"Excellent hotel. The staff are polite and always happy to help with any queries. The rooms are good and spacious. The windows don't open, but in January, even with the AC off, the temperature was comfortable – neither cold nor hot. The ventilation system worked well. We slept great; the mattresses were good and not worn out. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but you won't go hungry. There's a Burger King on the other side of the hotel building. The beach is a 30-minute walk away, and on the way, there's a WTC mall with a McDonald's."

"Overall, it was okay. The first room we were assigned was on the 16th floor and it was incredibly noisy, right below the air conditioning units. I'm not sure why they would put guests there. We called to switch rooms afterwards. I highly recommend asking for a room on a middle floor; the AC noise upstairs is really loud."

"This hotel is quite old, and my room had a musty smell that wasn't very pleasant. The facilities in the room were very retro. The gym, though old, was fairly well-equipped, but people from outside would rent it out for dance practice, and their shouting and yelling were quite disruptive. However, when there's an exhibition or a tourist rush in Abu Dhabi, you don't have many other options, so I just made do for three days. On my first day, I even found stains on the bedsheets, which was just unacceptable. For a hotel under the Millennium name, this standard is really low. I guess it might be an older hotel that's been outsourced."

"I booked the hotel with a discount coupon and still they upgraded me from a studio to apartment suite. The reception and all the staff was amazing and very professional. Dry iron was not functioning well and immediately the crew provided me with a replacement. We enjoyed the sauna, swimming pool with jacuzzi. Our one night stay was enjoyable with a good value for money. Will definitely book the same hotel in the future."

"The hotel is located in the old town area of Abu Dhabi. The room was quite spacious. We arrived around 8 PM and checked in quickly. We were on the twelfth floor, which offered a nice view. It was my first time seeing toilet paper folded into such a cute bow 🎀, so I took a picture. I asked for an extra duvet, but they brought two blankets instead. You have to contact the front desk to get disposable slippers; they weren't in the room initially. Overall, it was clean. There's free parking, which was very convenient. The price was much cheaper than in Dubai, yet the conditions were better and the facilities newer. There are plenty of dining options nearby. Highly recommend!"

"The room was great, and the price was very reasonable. The bathroom was also good. The location is decent, with a Chinese supermarket and a small Chinese restaurant not too far away. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and even upgraded me to a suite for free. It was a really pleasant experience overall."

"Had a very pleasant stay at Mercure Abu Dhabi Downtown, even though it was just for one night. The hotel and rooms felt fresh, modern, and offered great quality for the price. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Nadira in the breakfast restaurant - she is genuinely hospitable and made the morning experience even better with her warm and attentive service. I was also impressed by a couple of details: the AC was completely silent yet very powerful, which made the room extremely comfortable, and the water machine was something I hadn’t seen in other hotels before - a unique and thoughtful touch. Overall, a great value stay with excellent service."

"Location is perfect, right in the city center on corniche, but at the same time, really well located for those needing to move (we were going to Yas island on a daily basis). Supermarket right accross the road, lots of restaurants around, service was perfect with the concierge and security helping us to catch cabs when needed... Recommended."
