The room was a bit small, and the bed, at only 1.1 meters wide, was quite narrow. My mom said the white fungus soup at breakfast was delicious. The front desk staff were also very kind, and the lemonade was good. However, the facial tissues in the room were the smallest and thinnest I've ever encountered in any hotel; I needed three just to clean my glasses 👓, which really doesn't match a four-star rating. Plus, the complimentary 'goodnight porridge' promised during booking was never offered."

"An incredibly satisfying stay! I loved the location and their wontons at breakfast. This guesthouse must be the closest one to the south gate of Baotu Spring Park, practically right next to the park wall. It was super convenient for an early morning visit, especially in this heat – just a short walk away. The complimentary spring water in the room was excellent for making tea. Their black tea was also wonderfully sweet. The breakfast spread was quite generous; on our first day, my companion and I devoured three servings of their mini wontons! The seasoned crepes were delicious too, and the fried dough twists were perfectly crispy. They even have rooms with direct views of Baotu Spring Park. The staff were very warm and attentive."

"I visited Jinan with my child and stayed at this hotel, and overall, I'm extremely satisfied! You can really tell the hotel puts a lot of effort into its service. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and there was an unlimited supply of drinking water. The hotel has a small playground and even offers free water gun rentals, which is super family-friendly. The location is excellent. Baotu Spring is just across the intersection, and the free Wulongtan Park is directly opposite the hotel. There are shared bikes right outside for rent, making it incredibly convenient to explore 'Spring City'. The only minor drawback is that the room size is a bit small, but it didn't affect the overall experience. I misread my high-speed train departure time, and the front desk attendant showed great empathy. He quickly arranged a taxi for me, helped with my luggage, and even walked me to the car. These little details were so heartwarming. Just so you know, we made the train at the last minute – quite thrilling! No need to remind me, I was already planning to give you a five-star review. Overall, I'm very pleased and highly recommend this hotel! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time and hope they maintain this level of service."

Its location is a major highlight—just a 5-minute walk to Baotu Spring Scenic Area, and surrounded by shopping districts like Henglong Plaza and Kuanhouli. This makes it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and dining. Stepping out of the hotel lobby, you cross the street and find yourself at the moat promenade. Walking eastward along the promenade, you'll discover a series of springs including Yin Si Spring, Jinhu Spring, Yihu Spring, Wulian Spring, Douya Spring, and Pipa Spring, leading up to Heihu Spring. Further east are Jiunv Spring, Manao Spring, Baishi Spring, and more. In the early morning, you can observe locals collecting spring water to take home for drinking. Adjacent to Baishi Spring is Jiefang Pavilion, and directly opposite Jiefang Pavilion is Kuanhouli. The hotel is approximately 1.3 km from Kuanhouli, about 1.2 km from the southwest gate of Daming Lake, and 500 meters from Wulongtan Park. The musical fountain show at Quanshui Square in the evening is also worth seeing, and it’s just about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. During my three-day trip to Jinan, I walked to all the aforementioned places, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel also has its own parking lot, making it convenient for self-driving guests. The hotel's breakfast buffet was quite rich. The lobby design incorporates elements of Quancheng (Spring City) culture, with water-pattern decorations inspired by springs and warm lighting creating a cozy and elegant atmosphere. The professional service and warm greetings from the staff during check-in made me feel very comfortable, and the front desk attendant even upgraded our room. The guest room's layout was well-designed, and the bedding offered a moderate level of softness. Atour's signature 'Plant' memory foam pillows and thickened mattresses ensured a high-quality sleep. The bathroom's wet and dry separation design was practical and clean, and the toiletries were of good quality. Thoughtful details like smart toilets and high-speed Wi-Fi met the essential needs of modern travelers. As an Atour S series hotel, its cultural added value was particularly outstanding: the 'Zhuju' library in the lobby provided a rich selection of books and complimentary tea, making it an ideal space for a quick rest or work. Plus, you can easily walk to popular pedestrian streets such as Qixingfang, Furong Street, Qushuiting Street, and Wangfu Chizi. The room was clean, and the bedding had no strange odors. The facilities were new, and the front desk staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were also proactive and enthusiastic, greeting guests warmly. Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, blending Chinese and Western options. They even had local specialties like Tianmo and shaobing with meat, which were delicious, especially the crispy shaobing. Since the hotel is relatively new, there was even a discount on restaurant dining, which was a great bonus! We also received a welcome gift upon check-in. Black Tiger Spring, Quancheng Square, Henglong Plaza, and Furong Street Kuanhouli are all just a 10-20 minute walk away. Baotu Spring is right next door, just a short stroll through an alley, and Wulongtan Park is directly across the street. The location is absolutely fantastic for sightseeing; we spent our days exploring the immediate area. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the decor is very new, making for a comfortable stay. The environment is quiet and spotless."

"I was surprised by how close the hotel is to the scenic spots. Wulongtan Park, which is free to enter, is right across the street, and Baotu Spring is next door. It's also not far to ride a bike to Daming Lake or even Qianfo Mountain. In short, the location is very convenient. Although the window faces the street, there's a soundproof wall, so it's not noisy at all. The curtains are also very good at blocking out light. There's a chain Lu cuisine restaurant and a convenience store nearby."

"The executive benefits here are an absolute joke! I bought a hotel package voucher, and specifically called ahead before booking to ask if I could pay extra to upgrade to an executive floor and get a late checkout until 4 PM. I only booked after getting confirmation. I even switched to this InterContinental for the last day of my trip, partly because I had such a great experience at another InterContinental in a provincial capital, so I trusted the brand. However, when I went to the front desk today to confirm my checkout time before heading out, I said I wanted to check out at 3 PM, and they told me no, the latest was 2 PM. They even pulled out a little card to show me the phrase ”subject to availability.” They didn't mention any big events or a sudden surge in tourism these past two days; otherwise, how tight could room availability be on a Monday/Tuesday right after summer vacation? The executive lounge was also incredibly disappointing. With service like this, the hotel still has the audacity to chase after 5-star reviews after checkout. They took every penny they were due, but I never saw a butler, and my requests were directly rejected, with implications that my requests were unreasonable. It's like I'm just a fool who paid extra for a room on a higher floor. P.S. The 2 stars for service are for housekeeping; otherwise, I wouldn't even give one."
