"The hotel is right next to Chinatown, and the subway station is conveniently located across the street to the left of the hotel's main entrance. If you turn right from the main entrance, you'll find a Southeast Asian food street. It's a fantastic location, just a 7-8 minute walk to attractions like the Old Port, Notre-Dame Basilica, the underground city's fountains, and the Berlin Wall photo spot. What was most surprising was the hotel's Chinese-style decor, and even the food ads in the elevator were in Chinese, which felt very welcoming. We booked a twin room, and it was quite spacious with two comfortable queen-sized beds (1.5m). Some front desk staff speak Chinese, though not always available. Overall, the service was good. The only minor downsides were that the room didn't provide slippers or a kettle, and there was no complimentary bottled water."

"There is an attached restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, which provides a continental breakfast. It costs 11 knives per person (approximately). Then you can choose your own food with milk (cold), morning cereals, bagels, bacon, sausages, yogurt and fruit. You can also order your own breakfast. Good location, 5 minutes walk from Chinatown subway station, 8 minutes walk from Laogang. No extra bed available. There is generation parking service."

"This is the best youth hostel I have been to in the past 20 years. I also stayed at samesun recently, and everything was better than it except breakfast. Clean and comfortable. There is a luxury residential area nearby, close to the metro station. If you arrive by train, it is best to get off at Gare Lucien-L'Allier, which is closer than central. But it is still within walking distance"

"Really enjoyed my time here—the location was excellent and convenient! Monarque The room was well-stocked with all the daily essentials — they even had an iron, a hair dryer, a washing machine, and a dryer, which made our stay so much more convenient. And the room was clean and big! Plus, Monarque — a very famous and delicious French restaurant — is right downstairs. Would definitely recommend!"

"The hotel's location is excellent. Many attractions in the old town are within walking distance, and for those further away, there's a bus stop right outside with the 747 route. However, there's no way to heat water in the room, not even a coffee maker, and the front desk doesn't provide one. The pot of coffee offered by reception each morning is gone before 10 AM. We arrived around 8 AM, and the front desk insisted we couldn't check in until after 4 PM, not even a minute sooner."

Loved the cozy lobby and on-site café. A perfect base for exploring the city—would definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

"The vertical space was ample, and I had a fulfilling day. However, the other guests in nearby rooms were very loud, and the sound echoed through the walls constantly. So, if there are people who don't respect others' privacy, it might be a bit tough to stay here."

"This is exactly the kind of hotel I want to stay at in Montreal. It is located right on a lively street in the Old Town, with many restaurants, cafés, shops, and galleries all within walking distance. You can enjoy strolling around both during the day and in the evening. The hotel is also near the river, where I saw many people jogging and cycling. The room was new, clean, and lovely. Even though there was no front desk, we had no problem communicating with the staff. They were very patient and highly responsive to my requests. I had a great stay and would love to come back."

Hotel is localed nearby to the various attractions within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is within 10-15 minutes from the main train station and highly recommended to stay for ease of exploring the various attractions and breakfast was included."
