Hotels near Theater Rigiblick in Zurich

A magnificent place for traveling around Switzerland from Zurich. Very clean and smells good. Premium quality shower amenities. We were offered a room on the 7th floor, where we couldn't hear the parties on the ground floor. Good sound insulation. Also on the 7th floor were a sauna and a gym with scenic windows. The mini-bar in the room was free. It included: water, cola, beer, nuts, and a chocolate bar. Everything was very tasty. Thanks to the staff and the hotel for the warm welcome and excellent service!

Had a great stay at Ruby Mimi Hotel Zurich. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay really comfortable. Everything felt fresh and nicely organized, from the room to the common areas. It’s also very convenient — the location makes it easy to get around, whether you’re exploring the city or heading to nearby attractions. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay, perfect for a short trip!

Its actually quite a walk from Zurich HB if u're travelling with an elderly, but my mother made it. There's actually a bus that you can take to the 'Central' bus stop and walk from there tho googlemap wont route u there coz its relatively a short walk. We stayed here for 1 night on arrival. Very comfortable and friendly staff.

The hotel is very convinient and strategic. Located right next to the Zurich HB station and directly above the Polybanh train (a local attraction of a train to go up to the Zurich University). There's money changer, Starbucks and restaurants on the same stretch of building. Opposite the bridge there is a major hypermart Coop where can get affortable meals, mineral water and daily items. The reception staffs were all very friendly. I requested higher floor facing the train track and the staff reserved for me since I indicated on my booking. There is complementary hot water, tea or coffee available at the lobby. It is a MUST place to stay. Just a small note, if handling heavy luggage on your own, just walk towards behind the Starbucks, there is a door right after the Western Union. The entrance here is only 2 steps, compared to the main front which has more than 10 steps.

Great room which was well-designed with everything we needed. The service was excellent, despite not being staffed or having a reception desk at the property. The self check-in is very easy but unfortunately I had to contact the hotel to receive the information on how to do this as I hadn't received it. Once I'd checked in online I could see that they'd sent me some messages telling me how to do this, but I could only access this information once I'd already checked-in so I'm not sure how I was supposed to see the instructions before then. Thankfully it was easy to contact them and they were very helpful in sending me the information. They were also very speedy in providing extra pillows which we requested when we were there. As well as an improved system for sending the check-in information and additional pillows, extra hangers and hooks/rails to hang towels would be beneficial but these are all minor points. We were very happy with the room and the service we received.

I absolutely do not recommend staying in the east wing. To get there, you have to walk through quite a long tunnel from the main building. The rooms are very small, and the bathroom is super cramped too (if you open the door, you have to close it again to use the toilet because there's no space). The room isn't even big enough for two people to sit down and eat takeout. Furthermore, something I found quite uncomfortable is that the room doesn't have windows that open. I like fresh air, and that makes the atmosphere feel stuffy and dry. When I booked, I didn't check the room type carefully and didn't expect to encounter so many inconveniences. Before checking in, reception told me I could pay extra to switch to a better room, and that there were many large rooms available in the main building that night. (At hotels like InterContinental or Marriott, in situations like this, I usually get a free upgrade). If there are so many rooms available, I don't understand why they don't let you try one without charge. (I'm just giving my opinion; I know the hotel isn't obligated to do so).

The location and cleanliness of the room were excellent. However, there doesn't seem to be a permanent staff member at the hotel, so you need a passcode to enter. This means you must complete the web check-in by the day before your arrival to receive the passcode and room number via email from the hotel. It's absolutely essential not to forget to do the self-check-in beforehand.

Criticism for: Check-in was online only, no staff present. The location is right next to busy roads, including a tram line. Surprisingly, I still slept well. The water in the sink barely drained and would back up to overflowing. The space between the faucet and the sink was far too small. The staff spoke almost no German/Swiss German. Positives: The breakfast staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was good. The location (aside from the roads right next door) is great. You can get into the city very quickly. The room furnishings are modern, and the room layout is well-designed.

hello. accommodation was a 3.5/5. very well could have been a 5/5 though. the location was amazing, right next to the train station and nearby supermarkets. it was rather clean with lovely crisp sheets, and clean surfaces accompanied with a balcony. there was a clothes line provided as-well as washing machines and dryers downstairs in the basement. there was a kitchen with most of the utensils necessary, however points are lost for the lack of cleaning supplies (literally none). we couldn’t clean our dishes…. there was no hand soap in the bathroom, but there was provided shampoo/body wash so not a big deal. there was quite bad water pressure on the showers behalf, and on the final two days of our stay there was no hot water at all, which was quite frustrating (we didn’t contact anyone to help though).  overall it was quite a nice stay and I would definitely recommend this place with some slight improvements.  thankyou

The location was a bit remote. There was a lot of smoking in the house and it smelled bad. The kitchen was lacking in ingredients.
