"This was my favorite hotel during my Europe trip! The entire staff was incredibly warm and attentive; everyone was just so lovely. They even upgraded us to a sea-view room, and the view was absolutely unbeatable. You can walk down to the beach in just a couple of steps. There were a lot of Chinese guests staying there, which made us feel very safe.
The new renovations are really interesting and feel very high-end. The toiletries in the room are all from NUXE, which was such a fantastic touch. Loved it, loved it!"

"The room was spacious enough with a closet, table and a bottle of water was provided.
The hotel was a 4 out of 5 generally, but the location was not perfect, with 30mins walk from nice ville station, and 20-30mins walk to the main tourist spots. They didn’t provide shampoo, only body gel. Walls were not that sound proof but it’s fine with us coz we are not light sleepers.
But it’s very nice that they offered us early check in and free luggage storage service!"

"Breakfast is OK, and the environment is okay. The room and bathroom are a bit small, but there is a fruit and vegetable bought by a local near the hotel. It is cheap and delicious. There is a grilled chicken downstairs for 5.9 Euros. There is also a local shop next to it. The Erqi restaurant has a large portion, and one serving for two girls is enough. Go right from the hotel to the main road, the tram line T1 is near, and T2 needs to walk a short distance, about 8-10 minutes, it can be directly reached by Nice Airport, you can get on at 4:30 in the morning, and the airport is about 5:15 Divide around..."

"Staying at Byakko was comfortable and enjoyable. Nice lady at reception, helpful staff. It’s convenient that you have access to the breakfast area and free drinks up to 6 pm. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic! We loved the selection of cheeses and meats, great pastry, fresh juice, eggs and crepes with various toppings. Thank you for great service."

"The location is decent, near the main road. It's about a 15-minute walk to the train station. The breakfast was quite good, and luggage storage was convenient. The heating worked very well, and the front desk staff were friendly."

"Small hotel but in the great distance from the train station, the room was big enough for 3 people, had one double bed and one single bed, the bathroom was quite small but equipped with all we need. Then lobby room should be bigger and provide some cutlery and cups for guests who want to bring something to eat.
The overall stay was good we love it."

"Visited in May '26 and had a great experience. I was a bit worried after reading older reviews, but it seems those might have been outdated. The hotel's hygiene is now very good, and the front desk staff were fine. It's a 10-minute walk from the airport and a 5-minute walk from the train station, making it convenient for travel to nearby cities. It was especially handy during the May Day bus strike! The only downside is that shopping isn't very convenient. The hotel also has a laundry room with Miele washers and dryers that looked quite clean, available for a fee."

"I had a wonderful stay at this establishment. The service was truly top-notch, from check-in with the night manager to breakfast: all the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive.
The room was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, which made my stay even more pleasant. The hotel also boasts a convenient location, about a 10-minute walk from the Exhibition Palace, which is a real bonus.
The breakfast is generally nice with a good selection; however, there's a lack of non-pork options like chicken or turkey breast. Furthermore, considering the offerings, the €19 price doesn't seem entirely justified to me."

SSurajnThe location is near the Nice airport, which is very convenient. The tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel, so you have easy access to the airport, and to the city centers of Nice, Cannes and other locations.
The hotel, overall, was clear. They did a good job with the rooms, which were fairly spacious, only there was a bit of confusion about which glass bottles were clean or dirty outside, near the water machine, which is the only way you can get drinking water for the room. The clean bottles were supposed to be on top of the machine outside, near the elevator, but I was unsure if those bottles were actually clean.
The service was very good, the team at the front desk was very helpful. There was a small scare when we first arrived, as the hotel said that they did not have our booking in their system (which I had fully paid for in advice, on Trip.com). They made a few phone calls, and we managed to get the 2 rooms that we booked for the five of us (2 adults, 3 children). I should point out that they said I was lucky that they had their last 2 rooms available, which they keep for such emergencies.
I did not pay for breakfast, but we did eat the breakfast there twice, and if one adult buys the breakfast (19 euros), then the children are free. That worked well for us, and the children enjoyed the breakfast, as did the adults.
There is a swimming pool, which is a small to medium size, and although we didn't use it, saw that many others were enjoying the pool. The gym was a decent size, but there were no free weights, which I like to use, so I did not use the gym. The restaurant connected to the hotel is only open Monday to Friday, and the menu is limited. There is not a great selection of restaurants nearby, but you can order in from others further away, though you will find that they make mistakes.
Overall, a good choice for a reasonable hotel near the airport with good access to the cities around.

Now the downside the rooms are really really small, I think there may be some that a larger ie junior suite but not what we were allocated. There is no facilities and no sitting space outside of the hotel. Would I stay again, yes if I managed to get a bigger room definitely not in the room we stayed in 118.

LLazarouxgetting there : you dont need the tram from Terminal 1 (its walking distance and its well sign posted)but you do for terminal 2. The main door was out of order so in the dark it’s hard to find the side one.
Reception was easy but there can member of staff after 10/11pm which could delays things.
Rooms are fine but I would not say to Sheraton standards and certainly nothing to brag about on the deluxe room option. All comfortable, practical , clean and what you need for an overnight stay.
The pool was closed as Jan/feb there is no one to supervise and rather cold. This was not mentioned when booking was done which is a shame if you have kids!
Room: is fine but there is a constant buzzing noise which either comes from the aircon or the electrical unit outside ( not sure). Bed is comfy and cosy and bathroom is all what you need.
However there is a constant smell of sewage coming and going either in the hotel area or the bathroom. It’s intermittent and comes and goes, somewhat unpleasant at times but not overwhelming annoying.
Breakfast was good and you can order an omelette (as per previous unsure reviews) on request though plenty of choice is presented for full international breakfast. It’s all spread out over the whole room so there is a lot of going and coming around :)
Overall easy stay for a night , Summers or hot days must be fun with the top terrace/pool thought the view is mostly over the airport ( if you like that).
I would say a tick expensive for what you get but they can charge a premium for airport surroundings!
Recommend for short stay or late arrival.

The room door needs to be closed twice to shut completely, and you have to stand in the bathtub to shower. No slippers are provided in the room. The soundproofing isn't great, and it's right above a busy street. On the upside, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Breakfast is simple (cereal, yogurt, toast)and all you can eat, but for 9euro it is good value as surrounds are generally more expensive. There is no soap or shampoo in the showers, bring your own towel and locks as most hostels are. I did like first in first serve for the bedding. Bedding was basic, and comfortable. The social areas were great! Was nice to have access to a gym, fantastic addition to the place.

The common area is quite spacious, and there are two staff members at the front desk. I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm. The room was a bit small, but each bed had a curtain, which made it feel much more private and secure. At the very least, the light didn't bother anyone else.

NNoelle CCI recently had the opportunity to stay at a Best Western hotel for the first time, and I must admit, my expectations weren't very high at the outset, given it's a 3-star establishment. However, I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed by the level of customer service provided during my stay.
From the moment I checked in on a rainy day in Nice, the hotel's thoughtful amenities like umbrellas for in-house guests and the warm availability of coffee and tea made a significant difference. These small gestures of hospitality were not only practical but also deeply appreciated.
