"It's good in a budget hotel, near the highway intersection on the edge of the city - convenient transportation and there are many large supermarkets next to it. I didn't expect the room to be quite big. During the epidemic, only breakfast was provided at the front desk. It is understandable that the room was not cleaned. After staying for three days, only myself will be able to keep it clean. The small city is still beautiful - the lake view is beautiful."
"It would be great if they become more flexible for guests who had to leave early due to important reasons such as leaving for an early flight or other out of control situations. We had a hard time requesting for just coffee or hot water from the breakfast area. We explained that we need to leave the hotel at 7am for an early exam. We were not expecting to avail the full breakfast tho since we didn’t have enough time. We only asked if it would be possible to have at least coffee or hot water at least 6:45am. The staff at the reception seemed hesitant to offer a solution and insisted there’s nothing he could do than to wait for the chef until he comes (before 7am). We wouldn’t ask for coffee at the breakfast area if only the coffee maker in the room was clean. Both of the rooms that we occupied had dirty coffee maker."
"We needed a room due to weather conditions and being from out of the area. We were attending my daughter's wedding and had to make some very last minute changes which included my dog. The Hampton Inn was very accommodating. The location was perfect, the food and staff at the Hamptons in Barrie were exceptional and the accommodation was perfect. I suffer from PTSD and having my dear dog with me has helped immensely when staying at a hotel. I was very thankful that I was able to have her there. The staff and other guests loved her as she is a very sociable girl. Thank you for helping me with my last minute dilemma. I must commend all of your staff especially the lady who works preparing for the breakfast rush and doing double duty cleaning rooms. I am sorry I did not get her name. Thank you for a wonder stay.

"The staff were helpful
The bathroom was not clean had to clean the toilet seat
Before I could use it floors were dirty
Had to get a new key card every time I went out "
"Located in downtown Barrie, there are many restaurants and an Asian supermarket nearby. It’s also very close to the lakeside and the GO Train station. I stayed here twice because it’s hard to find such a cost-effective, clean, and comfortable hotel in Toronto. Many hotels in the Toronto area don’t allow you to open the windows, but here you can enjoy fresh air. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.❤️"
"The hotel is quite satisfactory, it should be considered acceptable in Barrie, the price is not very expensive, the parking lot is free, but it should not be enough in peak season, friends who ski in msl can consider it."
"Very quiet, but the location is a bit biased, but driving in this place, so okay. The room is not big. Breakfast included and the quality of the breakfast is affordable, the waiter is very friendly"
"There is free parking, there is a gas station across the road, and a big supermarket after the gas station. There are not many varieties early, you can, you can make waffles and small cakes yourself."

GGuest UserA typical chain hotel with the expected equipment and dimensions of the room. Not all new, but still good in shot. Only breakfast was a little very easy. The price/performance ratio was still good at just under €100.
DDebbie stargrattThe Staff is excellent, polite and friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean! Close to restaurants and entertainment and very quiet! I give this hotel 10 plus! Location is great too. I forgot to mention that breakfast is free and delicious!
