While the facilities aren't brand new, they are very well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay overall. I was particularly pleased with how spotless the room was and how fresh and clean the bedding felt. The service was warm and attentive, and the front desk was very responsive. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. If some of the older equipment were updated, the experience would be even more perfect. All in all, it offers great value for money, and I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Recently stayed at Hyatt Hotel Canberra and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel strikes a great balance between old-world charm and modern comfort, with the heritage architecture giving the property a unique character that you simply do not get with many newer hotels. The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere throughout the hotel felt calm, professional and relaxing. Staff were welcoming, attentive and genuinely helpful from check-in through to departure, which made the stay seamless. The location is also excellent, particularly for anyone travelling for business, government-related work or simply wanting easy access to Canberra’s key attractions and parliamentary precinct. A standout was the buffet breakfast, which offered a strong variety and quality selection. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and I would happily return when next visiting Canberra.

Excellent value for money! This serviced apartment is incredibly convenient, offering laundry and cooking facilities. It's clean, tidy, and centrally located, making it easy to get around. You can even walk to nearby malls.

The hotel was fancier than I expected it to be! I loved the design -- it reminded me of the Guggenheim in NYC. The room was also nice. I got the most basic room, and it was honestly more luxurious than I'm used to. This is a definite must stay if you're coming through Canberra.

clean room and comfy bed. there are only 2 floors and our room is next to a round about and noise during the day could be quite loud. the hotel decor is not so modern with a bath tub and only a shower screen covering half of it so after showers the bathroom floor is completely wet. breakfast was great and staff at the restaurant were patient and attentive to the needs of customers. hotel staff were helpful and service was good overall except that when we checked out the front desk lady was first reluctant to get staff to check my room but told me if anything is missing from the minibar it will be charged to our card and that we have signed an agreement. of course if we have consumed anything we are happy to pay but we would like the room checked when we are still in the hotel premises rather than being told a day later a dozen drinks have gone missing. I wonder why she did not understand my request. she wasn't rude but what she said could be offensive to some people.

Stayed here for night woth a friend. They had breakfast included with our stay, which was nice. The staff are all really friendly and accommodating. This place is also a short walk to the light rail and other restaurants/cafes around the CBD which was great.

The hotel is located to the north west of the city centre. Though it is a bit far from the city it is quite convenient, there’s a supermarket (woolies) nearby. Parking is difficult but they provide parking for extra fee per night with unlimited in and out. The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and sufficient for our travel purpose to attend an event nearby. I like the double beds (two separate beds) option but this type of room only comes with a disable-friendly bathroom. I wish their double beds are bigger in size and they have a regular bathroom option with a bathtub.

Stayed at Forrest Hotel and Apartments for a work trip and it was a really solid choice. The location was convenient and close to everything I needed, which made getting around Canberra easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough to relax after long work days. Staff were friendly and check-in was straightforward. The apartments have everything you need for a longer stay, especially if you want a bit more space than a standard hotel room. Wi-Fi was reliable, parking was easy, and the overall atmosphere was pretty relaxed. Good value and comfortable for a business stay. Would definitely stay again for work trips.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room, comfortable bed, wifi, aircon and as a bonus they have a buffet breakfast. Great location with on-site parking included and the German pub right next door for dinner within walking distance

For what we paid for a night it was worth it. Reception was friendly upon arrival There was no problem at all checking in It was short and quick at reception and key was handed to us. For short stay I will recommend this Ibis Budget at Canberra. Cheers
