the hotel is not always staffed: before our arrival (which we said via a form would be at 3pm), they sent us emailed instructions for how to get in the event that no staff was there. The instructions were simple to follow and straightforward, but as an American it was a bit odd to not see any staff present. But, the whole time, we felt secure so it was fine. The parking will cost 8 euros a day but is convenient, located about a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

It was sooo disappointing! To think that you were arriving at a respectable accommodation to find that they did not even have bell service. We arrived with our luggage and there was no one to help with it, our car service fortunately helped out, and then it was further downward from there. Every single item of request was a disappointment! Everything was answered with ”we simply do not have people to do the required service!” Not something one wants to hear while on vacation, paying full fee for a supposedly established place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is in a convenient location for getting around - next to the train and bus station for links to the airport, international/national trains in other cities, the Swarovski crystal world and around a 10 minute easy walk to the old town. We were checked in early by a very friendly lady on reception who initially let us store our luggage. The snow capped mountain views from the room (ours was on the 8th floor) are stunning and framed perfectly by the big windows. The hotel reception and room was stylishly decorated. In the room, there was a small window that could be opened and the air conditioning was very quiet, though doesn’t go down to the 10c on the thermostat and seemed more like 20c. The bedding was very nice quality and had a soft and firm pillow - these were probably the most comfortable pillows I’ve experienced in a hotel before. The bathroom is, again, very modern with nice smelling hand wash and shower gel/shampoo. The shower head had a few different settings, including a massage mode which ran for a few seconds. The shelf for the shower gel/shampoo wasn’t very strong though, so had to be held or rested elsewhere and the pump head kept getting stuck, but otherwise was very good and the towels were very soft and thick. The room was fairly quiet, but you could hear other people in other rooms so it doesn’t appear to be soundproofed in any way. Noise from outside (trains, buses and incoming aeroplanes) were very minimal though and did not disturb us. We found the room cleaning system a little strange - there are two cards that you can put on the door. One is not to be cleaned at all during the day and the other is not to have the room cleaned at that time and needs to be removed before 2pm. There isn’t anything to put on the door when you want it to be cleaned, you just have to remove both from the door handle. We initially had the card attached to the door not to disturb at that time (overnight) and then removed it in the morning at 11am and the room had not been cleaned. We were able to get clean towels from reception though. It would be better in my opinion to have a card to have the room cleaned rather than two not to have it cleaned as most people would surely want the room cleaned. We went to the bar on the 13th floor during our stay. This can be visited by hotel guests and non hotel guests. This looks very nice and has great views all around, as well as an outdoor area with blankets. The prices of the drinks are reasonable and comparable with elsewhere in the city. We sat outside and then asked at the bar for a couple of drinks. We were told that there wasn’t any bar service for the outside area - only the inside (which is not a problem at all). However, it was a bit awkward when paying, the lady making the drinks asked if I wanted to give a tip. Given that the drinks were just being made and not brought to our table, I did not give a tip. I may be over thinking this, however it fe

Outstanding
Jjobs_67The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! Other hotel guests across the hall were opening their doors to find out what the loud racket and noises and disturbance was. This whole problem took the poor m

GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful, in a very good position, central but quiet with a public parking going directly to the hall and the rooms are super clean, the breakfast is good and with a lot of choice...so why only 3/5? Because the staff at the reception is completely useless and the wellness area had very restricted hours (from 5 to 9 p. m. only), they wrote due to the cost of energy, but if this is the reason, why the heating in the rooms was always so high? We had to turn it off and open the window during the day to breath, it should have been around 24-25 °C. If they kept it lower they could open the wellness area for more time, especially because there were a lot of people (60 rooms most or them booked) and it was difficult to use a 8 people jacuzzi and around 20 deck chairs if everybody go there at the same time. The problem with the reception staff totally useless happend twice: in the wellness area you shouldn't drink or eat (it's logical but I asked to be sure), I said there was a group of teenagers with beers and bottles in general (glass) but nobody came to check and say somehing: bringing glass near a swimming pool could be very dangerous if a bottle fall, but nobody cared. The other episode was with the restaurant: we asked at the reception for a reservation in any night of our stay (5 nights), but they say to ask directly to the restaurant without caring at all at our request. At the restaurant they were very rude and said they were fully booked any day any time without even checking, fortunately just around the corner there was another very good one and we went there twice, but usually if in the hotel there is a restaurant, the staff is much more helpful and there is always the possibility to try it if you are a guest of the hotel.

