The only downside is that if your room faces the street, you might hear the trams passing by outside."

"The hotel is located quite near to the station (around 5-10mins walk away), but you will have to lift your luggage up a flight of stairs to reach their lobby. The hotel is also located near Basel's tourist attractions. The hotel staff who served us during the check in was super friendly and polite, and guided us to look at the city map. Enjoyed the fact that they served fruits and water at their lobby for guests, as we will always get a drink when we exit/enter the hotel."

"On the first night, due to flight delays, no one was on duty and no one answered the phone, so I had to find another hotel to check in. "Basel is very small, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. This hotel is located on the edge of the city center, making it especially convenient for walking and public transportation. There is a beautiful lady at the front desk, gentle and polite. The room size is probably okay in Europe. Although the facilities are not new, they are very clean. There are capsule coffee in the room and the toiletries are provided by L'Occitane. The hotel is across the road from the Rhine, and there is a street behind the hotel similar to the bustling weekend market."

"Had a wonderful stay at B&B HOTEL Basel! The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and the city centre. The rooms were cozy and quiet, perfect for resting after a long day of travelling around Switzerland. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and the comfortable beds. Great value for money in Basel. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Basel!"

"The room was clean, we have a bunkbed, double bed with a single bunkbed. The toilet is separated, the shower room is very tiny, not much room to move around inside. No hair dryer is provided. There is a small TV in the room where the channels are quite many in France and some in English. Our towels were changed daily and our bed also being done daily during our stay. The hotel is in good location, there is a tram stop nearby, also we can just walk around 15 minutes to the main train station and it was safe during the night and even early morning. The nearest supermarket is COOP and it is around around 5-10 minutes, you can see the COOP office building from the hotel and still need to walk straight from it."
