"Nice designed hotel.
Small but cozy room with a refrigirator.
Close to Luz station.
We stayed 5 nights.
On the second night the a/c failed so we had to change the room.
Than until the rest of our stay we had no hot water and i had to take a shower in a different room.
The staff was very attentive and did their best but when I asked to talk to PR fir a compensatipn i was ignored.
It is not a nice area after dark.
Many homeless people and a lot of garbage in the streets next to the hotel."
"The hotel isn't too far from the airport; an Uber costs about 90 reais, which is quite convenient. I arrived at 10:30 AM and paid an early check-in fee. The elevator is tiny, and the restaurant is also quite small. The room itself isn't small, but the facilities are extremely outdated. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or slippers, only two small sachets of shampoo and some rather smelly soap. There are a few shops nearby, but if you have a decent budget, I really wouldn't recommend staying here.
The last picture shows the waiting area for ride-sharing services at the airport, which might be helpful for anyone staying at the hotel upon arrival."
"Очень понравился отель - прекрасный номер с удобной кроватью, чистый и очень приятно пахнущий. Хорошие завтраки. Расположение удобно тем, кто приезжает на автобусную станцию и дальше от нее куда-то едет. Буквально 50 м вход в метро /автовокзал. Рядом автобусные остановки, добраться куда-то нет проблем. Конечно не центр и количество бомжей рядом напрягается, но не критично. Вечерами на выходах метро дежурит полиция."
"Hotel good for anyone who wants to practice shopping in Bras and surroundings, clean rooms, great shower and very good breakfast with many varieties."
"This was my second stay here and I plan to stay there again!
The quality of the hotel is excellent and, even though it is not in a very quiet neighborhood, the fact that the hotel is set back ensures safety. You can drive in and out of the hotel safely and calmly.
In addition, the hotel is brand new, extremely clean and the staff are very friendly.
Breakfast does not have as many options as larger hotels, but everything is served with great quality, always hot and tasty. There is always natural juices, a variety of fruits, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, sausage and a good variety of breads."
"Not far from the North Convention and Exhibition Center, about 4 kilometers away
Located in the center of the clothing wholesale market, similar to the east gate of Shenzhen before China
Hotel environment is general, the level of dozens of domestic"
"Stop for 1 night, didn't like it!!! No one is happy to us, constant reminders of fines in case of delay of departure. Give a room without window and with one bed instead of two. The area is terrible! Dangerous everywhere. I don't recommend and will not return"
"The hotel is well-located, although the surrounding area has some homeless people. However, I personally love downtown, so it wasn't an issue for me. The receptionists and valets were fantastic, very polite and helpful.
Areas for improvement:
Breakfast: Modest, with a variety of fruits and cakes, but I believe the quality of the products could be improved.
Room: The air conditioning is a bit noisy.
Bathroom: The shower suddenly gets extremely hot, almost scalding!"

Amazing
MMikhail IumashevThe hotel On Melo Alves pleasantly surprised me from the very first moments of my stay. It’s a modern and very cozy accommodation option located in one of the best areas of São Paulo.
I especially liked the atmosphere — calm, comfortable, and stylish at the same time. The rooms are spacious and bright, featuring a contemporary design and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The in-room kitchenette, equipped with appliances and utensils, is particularly convenient, especially for longer visits. Everything was perfectly clean and well maintained.
The location is another major advantage. There are plenty of excellent restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, and Avenida Paulista is within easy walking distance. The neighborhood feels safe and is very pleasant for walking around.
I would also like to highlight the staff — friendly, professional, and always ready to help. You can really feel their attention to guests and their desire to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for convenience, quality, and a great location. I would gladly return again.
II read reviews before choosing hotelsLiked:
• wonderful front desk personel , restaurant staff, waiters/waitresses, baggage handlers, super helpful!
• excellent bed, shower, sheets, towels.
• great breakfast buffet.
Dislike:
• the bathroom sink needs a better aerator on the faucet to control the flow so that it doesn’t spray outside of the sink.
• the water in the pool didn’t seem to be constantly filtered. There were small debris and bugs on top.
GGuest UserThis five-star hotel is located in the relatively safe Vila Olimpia area. The hotel is generally new, and the front desk has an artistic, gallery-like design.
The rooms have a modern and minimalist style. I was surprised that a five-star hotel didn't even provide slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes. However, the complimentary first round of the mini-bar was a nice touch.
The ground floor features a combined Italian restaurant and bar, so you can dine there if you don't feel like going out in the evening.
