"ibis Gent Centrum St Baafs Kathedraal is a great location oposite Cathedral by its name. It is a very convenience to explore old town on foot from hotel.
Hotel also has a car parking but a bit hectic to get in since it is located in restricted area.
Room is clean and bed is comfortable as per ibis standard.
Staff is very helpful and help us get through the parking."
"The hotel is located on a relatively quiet street, but it's only a 5-minute walk to the light rail station, which is very convenient. However, the hotel is fully self-service, with no front desk, so you can't store luggage. The room is very spacious and has its own kitchen."
"Great accommodation! It's conveniently located near attractions and has a handy kitchenette for cooking. Plus, there's convenient parking just across the street."
"Excellent location, right in the city center. The breakfasts were superb – delicious red fish, various cheeses including brie. A wonderful lady named Serda at the front desk. Her attitude towards guests alone deserves a solid 5-star rating for the hotel. The room is small, but the city is so beautiful that you won't want to stay cooped up inside. There's an outdoor pool at the hotel, so bring your swimsuits!"
"Amaaaaaazing Staff! It is super nice to check in with Arthur, who showed us the basic orientation of Gent and some personal recommendations on where to go (his recommendations are true to his word~ :D)
Room was clean!
There was free water provided
but a fridge would have been such a nice addition!"
"The hotel is very close to the attractions, so you can easily pop back for a rest if you're tired from walking, which is convenient for taking pictures of Ghent by day and night. The hotel is very new, and the rooms are quite small. I'm not sure why the price was so expensive on the day I stayed."
"We had a really nice stay, the room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We only interacted with the front desk during check in and checkout, but they were very friendly. The lobby looks grand. There was free fruits, coffee, and water in the lobby. We felt it was worth the price we paid."
"This hotel, converted from an old military arsenal, is incredibly unique. If you're into architecture, you absolutely can't miss it. The rooftop bar is also super chill. I'll definitely come back next time."
"Unexpectedly good! The hotel is very close to the station. After arriving from Brussels South Station, it's about a five-minute walk to the hotel. The environment is super nice, and there's free bottled water downstairs. The breakfast was amazing, very Western-style. I stayed for three days and had a fantastic experience. It's about a kilometer from the city center and the Bell Tower, a pleasant walk away. The city has shopping areas. There's an ice cream shop downstairs at the hotel that's always busy, and diagonally opposite there's a Chinese supermarket, with Chinese restaurants and noodle shops nearby. It's really great, definitely my top choice for Ghent! The price is reasonable too. The room cards are all pink, super cute and thoughtful. There's a very humorous and attentive man at the front desk. He told me that after a certain time at night, only the back door would be open and the front desk would close. My flight was very early, and he also told me how to check out. His English was excellent!"
"The hotel is situated in a beautiful location in the historic center of Ghent. We had a spacious room, which was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the shower lacked pressure, resulting in a weak stream.
The breakfast was fine, although the breakfast room is not very spacious.
The hotel bar was not busy, making it less inviting.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel; it is a great starting point for a weekend in Ghent."

Great
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, well-organized, and extremely comfortable. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the overall freshness of the space. The location is excellent—convenient, accessible, and close to everything I needed, which made getting around the city very easy. The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, making the entire stay even more pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
HHuanqiuyuzhoulvxingjiaThis hotel was the most impressive one on my trip through the Netherlands, Germany, France, Luxembourg, and Belgium. It's located right in the heart of Ghent's scenic riverfront, a World Heritage site, one of Europe's top ten design hotels, and on the list of the world's top 100 hotels! Staying here, it truly lives up to its reputation. It's incredibly well-designed, opulent, a genuine antique with a strong sense of culture and history. The classic Baroque style is evident, and the furniture and decor are all traditional European. It exudes the luxurious feel of an ancient European palace! The breakfast was also excellent, especially the breakfast restaurant, which has fantastic views!
AAntravelerThe hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The lobby is on the smaller side, but it has a cozy, homey feel, like a family living room. The staff were all very warm and friendly, even helping to heat up food. It's a bit of a distance from the main tourist attractions, but there are plenty of tram options nearby. There are also lots of convenient and tasty restaurants and cafes in the area!
欧欧洲一个人的旅行The location of this store is very good, just near the scenic spot. The service attitude of the staff was excellent. I arrived very late that day, it was already 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, but the staff still received me warmly. It's a mixed-sex house, but it's very quiet and everyone is very well-behaved and orderly. It should be noted that everyone should try to check in as early as possible. If you arrive in the middle of the night, you may not be able to check in, but you will still be allowed to check in. In addition, a little tip for friends like me who are staying in a youth hostel for the first time. This hotel requires you to take down the bed sheet and put it in the lobby when you check out~
HhhorizonExcellent! The decor is stylish, and it's clean and quiet. Although it's not in the city center, public transport is very convenient. Finding a queen-size bed in a standard room in Europe is a huge bonus, needless to say. The long-haired, black-haired female receptionist was very enthusiastic. The only minor downside was the tissue box, which only had about five sheets – I wonder if they forgot to replace it.
GGuest UserGenerally good location as it is right next to the train station (less than 5 minutes walk) and a 20 to 30 minutes walk from the hotel to the tourist spots in the city central (might be a bit of a walk for the elderly). Pretty average room with just a towel but you cant' complain for the price.
The only issue I had was what was mentioned by other visitors, the windows cannot be opened and you are not able to adjust the aircon settings. You will have to talk to the front counter to adjust your room temperature. However, even after adjusting aircon, the room was still stuffy.
GGuest UserNice hotel, in the center on the edge but still easy to reach, parking Friday market just a stone's throw away.
Very spacious room, large bed, mini bar, coffee facility, bathroom with bath and shower, beautiful view of the water.
Friendly staff at reception, less so at breakfast.
Nice breakfast room on the 3rd floor with a view over Ghent and the water.
Breakfast buffet good but not luxurious.
This hotel is definitely recommended!
CCancer1998Generally the cleanliness of lobby floor public areas and room were above average 👍🏻👍🏻
Need to be careful when driving into that expo , ikea and the hotel zone as they located along with each others and shared the same directory board which the indicator bit small you might miss the hotel car park entrance
The front staff he is super friendly and helpful 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I would say the amenities is worth for the price 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
TTravel WWThis hotel has nothing but the front desk. The room is not on the same floor as the front desk. In addition to the excellent location, there is no other recommended price is too low. I don't know how this is listed. Four stars.
GGuest UserThe boss didn't understand English, it was difficult to communicate, and he charged arbitrarily. He changed my double room to a double bed. The location is next to the tram, there is a tram at about 5:00 in the morning, it is very noisy, I can’t sleep
