Hotels near Costco - Tainan in Tainan

Fantastic hotel in a very strategic location. Easy access to Tainan's main attractions. Comfy beds and good air con. Overall outstanding value so I stayed here twice. Amazing views especially at night time from the upper floors. Sadly a pretty average brekky spread with cheap ingredients. Keeping the hot food hot would be a great start before they work on improving the dishes.

A very comfortable stay. The hotel is close to food-gathering spots like Guohua Street, within walking distance, and also quite near attractions like Chihkan Tower and Tainan Railway Station. A popular internet-famous ice cream shop is also nearby. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the bathroom is bright with good water pressure. However, the toilet area itself is indeed very small and narrow. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, willing to assist with services like luggage storage.

This place doesn't have a wet/dry separation, meaning the toilet and shower are in the same area. Also, when you want to shower, make sure to check if there's hot water before taking off your clothes. I experienced having no hot water at first, but then inexplicably it came back halfway through my shower. So that's really the main thing to watch out for. Another thing is that you need to bring your own toothbrush; there are no footlights, small accent lights, etc.

The hotel is centrally located in Tainan, right next to Puji Temple. A Dandan Burger is just a 100-meter walk away, and there are plenty of great food options nearby. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Each floor has only two rooms served by the elevator. Upon checking in, I coincidentally encountered guests in the room opposite mine having a party. It was quite crowded and very loud. If the room across from yours is noisy, you can WhatsApp the host to let them know (this does suggest the soundproofing isn't the best). However, it naturally quieted down once everyone went to bed for the night. By the way, their shampoo smells amazing!

The front desk was served by young ladies, all were very courteous and helpful. They did make sure that you had a pleasant stay. As for hardware, the room was basic but clean. The room was bigger in size than what we expected. Toiletry supplies are limited.

My stay at Yoshi Hotel was pretty good this time. First off, the hotel environment was clean and comfortable overall. The room was well-maintained, and the bed was soft and comfy, allowing me to fully relax. The public areas were also tastefully designed, giving off a cozy yet stylish vibe. The location was convenient, with good amenities nearby, making it easy to dine out or shop. The staff's attitude was also impressive; they were very friendly from check-in to check-out and patiently helped whenever I had questions, which made the overall experience even better. Although some facilities were a bit basic, considering the price, it offered great value for money. Overall, it's a hotel worth recommending, and I'd consider staying again if I have the chance.

You get what you paid for. 16 minutes walk from the train station. Got a room without window so it's a little stuffy. The aircond temperature is centralized so you can only control to have stronger or weaker blast. The toilet ceiling is quite low so basically our head could almost reach the top. Made it feel a little small in space. But otherwise the room is fine.

The Jia Xin Hotel is conveniently located on Hai'an Road, close to Tainan's Garden Night Market, making transportation and parking very easy. The restaurant is also very clean, and a unique highlight is the free late-night snack service. Seating is spacious and comfortable. There's a convenience store right next to the hotel, and inside, you'll find a charming, artsy cafe (open from afternoon until evening). Within a 15-20 minute drive, you can enjoy several famous beef soup places (including Liu Family Beef Hot Pot) and visit historic sites in the West Central District, such as the Grand Guandi Temple, Grand Matsu Temple, and Chihkan Tower.

Pros: The location is convenient, with many landmarks and great food nearby. The staff tried their best to provide assistance within their means. However, there are many other things to note: This place should really be called a motel, not a hotel, as many of its facilities don't meet hotel standards. There's nowhere to sit at the check-in desk, and I had to go to the garage outside just to pack my luggage. They offer luggage storage, but they didn't verify our identity when we picked up our bags. The listing on Trip.com states it was established in 2025, but as the pictures show, it clearly has some history. The hairdryer in the bathroom is a very old model, and it takes a long time for hot water to come out in the shower. The equipment is clearly old, yet the establishment year is listed as less than a year old – shouldn't they be reviewing whether they're providing accurate information? Room cleaning service is only provided after four days, and extra blankets, toothbrushes, or toothpaste all come with additional charges. Most importantly, the soundproofing is genuinely poor. I was woken up several nights by the bar downstairs, with people yelling continuously for over ten minutes. They did proactively offer earplugs, though. Overall, if the accommodation had provided more accurate information and I had been more mentally prepared, it might have been somewhat acceptable. It could be an option for business trips or short, light travels of a day or two. But for this price, there are probably more suitable choices, and if you're looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, you should definitely reconsider.

This hotel operates on a self-check-in basis with no on-site staff, but their responses via Line were incredibly fast, and they were able to assist with everything promptly. I was also able to leave my luggage after check-out (I was told until 3 PM, which worked perfectly for me). The room size wasn't small for one person and was generally clean. It's conveniently located near Shennong Street and the market. While they stated no amenities were provided, there was shampoo and a towel. Just a heads-up that there was no soap, toothbrush, or toothpaste, so bring your own if you need them.
