sarahsays____Don’t waste your time looking anywhere else in Hanoi—just book Classyc!
My husband and I travel quite frequently, and we can confidently say this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From start to finish, every detail felt thoughtful, warm, and genuinely exceptional.
We initially booked the Grand Suite for 3 days and 2 nights before heading off on a Ha Long Bay cruise, then returned to Classyc for the remainder of our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with cold towels, welcome drinks, and snacks—such a refreshing and thoughtful touch after traveling.
The service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond. Arthur personally escorted us to our room and even checked in with us later that evening via message to ensure everything was perfect. We were also welcomed with chocolates in the room, which made the experience feel even more personal.
It’s the little touches that truly set this hotel apart. We received complimentary wine vouchers, spa discounts, and consistently warm, attentive service at every interaction. When we returned from Ha Long Bay, it genuinely felt like we were coming home. Walking into our new room to find a heart-shaped chocolate mousse cake and a handwritten welcome-back note from the team was such a thoughtful and memorable surprise
There was also a moment that really reflected the hotel’s integrity and commitment to guest satisfaction. We had booked a signature spa package, not realizing it wasn’t included in the 20% discount promotion. While we didn’t raise any concerns, the staff proactively followed up the next day at breakfast, apologized for the confusion, and extended the discount to us anyway. We were genuinely touched by this gesture—it spoke volumes about how much they care about their guests’ experience.
On our final day, we had some time to spare before our flight. After exploring the city, we returned to the hotel and the staff kindly offered us access to the spa facilities so we could freshen up before heading to the airport—an incredibly thoughtful and appreciated gesture. They also arranged a luxury transfer for us, complete with comfortable seats and even a massage function, which made the journey that much more enjoyable!
As we were leaving, one of the staff members surprised us with a beautiful ceramic wind chime symbolizing positive energy and good luck. It was such a meaningful and heartfelt farewell, and a perfect end to an already unforgettable stay.
A few additional highlights worth mentioning:
- A great breakfast spread with plenty of variety
- A lovely rooftop pool area to unwind
- Reno Bar downstairs, which became one of our favorite spots in Hanoi—fantastic cocktails, delicious bar snacks, a cool retro vibe, and great music. During our visit with some friends they even surprised us with a complimentary tray of shots!
Classyc is more than just a hotel—it’s an experience defined by genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and heartfelt service. We’re already looking forward to our next trip to Hanoi, just so we can stay here again!

Crystal HOUThe hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always looking after our needs and even offering little gifts. The massage was excellent, too. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! 👍🏻 Although there are stairs, the hotel staff kindly helped with our luggage, so it wasn't an issue. However, it might not be suitable for people with mobility difficulties. Overall, the location is very convenient, and the hotel service is outstanding. Highly recommended!

Guest UserWhen we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by a lady at the reception. She took the time to sit down with us and shared recommendations on places to visit and things to do in Hanoi, which was a thoughtful and pleasant start to our stay.
Unfortunately, our first impression of the room quickly changed. As soon as we entered, we noticed that one of the curtain blind hooks had come loose. We brushed it off, thinking it might just be an isolated issue. However, things only got worse as we continued inspecting the room.
In the bathroom, the shower head was loose and water was leaking from the connecting pipe whenever it was turned on. There were also black specks of dirt or dust inside the bathtub, making it feel unclean. The biggest concern, however, was the towel rack. It was literally half-detached from the wall and hanging at a noticeable angle. This wasn't just a maintenance issue—it was a serious safety hazard. If it had fallen on a guest, the consequences could have been severe. It's disappointing that such an obvious issue was overlooked before assigning the room to guests.
Another letdown was that the handheld shower for the bathtub had been removed, leaving only the fixed shower head. It made the bathroom feel incomplete and inconvenient to use. Instead of relaxing after checking in, we found ourselves inspecting the room for faults. It honestly felt as though we were the hotel's maintenance inspectors rather than paying guests.
As it was already close to midnight, we headed down to the reception to report all the issues. A male receptionist attended to us and listened to our concerns. However, the only solution initially offered was to move us to another room the following day. While we understood that it was late at night and room availability might have been limited, we felt some form of compensation was reasonable given the time we had spent dealing with these problems instead of enjoying our stay.
Eventually, the hotel upgraded us to a family room. The room was much more spacious, with a separate living area, comfortable seating and a large bed, which we appreciated. However, another issue soon became apparent—the air-conditioning. Even after setting it to 16°C, the room still felt as though it was around 25°C. It was far from comfortable. In the end, I moved to sleep on the cushions in the living area because there was a ceiling fan overhead, and it was noticeably cooler there than in the bedroom.
To make matters worse, the breakfast selection was rather limited. While the food was fresh, the variety was lacking and the spread felt quite basic. It leaned more towards a simple, healthy breakfast rather than the standard you would expect from a hotel that markets itself as offering a more comfortable or premium experience.
What made the experience even more disappointing was that this hotel had a **5-star rating on Trip.com**, which gave us high expectations before booking. Based on the reviews and rating, we expected a well-maintained room, comfortable facilities and a pleasant stay. Instead, what we experienced was the complete opposite. The numerous maintenance issues, safety concerns, poor air-conditioning and average breakfast simply did not reflect the quality that a highly rated hotel should provide.
Overall, while the staff were polite and welcoming, the poor maintenance of the rooms, lack of attention to detail and underwhelming facilities made our stay disappointing. The hotel certainly did not live up to the expectations created by its 5-star rating on Trip.com. Unless significant improvements are made, I would recommend thinking twice before booking this hotel.

