"I stayed in room 303. First off, this hotel offers great value for money. The room was very clean, and the service was warm and attentive. The front desk staff, especially one young man, was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent service. It's quite close to Dagu Glacier and Yangrong Hade ******* area. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very enthusiastic and happy to assist with anything. They deserve a reward for their hospitality.
Secondly, there aren't any restaurants nearby, which makes dining a bit inconvenient. However, the hotel has its own restaurant and kitchen where you can order dishes. The stir-fried dishes were just okay; I ordered stir-fried tomatoes with eggs and twice-cooked potatoes for 50 yuan. I'm not sure if the potato slices weren't cooked properly or something else, but I ended up with an upset stomach that night.
Finally, there's a river near the hotel, perfect for a post-dinner stroll. You can also sit and chat over tea in the shaded pavilion next to the hotel.
Here are some downsides:
1. The bathroom ventilation wasn't very good; even after leaving the fan on for several hours, there was still a lingering odor.
2. The bath mat was damp and had a musty smell, suggesting it wasn't washed before being folded and placed under the sink.
3. The shower slippers weren't dried properly.
4. The walkway between the twin beds was very narrow, and there was only one nightstand in the middle. With two people's phone chargers and other items, it felt quite cramped."

"After visiting Dagu Glacier with friends, I opened Ctrip and saw this Gar Manor B&B. It is close to the scenic area, but the road up the mountain is a bit tortuous, a winding mountain road. Fortunately, the road surface is all asphalt and relatively spacious, not as difficult to drive as imagined. Although it is the rainy season these days, I didn’t expect the clouds in the mountains to be very beautiful, so it was not a wasted trip. The hygiene in the hotel can be said to be very attentive, and even those who are a little bit obsessed with cleanliness can be satisfied. Then the most impressive thing is the service of the housekeepers. They were very proactive in receiving us, and even their enthusiasm made us a little embarrassed. "Hygiene: Very clean, and they even provide disinfectant alcohol (Picture 3), which is great for germaphobes! The tissues are also from C&S.
Environment: There are many guesthouses nearby, all run by locals, offering a very authentic local experience.
Facilities: We drove here. If you need to charge your car, you can do so at a fish restaurant next door. You can also cast movies from your phone to the TV in the room.
Service: You can book tickets for Dagu Glacier through the host, which is slightly cheaper than booking yourself. They also prepare their own breakfast, which includes butter tea and is quite unique.
If you're looking for places to eat, I recommend the Hade Plaza in Heishui County, as there are more options there. We tried a ******* restaurant called Xiangnage, and the food was pretty good."

The breakfast was another highlight! "Extremely satisfied! I booked my stay on ***** New Year's Eve quite early. Originally, the owner wasn't planning on operating and wanted to close for the holiday, but they still accepted our booking and hosted us. We arrived around 8 or 9 PM that evening, and the owner was waiting for us and even presented us with a blessed Hada (******* ceremonial scarf). Before arriving, I called ahead to ask if dinner was available. The owner's chef was on holiday, so they arranged for the restaurant next door to wait for us, where we had a delicious clear yak meat hot pot.
The hotel room's overall decor is in the ******* style, which my parents loved, and the price during the Chinese New Year period was very reasonable. Breakfast was prepared by the owner and his wife. They even asked about our planned departure time so they could get up and wait for us. The dumplings 🥟 were delicious, and the owner's wife thoughtfully gave a small red envelope 🧧 to the child. So considerate! Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"The hotel is located on the outskirts of the county town, so it's very quiet. The room facilities are quite complete; the shower room has a heater, and disposable toilet seat covers are provided. The bedding is comfortable, and the front desk service is very good. The downsides are that breakfast is very simple, the bowls and chopsticks aren't sanitized, the soy milk is very watery, and the shower pressure is very low – maybe the showerhead is clogged."

"Upon checking in, I realized Gar Manor is located on a hilltop across the national highway from Yangrong Village, giving it a secluded feel. It comprises three hotels: Gar Manor, Huazhu She, and Starry City, all sharing a common check-in lobby and breakfast restaurant. Starry City is at the highest elevation with the best views, but the drive up involves very steep winding roads. The worst part was the daily ascent back to the room after meals, a 5-7 minute uphill climb on steps at an altitude of 3000 meters.
I stayed in early November, by which time the colorful forests had lost their vibrant hues, and stratocumulus fog is rare in autumn, so the scenery was average and not particularly stunning. The hotel's facilities are quite good for a ******* area, but the management is too casual, not formal or serious enough, and the hygiene needs improvement. Breakfast had too few options and surprisingly no fruit, which doesn't justify the hotel's price.
Finally, the road to the hotel from the national highway involves about 5 kilometers of mountain road with many sharp and steep turns. Although the road surface is well-paved, new drivers should be cautious, and driving at night is quite thrilling and not recommended. Lastly, the quality and variety of the hotel's dining options need to be improved. The high prices are understandable given the high and remote location, but the food's lack of flavor doesn't live up to the cost or the image of a high-end hotel."