GGuest UserThis place was TERRIBLE! OK, Buckle Up for my review…. Originally planed to stay here a week but left after a couple days. I was switched between rooms 4 times because the A/C doesn’t work in any of them, yet it works fine in the lobby. I only found out the A/C in the room is regulated to 5min of air con so the hotel can save money. Everyone was complaining because the sun bakes the back of the hotel and the rooms were over 33 degrees C (90F). So all the rooms smell from sweaty body odors and the beds are greasy with sweaty oil. When I brought this to their attention they offered me a rickety old floor fan (at no charge) ???? Seriously? They also list “parking” but all the spaces are always full, when I finally got a spot under the hotel in the garage I noticed all the cars are banged up because the spaces are so small. If you look at the spaces they look like they were once normal size but have been squeezed down to accommodate more cars. Then there’s the food… The food serviced for breakfast is awful and appears to be what’s leftover from the restaurant the day before. It’s so bad it’s hard to describe. I could never complain about any of this to the front desk because they were always 7+ people deep with other guests complaining. Some big guy who I was told was the manager was yelling at some girl who was asking for her money back and was in tears because it was her honeymoon and this place was ruining it. I left for a cheaper hotel downtown with no A/C and no parking, or breakfast and it was 10X better for half the price. Plus, this place claims to be close to all the fun things to do in Innsbruck. That’s another total lie, they are on the outside of town but give their guests a bus ticket. It’s ridiculous. They also tried to charge me for the total stay when I checked out 3 days early for my room never getting below 28C. Luckily, my Credit Card company was on top of it and I got all my money back. There were so many people complaining that I’m skeptical of and positive reviews on TA.

GGuest UserVery good value in the center of Innsbruck. We were very happy with our experience. The hotel was just steps away from the Christmas market. Easily accessible by public transport and by foot from...anywhere in town. We had dinner in the restaurant and had an excellent meal. The breakfast was outstanding. Very friendly and accomodating staff.

GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed here recently with our dog. It was a very nice hotel and I wish I could have stayed longer. We had an amazing view of the town of Natters from our room. The breakfast was tasty. Parking was a breeze. The location was perfect for our visits into Innsbruck using the tram with a station down the street from the hotel. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant on our last night and it was delicious. Room service for dessert later that night was a fun treat, as well. We did not use the spa/wellness area which was the only regret as I'm sure it was a very relaxing space. I have already recommended the hotel and would stay again if visiting the Innsbruck area again in the future.

GGuest UserWe had a great time at the Urban Inn! Modern and tastefully furnished apartment. Clean. The spaces are not large but we had a good time! Check in is online but we didn't have any difficulty getting in. The only limitation is that some apartments have windows at the back, ours on the ground floor looked out a bit onto the bins... Excellent location, 10 minute walk from the Golden Roof

GGuest UserI really wanted to like this place, right in the middle of the old town with large rooms by European standards. But when the manager threatens to call the cops and makes your sister-in-law cry based on a booking error, well you can only rate it one star. We were two families. My sister-in-law had a family of 5 and booked one of the rooms on ******* that had 2 double beds and a couch. ******* only let her enter 4 guests, which she figured was a limitation of how ******* worked. In any case, it didn't matter, as my family of 4 had booked a different room with the same number of beds, but which definitely slept 6, so we could take an extra person. Fast forward to check-in. When the manager asked my sister-in-law how many people she had, she said 5, at which point he went ballistic. He started calling her a ”f***ing American”, told her to get out of the hotel, and threatened to call the cops. It took several f-bombs later and a bit of help from the rest of the staff (which seemed dismayed at the manager's behavior), until he let her stay. At this point she was in tears. Completely abhorrent behavior. That manager needs a new profession. OH, and everything the review below said about the heat is 100% true. The building is designed like a greenhouse with a big open atrium with skylights at the top. This traps the heat in the building and sends it to the top floor. If you are unlucky enough to have the top floor rooms like the Stadtturm, you will bake. The highs during our stay topped out at only 80 degrees, but you can't get the heat out of the room with one tiny window. They might even promise you a portable air conditioner, but they don't vent it, so it just spits cold air out the front and hot air out the back, for no net gain. NEVER stay on the top floors in the summer here.

GGuest UserFantastic location!! Right next to the train station, very central and with Mountain View. Clean room and the best bathroom we have ever had in a hotel! Sparkling clean, huge shower and fantastic facilities. Nice lighting in the room Lovely and quiet room despite being so close to the train station it was silent. Reception staff were incredibly friendly and made an exceptionally good check in and out service. The reception team have a very cute Labrador! :) Would I come again —- most definitely!!!!

Ppeter mLocated on the outskirts of Innsbruck the hostel is relatively easy to get to. From the central station you just walk around the corner and catch the number 3 tram (heading for Amras). After a few stops you get off at `Pilippine-welser strabe’ and then walk for about ten minutes. Incidentally, if your flight is a morning one, don’t turn up at the hostel in the hope of an early check-in as there is no receptionist until 14.00. So unless you want to sit outside and twiddle your thumbs you would be better off placing your bags in one of the rail station lockers and having a look around the city. Our room was small and basic (no television etc.) and our allocated bathroom was across the corridor. But it was all high spec and, in keeping with the rest of the hostel, spotlessly clean. The receptionists were polite, knowledgeable and helpful (don’t forget to ask for your welcome card which gives you free travel on the trams and buses within the city). Breakfast was more than sufficient to keep us going for most of the day, although some might feel that the choice on offer a bit limited. Should we ever return to Innsbruck we’d be happy to stay at the Marmota again.