Guest UserVictor Metropolis lakeside hotel & rooftop bar is a stunning architectural masterpiece blending mid-century modern design with sustainable luxury, offering breathtaking views of the lake and skyline. Our room was beautiful, modern and large, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that framed the sunset perfectly. The rooftop bar served craft cocktails with locally sourced ingredients, and the terrace was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The staff was exceptionally attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. We especially loved the complimentary breakfast featuring local delicacies—a delightful start to each day.

OMG, i feel like this hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed so far. I need to shout out to especially the staff, omg, they are so friendly and the best. They can speak proper English and very helpful. They are just one text or call away whenever you need help. My family and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights at the family room. The room is a bit smaller than I expected but it is very clean and has all the necessary things for your trip. The brekfast is nice as well. I am personally grateful to Jimmy, Tam and John for all the help. When I come back to Hanoi, this is gonna be the place I will be staying again.

Great destination. Keep up the great travels.🏨 22Land Residence Hotel & Spa Hanoi — A Hidden Gem with Local Soul
The Vibe:
If you're the type of traveler who wants to feel Hanoi rather than just sleep in it, this place hits differently. Tucked in the Cầu Giấy area (Nguyễn Đình Hoàn Street), it's not smack in the Old Quarter chaos — and honestly? That's the pro move. You get actual sleep, real space, and a taste of how locals live, while still being a quick Grab ride from all the action.
What I Loved:
🛏️ The Rooms Are Actually Spacious
Most Hanoi hotels in the Old Quarter feel like glorified closets. Here? My room was around 30m² with a legit balcony, city views, and — crucially — soundproofing that actually works. After a full day of motorbike dodging and street food hunting, coming back to a quiet room with a comfy bed and proper air-con felt like a luxury I didn't know I needed.
💆 The Spa & Sauna Are Non-Negotiable
Here's my hot take: book a massage for your first evening. You've probably just flown in, your legs are jelly from the plane, and your body clock is screaming. The in-house spa and sauna will reset you. I did a steam session followed by a massage and woke up the next day actually feeling human. Way better value than standalone spas in the tourist zone.
🍳 Breakfast That Doesn't Suck:
Free breakfast buffet with a mix of Western and Vietnamese options. Pro tip: skip the generic eggs and go for the phở or bánh mì station. Starting your day with a proper Vietnamese breakfast sets the tone for food adventures later.
The Photos Tell the Real Story
Your shots say a lot — the street-level coffee culture, the temple visits, the lakeside walks (that looks like West Lake or Hoàn Kiếm!), and that modern glass tower peeking through the trees. This hotel puts you close enough to all of that without the Old Quarter price tag or noise tax.
Pro Tips from Someone Who's Been There:
1. Getting Around: Download Grab before you land. The hotel is about 20 mins by bus to the Old Quarter/Hoàn Kiếm Lake area, but a Grab bike is cheap, fast, and honestly part of the Hanoi experience.
2. Airport Transfer: The hotel offers paid airport shuttle, but if you're arriving during off-peak hours, a Grab from Noi Bai Airport is around $10-15 and door-to-door. During rush hour? Take the hotel shuttle or book in advance.
3. The Gym is Small But Mighty: Don't expect a full fitness center, but it's got the basics. I used it at 6 AM before the heat hit, and had it to myself. Perfect for working off all that bún chả.
4. Explore Cầu Giấy: Everyone rushes to the Old Quarter, but the neighborhood around the hotel has legit local eats. Walk 5 minutes and you'll find street stalls where nobody speaks English and the food is chef's kiss.
5. Soundproofing is Real: If you're a light sleeper, request a higher floor room away from the street. The hotel does a great job with noise, but Hanoi is Hanoi — higher is quieter.
The Honest Truth:
Is it perfect? No. It's not in the postcard-perfect Old Quarter, and if you want to stumble out of your hotel straight into night markets, this isn't that. But if you want space, quiet, a legit spa, and way better value for money — plus easy access to everything via cheap rides — this is your spot.
The staff were warm, the rooms were clean and modern, and after three days of exploring temples, lakes, coffee shops, and hidden alleys, I genuinely looked forward to coming ”home” here.
Would I stay again? In a heartbeat. Especially if I'm staying more than a night or two and want to actually rest between adventures.
Safe travels and eat all the bánh cuốn! 🍜

