We had booked a private double room and I was amazed at the size of it. I was happy that it was Japanese style. Very comfortable bed, table in case you want to have a picnic in the room from Seven Eleven :) and bathroom facilities very clean. Also you have a free drink included with your stay - alcoholic or non alcoholic (we have not used ours though). The common parts of the hostel are so dark that it can give an impression it is not so clean, but to be honest I have not really checked. It is a little hidden and might be difficult to find.

A little walk, but there is a big shopping street in the Asahikawa River. It is also within walking distance from Asahikawa Station. There is a small Okonomiyaki shop next to it when crossing the ramen shop, convenience store and crosswalk. There is a spot where you can see the night view in less than 30 minutes by car.

The location is very convenient, not far from JR Yuanshao Station, one stop to Sannomiya, opposite Daimaru Department Store, 711, next to Nanjing. The room is small, but clean and hygienic, standard air purifier, no bathtub, shower equipment is very good. The lobby and breakfast room are on the second floor, the breakfast is not very rich, and the overall satisfaction is very good!

Room and bed much larger than expected for a solo traveller like me at such a bargain. Vintage-style design with elements of clock faces seen throughout the hotel. I especially like how they use clock faces and clock arms to represent the floors the elevators are at. Local is convenient, close to the Sannomiya Subway station. The overall experience was great and I would consider booking this again if I had the chance to return to Kobe.

The sound insulation is a bit poor, so light sleepers should be careful.
The location is really good. When I arrived on the first day, I followed the navigation and it was a bit circuitous. But after I left boldly the next day, I felt that it was convenient. After exiting the hotel, turn left and go straight ahead for 2-3 intersections. When you reach an elevated intersection (picture), turn right and you will find the Itakyu Department Store, the busiest place at Sannomiya Station.
Or don’t turn right and walk boldly forward, which is Daimaru Department Store. The Daimaru here looks high-end. The building is so beautiful. Daimaru is very close to America Park.
I walked back and forth on two legs the whole time.

The place runs on central heating system in early April when it is already 20 degrees outside. There's just a tiny window in the room.
Because the temperature in the room is high already, the heater will not run, but given there is no air con, there is literally no air flow in the room.
Had to borrow a fan from reception to deal with it.
The remote unit of the toilet system does not always work too.

I thought again, but the size of the tissue box is easy to use. The small type of square has been hard to get, so it's good to recur. The bath here is directly connected to the Goshobo source, and you can enjoy fresh hot springs more than the head family's Goshobo. There are two private baths like a slightly larger family bath, and it is a system that can be used at any time if it is free without reservation. Since you can use the large communal bath of Goshobo for a certain time in the evening, everyone seems to be going there, and both of these baths were monopolized and unlimited from afternoon to night. GGuest User部屋に露天風呂付き、朝夕部屋食でこの宿を選びました。 この条件としては他のホテルに比べとても安くてお得感がありました。 部屋での食事は工夫されていておいしく、また係りの方も丁寧で良いです。 フロントにはありましたが、部屋にアルコールスプレーが置かれていないのは残念でした。 部屋の露天風呂は大きな開き戸を全開すると天井はありますが露天風呂になります。半露天かな。ラドン温泉水は常時注ぎ込まれており、バスタブは深く広く夫婦と子供2人の4人くらいなら一度に入れるくらいの大きさでとても開放感があります。 部屋にはその浴槽1つのみで、身体の洗い場スペースもあります。 その開放された窓からの景色はすばらしく、川向こうの山の爽やかな緑一面なのでとてもリラックスできます。鴻朧館のHPのトップにある景色そのままでした。 さらに高価格の宿と比較すると設備で高級感は少し劣りますが、有馬の他の宿は街中にあるのでこの景色は臨めないでしょう。 大浴場は行っていませんがコロナ前には小さい缶ビールも無料提供されていました。現在は中止中でした。川沿いに金泉のお風呂もあります。 駅からはシャトルバスがあり、川沿いを少し上ると意外と混んでいるマス釣り場や滝があります。

Ggmsl2018It would take a whole page of details to describe how nice this place is in 2020. I stayed there three times, each time in different rooms, each time perfect. It is just NICE. Location is perfect, quiet yet one stop from Kobe, the neighborhood is romantic like Greenwich Village or Montmartre or a nice place in San Francisco. The little house is very cute, very homey, with a large common space. The staff are incredible. Just rush to stay there before the team get old and change business. For the time being, they are super super master of genuine hospitality. They made me understand what is the pinnacle of a ”guesthouse Japanese style”. There is an elevated railway line running just on the other side of the street. It is not a problem because during the night, there are no trains. I fully recommend this place. GGuest UserI went by car. The parking lot is opposite the multi-storey car park and the inn. It may be a little small if you go by large car. The parking lot on the day of stay can be parked after 10 am. I checked in at 15:00, but I arrived early because it was crowded the day before the Arima Onsen holiday. After taking a walk, I returned to the inn at 14:00. From there, I was allowed to wait for an hour at the front desk. 10 minutes ago, the male staff explained the facilities and emergency exits in the building while saying an extra word that it was a little early. If you are an inn like this, you will serve welcome tea and sweets and entertain you at first, but it may be a shortage of labor. The room had an open-air bath. I was satisfied with the massage chair, but unlike the image I saw in advance, the sheets were laid on the mattress. Did you miss the futon? It was so thin. For dinner, he offered beef and sashimi close to the edge, probably because he was conscious of profitability. The white rice is not sharpened well or it is scalded. The soup stock tastes like the second soup stock, probably because it was taken wrong. When I was sleeping early in the morning, I woke up with the loud sound of dropping the plate in preparation for breakfast.
