"The hotel's location is excellent, just across the street from Kingdom Tower. The room amenities were complete, though a bit dated. Unfortunately, there were people drag racing late at night, which disturbed my sleep. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious and nutritious options. However, as Ramadan began on February 18th, non-Muslim guests had their breakfast relocated to a different area with fewer choices."

"The hotel is great, loved the size of the room, amenities, cleanliness, and comfort is on point for the price.
The reception and check in process is smooth, bilingual support can be an additional point but the communication is still 👌.
The room service and house keeping is also great.
However what can become a nuisance quite easily is that the hotel claims to have a parking but it stays full so you have to park around the hotel and it is a busy area hence it gets a bit difficult. Moreover, for now the paid parking meters are here but they are not charging yet, once they do .. it will be more difficult to park outside the premises of the hotel.
The other downturn for me personally is the size of the commode in the bathroom. Room for improvement here as not only the commode sprays water everywhere while flushing but the bidet makes alot of noise.
Over all, I may come back to the hotel for the peace And quiet in the room, lobbies, and the size of the room but the parking can be a down turn for me."

I recently stayed at Centro Olaya Riyadh and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is impeccable—the rooms are modern, sleek, and exceptionally clean, offering a perfect urban retreat in the middle of a busy city.
What I loved:
Service: The staff were professional and went out of their way to ensure a smooth check-in and comfortable stay.
Facilities: The rooftop pool and gym are highlights of the property, offering great views and a chance to relax.
Vibe: It has a very chic, lifestyle-focused atmosphere that is perfect for both business travelers and couples.
The only downside: The only thing to be aware of is that there aren’t many shops or convenience stores within immediate walking distance of the hotel entrance. If you need snacks, pharmacy items, or a quick retail fix, you’ll likely need to take a short Uber or drive to one of the nearby malls or commercial strips.
Verdict: Despite the lack of immediate shops nearby, the quality of the hotel and the service make it a 5-star stay for me. I would definitely stay here again, just with a little more preparation for my personal supplies!"

Great hostel right in the center of Riyadh, which makes everything super accessible to shops, restaurants, and transportation are all just a short walk away. The common kitchen is really convenient, and I love that they offer free drinking water, coffee, and tea anytime.
One thing that could be improved is the bed mattresses, as they’re starting to look a bit old. Replacing them would make the stay even more comfortable.
Special mention to Paul, the supervisor - extremely friendly, professional, and genuinely smart. I even dreaming about hiring him someday to help me build a hostel empire in Europe and the Philippines because he’s really that good at what he does!
Overall, a great experience with just a few things that could be improved. Would definitely stay again!"

"I've been using Trip.com for years, and this is the first time I've ever left such a negative review. I checked in late at night, only to find the door lock was ridiculously broken, almost falling off. When I went downstairs and immediately asked for a room change, the front desk acted as if they hadn't heard me, saying they'd send someone to fix it right away and told me to go back upstairs. Even though they managed to drill the nail back in, it felt like it would fall off again with just a push from the outside. I contacted Trip.com, and I overheard the front desk telling their customer service on the phone, 'It's OK. OK, just the safety lock.' Later, they told me it was fixed and to go back up. Throughout the entire negotiation process that evening, there wasn't a single apology. Is this what the Mercure brand has come to now?
With the help of Trip.com customer service (Yanzi), I finally got a room change, utterly exhausted. I don't understand why they wouldn't switch rooms when there were clearly other rooms of the same type available. After a ten-hour flight, and no rest – who could give a good review? By the way, Yanzi was truly efficient and excellent at communication, a stark contrast to the speechless hotel staff.
P.S. The location is excellent. Subway and supermarket are all conveniently available. Breakfast is around 100+ riyals; it's filling and even has congee, but it's not worth purchasing separately."

"It's an older hotel, but it was renovated last year. The lobby and rooms are freshly updated, though the rooms are on the smaller side due to the original old design and layout. Breakfast is pretty good and offers a good variety, and the service is decent too."

Kim, in particular, truly stood out. She was cheerful, warm, and very thoughtful, and even took the initiative to help my husband and me take beautiful photos, which meant so much to us. Her genuine care and positive energy made our experience feel personal rather than routine.

GGuest UserThe reception was excellent and the staff were wonderful. The Arabic coffee was amazing, but the smell of cooking and frying was everywhere, clinging to clothes, making incense useless. The bathrooms smelled of smoke. The furniture was old, and some things weren't clean, like the holder for the papers. I had to change the towels and bed linen as soon as I checked in because they weren't good, and the towels were dark from wear and tear. However, a great feature is that they provide everything in the bathroom: toothpaste, loofahs, etc. They really, really need to provide earplugs because of the street noise.

별별따러갈사람들Friendly staff. The accommodation was great. The bathroom was clean, and the lockers were big and had keys. Towels were provided. There was shampoo, body wash, and toilet paper. The kitchen was available for use, and there was a spacious living room to relax in, plus a yard for exercise. Nearby, there's a big supermarket and Al Baik, as well as restaurants and cafes. Highly recommended!

TTONGThe hotel is located in the north of Riyadh, the new district, like the development zones of some cities in China. There will be a king's financial district and many high-rise buildings under construction in the urban area. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the airport. But it is a bit far from the old town. The facilities of the hotel are very good, especially with a bathtub. There are no bathtubs in many international brand hotels in this desert city. The hotel's restaurant is also very good, the food and taste are very much like, the buffet has a lot of precious fruits, value for money.

For that price and that location it’s already worth it.
The hotel has everything, services are good, breakfast has a full variety of dishes and the room I got was perfectly clean and with no issues.
I would 100% consider to book Haven Plaza for my next trip to Riyadh.