Stayed at Hoa Hoang Hotel for 3 weeks.
Service:
1. The front desk receptionist, Nga, is helpful, patient, and polite. She is always cheerful and attentive, even while handling calls and assisting other guests. She addressed my concerns clearly, answered all my questions, and is very pleasant to communicate with.
2. Breakfast buffet: staff is always on their feet. I see there’s two main servers, sometimes a third one. They’re very focused but it’s also because they have a lot of tasks - prep, cook, clean, replenish and clear all the dining tables. The tables are not always wiped down, but if you ask, they will address it immediately. Two weeks in, they hired a fourth server which was nice because tables were cleared and cleaned faster. There were a variety of food options with a few soup dishes that rotated each day. They serve mainly carbs and didn’t have many vegetarian options and not a lot of protein in general. They had breakfast chits that we would have to collect from the front desk each day and hand-in to the breakfast staff, they’re very on top of collecting the chits.
3. Room service: We never ordered food to the room. For a few nights, we did order dinner (rice, meat and a veggie dish). They can make anything you ask for either for lunch or dinner. If you don’t feel like going out, their cooking is quite tasty. We’d asked for new towels daily, our 2 water bottles, toilet paper and to empty our garage. We would ask to change or bedding every few days.
4. Rooms 614/615: 614 is the superior twin room and 615 is the superior queen room. My mom stayed in room 614 and my husband stayed in room 615 while I went back and forth. Furniture and flooring was exactly like in the photo online. Both rooms had working air conditioner and a ceiling fan and working mini fridge. TV in the rooms were not a SMART TV but we didn’t mind. The room cost the same although I don’t think room 615 is as nice as 614 since the washroom in 615 felt a bit older (the trimming had more mold and ceiling height was low). My husband who is 5 feet 8 inches (172 cm) would need to bow down to wash his head. Toilets flushed well in both rooms and water pressure was strong. There were tiny ants in both washroom floors and counters but it is Vietnam, we accepted it. Since it was not filled with them, it was not a concern. Beddings and towels are OKAY (meaning it was a pass for us) Some had light stains and tiny rips but it didn’t feel disgusting.
5. Cost: It was about $36 CAD after fees and taxes for each room, I booked a few nights online and a few nights in person which worked out to be around the same price after the conversion. Depending on the website promo, you may be able to get a better price per night online.
6. Location: calling for a taxi, grab, xanh sm takes a tiny bit of time because they’re on a one way street. But it’s walking distance to a park which is great!
Overall rating 3.7, I would say it is like a Best Western hotels/suites in Canada. Service and staff 4 star, building and rooms 3.5 star.
According to google, they are a 3 star hotel and I would agree. I would recommend a couple and family to stay. And I would return.

용용이에요I was quite worried at first because there were no reviews for this hotel. However, it was a decent hotel overall. If I had to point out an issue, it was that the room had been cleaned despite me explicitly stating I did not want it cleaned, and my toothbrush was missing. I reported this to Trip.com immediately, and it seems the matter was resolved reasonably well. To be honest, I would like to come back; the facilities are good, and everything else is fine. It seems okay because it is new. I do want to visit again. The breakfast is just average, so I recommend going out to eat nearby instead.

Sofda HdzI noticed almost imperceptible sweat stains on the pillow. The shampoo and shower gel bottles were almost empty. The air conditioning had a musty smell. However, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was also good. The taxi service was reasonably priced, even cheaper than Grab, but the SIM card was much more expensive than what you could buy in the city. The owner is very friendly.
