The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. I was going hiking and wouldn't be back in time for check-out, so they kindly extended my check-out time and even brought my luggage to the front desk as I requested. This saved me from having to rush back upstairs to get my bags before catching my train. Much appreciated!

Traveling during the May Day holiday, honestly, this hotel offers great value for money (the price hike wasn't excessive). It's also very clean and has the feel of a classic five-star establishment. There's a fresh scent throughout the hotel, and the rooms seem to have been renovated, so they generally feel quite spick and span. The water pressure is also good. However, the open-plan bathroom doesn't really suit a 5-star hotel (it felt more like a 4-star, similar to an Atour or Ji Hotel).
The location is excellent, just a short walk from the subway. Taxis, however, always refuse to drive all the way in, so you always have to wait by the roadside (though this might just be a habit of Hunan drivers).
Areas for improvement:
1. The soundproofing is really poor, mainly because the door is so thin. You can clearly hear kids running and talking loudly in the hallway.
2. I'd always thought the hotel environment was quite good, but one evening, some obnoxious guy was smoking in the lobby (the front desk didn't intervene). On the last day, another obnoxious guy was smoking in the elevator (this is just down to the guest's poor manners). The night before, when I went to do a spa on the 4th floor of a neighboring hotel, I smelled smoke as soon as I entered the lobby. I even praised my own hotel to my family at the time, only to encounter this the very next day... Though, secondhand smoke really is a common issue in Hunan.
The hotel is located in the commercial podium building at the southwest corner of Jiadun Xintiandi on Wuyi Avenue in the center of Changsha. When you go out, you can see the No. 1 exit of Wuyi Square subway station. Surrounded by Huangxing Pedestrian Street, Wangfujing Department Store, Spring Department Store, IFS International Financial Center and other commercial areas. And it is adjacent to the famous attractions of Orange Island, Du Fu River Pavilion, and Xiangjiang Scenic Belt in Changsha, making shopping, sightseeing, and travel very convenient. The hotel has a building area of 5000 square meters, and all guest rooms are equipped with central air conditioning, customized bedding, bare cotton linen, and high-end hair care. Some room types are equipped with XGIMI projection and 100 inch curtains. Staying here will also provide 10 free and wonderful services. 24-hour butler service, free laundry and drying service, goodnight Congee and a variety of self-help drinks will make your journey full of warmth and joy. The overall design of the hotel is modern and simple, with pleasing colors and a business philosophy of "guest first, attentive service". We sincerely provide guests with "warm, thoughtful, civilized, polite, fast, safe, and standardized" services! Wuyi Square - the city center of Changsha, in this bustling city, our presence is willing to provide a comfortable and fashionable living

The service was excellent, and the room facilities were in great working order and felt very clean. For a hotel in the Wuyi Business District, it was surprisingly quiet. It's perfect for tourists, and they even give out small farewell gifts upon check-out. When I checked in, the staff were also helpful in recommending attractions and restaurants. A truly wonderful stay!
This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel environment is elegant and grand. The room had great natural light, and the decor was simple yet stylish. The cleanliness was absolutely top-notch. The mattress and pillows conformed well to my body, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation, making daily commutes hassle-free. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, and the living experience was comfortable and pleasant. I highly recommend staying here.

I have to rave about their 'Home Inn Noodles'! The freshly made soup noodles for breakfast were absolutely divine and so comforting. The broth was flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly al dente – a wonderful way to start the day, both warming for the stomach and the heart. The laundry service was also incredibly thoughtful! I dropped off my clothes in the evening, and they were delivered back to my room the next morning. The room was clean and tidy, the location was convenient, and the front desk staff were super nice. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Changsha!

Looking at the pictures, I already knew that the place is basic and the toilet located awkwardly. Not a big deal for a short stay. At least I expect a decend sleep, but the mattrass is beyond its expiration date and should be replaced. I really considered just sleeping on the floor because it was so uncomfortable. The internet was unstable and sounds from the corridor infiltrated the room loudly. To say something positive: it's very close the metro station with an easy connection to the touristic centre and the railway station.

Overall, I'm really happy with this hotel!
**Location/Environment:** I specifically chose this location because it's a bit further from IFS, so it's nice and quiet here. You can enjoy breakfast on the 5th-floor terrace, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding with the breeze. It's only a 4-5 minute walk to the subway, making it convenient to get to Orange Island and Wuyi Square. Getting a taxi to Changsha South is also very smooth.
**Service/Cleanliness:** The hotel staff are enthusiastic, and the room was very clean. I asked the front desk to clean the room on the second day, and when I came back in the evening, it was spotless! 😂 They even tidied up my child's stuffed animals!
**Breakfast:** For someone from Guangdong who doesn't eat spicy food, the breakfast selection was a bit limited, as most side dishes had a touch of spice. You can opt for noodles or wontons from the cooking station, or stick to eggs, corn, and pastries.