There's a chef at breakfast who makes omelets and toasts, and he speaks a little Chinese. He was super enthusiastic with his recommendations every day.
The hotel's spa environment is excellent, and the prices are reasonable, though you need to book in advance.
I was also pleasantly surprised that they readily agreed to my request for a late checkout until 1 PM. That was unexpected.
Overall, the location is very convenient, the service is excellent, and it caters to all your dining, drinking, and relaxation needs. It's a very reassuring choice for business travelers who don't want any hassle. (It would be perfect if they provided slippers, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.)
GGuest UserWe stayed for a couple nights as a layover before catching a night. The room was small but perfect. It has big wardrobes so we could put our bags away to make the room feel less messy. The staff at reception were very helpful too, they let us check in early. after a red eye flight that was greatly appreciated! They even have a small shop for any less minute or late night snacks. You could hear the airplanes flying overhead but that was expected with the location. One recommendation would be to put a kettle in the room.
GGuest UserI have lived a few times, the room is spacious and bright, there is a small terrace, the price is super high, near the Paulista shopping mall, convenient transportation, there are many restaurants within 2 kilometers.
LLove Honey holiday & Happy HolidaysI love this hotel. The highlight is the staff, always friendly and welcoming. In addition to being delicious, the breakfast was accompanied by a sensational pianist (Léo Ramos). The size and comfort of the room is another difference. Additionally, hotels use olfactory marketing, taking advantage of aromas that can be smelled before entering the hotel lounge.
GGuest UserI stayed at Wyndham São Paulo Ibirapuera Convention Plaza Hotel twice during my trip (April 3–8 and April 10–11), and overall, this was a very mixed experience. I’m an international traveller so I would say I have my fair share of seeing all sides to a hotel. To be a 4 star hotel and to charge premium rates, I would expect certain things.
Let’s start with the positive to the hotel -
The location is excellent. From the hotel across there is a shopping mall, which makes it extremely convenient for food, shopping, and daily necessities.
• Cleanliness is generally acceptable. Aside from one incident, (on my first night, I found red stain marks which looks like lipstick on my sheets, took a photo and alerted receptionist the next morning for a change of sheets.
• Room size is spacious and comfortable. I stayed in the “ superior room” and the junior suite.
The issues (and they are significant):
1. Misleading room expectations
The room I received looked noticeably older and more worn than the photos online. Doors, bathroom condition, and overall finishing did not match what was advertised. It felt misleading. This hotel definitely need a glow up.
2. Poor service & lack of flexibility
Service was the biggest disappointment.
• Staff were generally not proactive or solution-oriented.
• I made a booking error via Trip.com and tried to adjust the dates. Both the platform and hotel refused to help or offer alternatives.
• Even a simple late check-out request (which I informed them about in advance and was willing to pay for) was declined without much effort to accommodate. I wasn’t also asking for hours just a mere 2 hours so that I can go to the city to pick up some stuff before my long haul 32hours flight.
4. Billing inconsistencies – check your charges carefully
• I was initially charged for 2 minibar items when I only consumed 1. I manage to catch this on time before paying for it.
• Laundry count was incorrect (11 pieces sent, billed for 12). Receipts and explanations were unclear, and I’m still not fully confident everything was billed correctly.
5. Missing basic amenities (unexpected for this level)
• No iron or ironing board available
• No kettle / hot water in the room
• No complimentary drinking water
• Everything must be purchased separately
6. Language barrier for international guests
Not all staff speak English, which can make communication difficult if you’re not Portuguese-speaking.
Overall verdict: This hotel is convenient but not service-oriented.
If you are Brazilian or familiar with local expectations, you may find it acceptable. But as an international traveler, the experience falls short—especially in service, transparency, and attention to detail.
Would I return?
Probably not, unless location is the only priority.
GGuest UserLocal well located, with a pleasant structure.
In the meantime, I had a problem in my room, in which a bluse was swallowed, I tried to contact the government, they opened a call and I had no return from what could have happened to then. Even if it is a bluse with a symbolic value, I believe that this is a serious safety issue.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very conveniently located in the center. Within walking distance of the metro, bus stop. If Sao Paulo is your first stop in Brazil and you are planning a trip around the country, then you should choose this hotel. The bus terminal is 15 minutes away by car. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel, as well as bars and night clubs. An ancient church is 5 minutes walk away, worth seeing. Breakfast at the hotel is very good, they cook deliciously and a lot.
