"Very good location in the heart of downtown we don’t have a hard time to find places in downtown,, once that you step out in the hotel you are already in downtown area , very easy access in the bus from the airport and easy walking distance in the metro ,, highly recommended, staff are so friendly and helpful, I will definitely recommend this hotel if you’re planning to visit Montreal,"

"Loved our room but took a while before we were able to check-in. Also, you need to pay for parking. Even if you book for a room for 3 or 4 people, they will only provide 2 water bottles, 2 cups and 2 coffee as per the receptionist on the phone. He wasn’t nice to talk to as well. Overall, I still love our hotel room. The bed was nice and cozy and we had a nice view of the city with the mountain behind it so it was still a good stay."

"Decently great stay. I would come back if I were to solo travel and had to stay somewhere downtown. Pros: - location: central, pretty, accessible, amazing. Local friends were impressed it was in such a central yet “nice” place in the middle of the city. - service: helpful, chill, nice staff. Available even at midnight. - design: fits the Montreal Aesthetic PERFECTLY. Inside old buildin, made modern, yet keeping the most beautiful old features restored. Just being here made it feel like I was staying at a nice place. Cons: - 50CAD is a bit steep for a hostel. But there was a jazz festival and it is Montreal during summer. - the lockers being inside the bottom floor room was a little loud. Easy to use but the noise of the opening doors was annoying - capsule size I am 193cm/6ft4. I did not fully fit inside the capsule. I had to lay “diagonally” and somewhat not fully relaxed. - heat: the “AC” is there but during summer it is not enough. It is doable but if you are sensitive to heat at night it is something to consider. You can always open the capsule doors and it is nice and cool but that is a personal choice. (P.S there is a remote for the TV behind the “cabinet”. If you miss it and accidentally turn on/off the main power of the capsule you may miss it)"

"Room is spacious, clean and location is very good, walkable to lots of attractions, and it’s only 3 mins walk to metro(subway) station."

"The Le Nouvel Hotel was conveniently located, however during our stay we booked 5 rooms, somewhat clean (I did find a long piece of hair in the bathroom that didn’t belong to me), staff friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel was going through renovations without notice, front entrance was blocked so you had to use the rear, load noises at night, restaurant was situated in a conference room with limited signage and no bar. Parking was underneath, confusing and could not accommodate larger vehicles. All in all, there are plenty of other hotels in this area with better facilities and amenities for the price. The hotel should have gave us a discount during arrival due to the unannounced and unexpected hotel renovations. I would not be returning."

"Just 500 meters next to McGill, the front desk is particularly friendly and welcoming, the room is super large, there are kitchen facilities inside, one person feels luxurious, the heating is sufficient in winter, very satisfied"

"Great hotel, clean and well furnished. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a Nespresso machine in the room and a kettle for tea drinkers. Breakfast buffet was amazing, and they offer a la carte option as well. Gym and sauna are available to guests. The hotel is located minutes away from Rue Ste-Catherine, the old town and Gare Centrale. Overall, great experience."

"Clean room, kind staff. Bagels, muffins, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, cereals , and some fruits for breakfast."

"I paid online for the room to avoid getting there and find the hotel sold out. I was scared the hotel wouldn’t take cash for my deposit but they did and refunded on my check out, the location was convenient for me, I would definitely come back here for a longer stay."