The hotel is nicely decorated and clean. We loved the big windows and view. Beds are comfortable and the owners are nice. It's located up a hill, and they don't have a restaurant, so if you don't have a car and want to eat dinner, it's difficult to walk back up. I booked this hotel because they have a room with a big hot tub. But it was a big disappointment. The water source for this tub is a kitchen type faucet, which does not work for a big tub. It took hours just to fill one-fourth of it, and water coming out was not hot enough. And even if it were hot enough, the hours that it will take to fill the tub would eventually make the water cold. It was too late that we realized this so we ended up not using it. There were a lot of things wrong with this tub. When you want to soak in a hot tub, it would only take a few minutes before the water turns cold, so you would want to drain some water, and refill with hot water several times. But clearly with the type of faucet they put there, that was impossible.
Another thing, when we were eating our breakfast, the owner was smoking in the next table.

Guest UserBefore coming, I looked at several guesthouses in Heishui County and finally chose this one. Both the environment and service were great! It's very close to the scenic area, and the owner arranged for someone to pick us up and drop us off. We loved the style of our room—it was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. The air conditioning was adjustable and provided warmth, so we didn't feel cold at night! It was super cozy! It's a whole guesthouse with its own courtyard, and the owner was very welcoming—they even helped us with our luggage! So thoughtful! I'd definitely book this guesthouse again next time I come back. Tashi Delek!!!

Tbh$This resort is suitable for families with kids as the interior design was amazing, relaxing and warming. The room was big and clean while all the accessories were brand new and we can enjoy movie time with a big projector although my son and daughter enjoyed the swing more. We reached there at night and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The delicious breakfast was served by a friendly and sweet receptionist - 阿依. The resort also includes a reading corner on the second floor of the cafe and is suitable for those who like to take photos. Anyone who is looking for a short trip at Dagu Glacier, can consider this resort, it's worth it.

Guest UserI genuinely recommend this ******* guesthouse in Heishui – you won't be disappointed! The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with mountains on three sides and fresh air. It's cool and a great escape from the summer heat, and in autumn, the colorful forests are breathtaking. The rooms are authentically decorated in ******* style, clean, and very comfortable. The owner is incredibly nice, warm, and accommodating – always ready to help. The ******* food they make is absolutely delicious, and the value for money is outstanding. It’s the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Dagu Glacier. My experience here was fantastic, and I’ve already recommended it to my friends!

Far mountain hotel is a family runner hotel, we have to wait for checking in about 30 mins. But the hotel owner was nice and well taking care us. The room was a little antique style but nice and spacious, the only comments is it was too cold for toilet and bathroom during winter. There was a heater controller at the ceiling but it was too hot. 2 bottles of water were provided. No breakfast was offering in the hotel. Overall us ok because we just stayed for a night before our trip to Bipengou. Location is closed to base of Bipengou. Great value for money.

Traveling solo to Dagu Glacier, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and even invited me to try some yak jerky. The room was exceptionally clean, and after I booked, they had already turned on the air conditioning and floor heating, making it super cozy. I drive an electric car, and there's a charging station less than 20 meters from the entrance, which is incredibly convenient for long-distance electric vehicle trips.

This place is a one of a kind stay, if you've never been to China, this stay will put you in awe. This stay is more if a homestay owned by families. Rich with ******* heritage and hospitality. We were quite surprised that they said to just go upstairs and choose any room we liked 🤣. We really enjoyed our stay although the amenities were quite lacking but just enough. At night we were asking the owner if there is any nearby convenience store to buy some snacks but all stores were closed at the time. But the very kind uncle (owner) invited us to walk with him to his friend's store in the village. The store was closed but he called his friend to open the shop just for us ♥️. Overall a once in a lifetime memorable experience. 👍

Guest UserThe room is very spacious, clean, and comfy. This is the only hotel I found during my entire trip that has a bidet. The thing I appreciate the most is the service. The staff there were extremely welcoming and warm; they even offered us fruits and candies. When the kettle had a problem, they delivered a new one along with a bunch of water bottles without us even asking for it. I truly appreciate everything about this hotel.
When I left my belongings behind, they immediately contacted me through WeChat and offered to send my items via SF Express. Even until the very end, they continued to provide 100% service. I’ve never written such a long review before, but this time I felt it was totally worth it. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel if I visit 黑水 again.

The room was clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. The underfloor heating in the room kept it nice and warm, and there was plenty of space. Parking was convenient, and downstairs there were restaurants with fresh ingredients, delicious food, and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back again.
