"Das Hotel und vor allem die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmerausstattung ist sehr rudimentär und einfach. Die Betten sind durchgelegen und knarzen bei jeder Bewegung sehr laut. Sehr laut war auch die Klimaanlage, so dass sie während der Nacht leider nicht betrieben werden konnte. Für das Duschgel stand einfach eine Flasche auf dem Boden in der Dusche.. Das Frühstück war abwechselungsreich und gut."

"Very clean and well-maintained—both the hotel and the room! Just a heads-up: there’s no aircon, only a fan. It was cool enough for me, but my friend felt it was a bit warm since we visited during summer. The hotel might look a little dated in photos, but in person it’s airy, and doesn’t have any musty smell at all. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the Old Town, with plenty of eateries right next to the hotel. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. For the price I paid, I’d say it’s definitely worth it—especially with free breakfast included! I love the old school key system but it’s super heavy."

"My stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment. The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast. I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria! The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz."

"The hotel is right across the main train station as well as local and regional public transportation services.  There are a lot of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets nearby.  The Old Town can be easily reached on foot or by tram.  My hotel room is very clean and quiet.  5-star from me, highly recommended."

"walkable from Graz train station still very quiet rooms with modern room and bathroom facilities. we stayed in winter and the heating was good but  can not comment on AC. beds were comfortable. breakfast varieties were plenty and overall taste was good. staff was helpful. the city centre was within walking range and tram lines in the city centre were free."

"The hostel is in an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the main train station, making it ideal for an overnight stay if you are travelling early in the morning or looking for accommodation close to the station. It offers many useful services that provide everything you might need. There are two vending machines in the hostel – one with snacks and drinks, and another with various hygiene products such as toiletries and earplugs. The hostel also has a bar where you can enjoy a drink, as well as a coffee machine and hot beverages available at affordable prices. The hostel also offers meals. Breakfast is available for €10–11 and is fairly basic, including several types of cold cuts, cheese, eggs, cereals and muesli, yoghurt, pancakes, jams, hot drinks, coffee, and juices."

"The location is excellent. Walking to everything! The room is all stylish, but not all functional. For a couple of nights sleep will fit, and it is better for one, because things are laying nowhere. 4 shoulders, and all... shelves or closet aren't. No and the tug. Nowhere in the building...)))) The air conditioner is, but even at 18 degrees it doesn't cool. It was hot. The windows are not open as the morning is a rumble of garbage, and the open windows haven't saved. They are in the yard, no air traffic. But the loudest thing is the cleaner of the cart on the floor with a tile, pulling it out of the elevator so that you jump in the room. The metal thunder on the cafe... The thunder bottles in the garbage... In general, it is exactly not a place for sleep. Also, the hotel does not provide him with information that he agreed to move with you to another room and a late check-out... to me the cleaner came twice. The second time I was in the shower and very scared. I have no room for settlement on the code castle so far... The smell of food and the sounds of life of all people will be brought from the balcony as it is a yard with a residential house where residents are living their usual life. In general, the impressions are extremely controversial. The aesthetics of the building, yes, but not comfort."

"Stayed at this hotel for a europa league football fixture.Good location for the ground a 20min walk or regular trams a 2min walk away that also take you into the city centre. Room was very comfortable,tea & coffee making facilities,free safe and wonderful bed.Would highly recommended this hotel.😊"

However, the amenities were quite basic — no coffee, body lotion, or similar items provided. The air conditioning had an unpleasant smell when turned on, suggesting the filter needs cleaning. While the stay was fine overall, the price of over €200 per night felt steep given the no-frills setup, though it was a popular weekend. Ideal if you’re after something simple and clean, but not luxury."