GGuest UserAt Yijian 6500: In Changsha, I found another definition of 'home.'
The moment I stepped into Yijian 6500, I knew my trip to Changsha would be different because of this hotel. It doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like an old friend I've known for years, who has already prepared everything, just waiting for my return.
From the moment I was greeted at the entrance, 'feeling at home' was no longer just an adjective. The house manager's gentle smile and warm greeting instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. During check-in, a cup of perfectly warm tea was handed to me; that comforting warmth spread from my tongue to my heart. What surprised me even more was that the hotel thoughtfully upgraded my room! This unexpected gesture made any initial feeling of unfamiliarity completely disappear.
The house manager accompanied me throughout, like a dedicated personal butler, meticulously explaining every detail of the room. From how to use the smart devices to the carefully prepared welcome snacks, everything revealed the host's attentiveness. What truly charmed me was the exquisite canvas bag, which not only contained an eye mask and earplugs to help me sleep soundly but was also a gift I could take home! This small gesture was full of human touch. There was even a Rubik's cube personally made by the hotel in the room; after I thoughtfully solved it, I received a coupon for Tea's Express! This clever integration of fun and surprise into the service made me both play and drink, lifting my spirits.
At Yijian 6500, my taste buds were also exquisitely cared for. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks could all be delivered directly to my room. Whether it was a meal to energize me in the morning, delicate refreshments during a lazy afternoon, or a comforting supper late at night, I could enjoy delicious food without leaving my room. This feeling of being so meticulously looked after was truly wonderful.
The house manager also thoughtfully provided us with 'Changsha Food Guide,' 'Changsha Attraction Recommendations,' and 'Trendy Street Play Guide' via WeChat. These guides weren't generic information found online; they were filled with local insider tips and practical advice, allowing us to experience the charm of Changsha more deeply. Coupled with free Wi-Fi and professional travel photography services, the entire stay experience was simply perfect.
Leaving Yijian 6500, my heart was filled with reluctance. Afterward, I checked into the W Hotel, intending to experience the standardized service of an international chain, but the stark contrast felt like night and day. While the W Hotel certainly boasts modernity and luxury, the genuine, warm service at Yijian 6500 is something no standardized process can replicate. In that moment, my only thought was: I really want to go back.
Yijian 6500, you are more than just a hotel; you allowed me to find another definition of 'home' in Changsha. Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable journey.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean overall, and the room was tidied up perfectly. The bedding was neat and odorless, and there were no water stains or smudges in the bathroom, which made me feel very comfortable staying there. All the facilities worked properly; the air conditioning and hot water were both excellent, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The front desk staff were super nice, and both check-in and check-out were very quick. The environment was quiet and not noisy, offering great value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.
KKamuyadeThe hotel's overall environment is quite good. There's a cinema on the fifth floor of the mall next door, and a Cha Yan Yue Se tea shop on the first floor, along with various dining options. The hotel rooms are relatively spacious and tidy, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, which is nice. They offer a complimentary laundry service, which is a thoughtful touch. The hotel also has its own parking lot available for use.
AAixixiThe hotel environment is very good. The hotel is located in the Desqin business district. Next to the night market, the geographical location is very good, parking is also convenient, there are many delicious foods. It is not far from the high-speed rail station and it is very convenient. The room is clean and hygienic. The service attitude of the front desk ladies Jiaojiao and Xiao Liu is good. I like this hotel very much

Lliuwenyu1968Pretty good! The lobby is impressive, and the room is spacious and bright. The bed is comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure and heats up quickly. They provide plenty of bottled water, and the tea set is nice. You can also get eye masks at the front desk. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.
JJames04The location of this hotel and the room quality for the price are amazing! It’s located right next to a metro station which is only one stop away from the central square, and from there you can take another metro line to orange island or to the railway stations - so this is very handy. The hotel is near lots of places to eat/shop, and the view from the hotel is nice. The room was nicely furnished, had automated controls for all of the electronics/curtains, and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was not the most expansive, but was tasty. All of these positive attributes were unfortunately somewhat let down by the service, which although incredibly friendly, was certainly unorganised. To begin with, we arrived at 2:30pm for a 2pm check in time, so that we could go out to explore. Unfortunately, we were told the room was not ready, and that we were to come back in an hour, when it would be ready. Given that we were only staying for one night, this significantly altered our plans - but they did at least allow us to leave our bags. However, upon returning around 4pm, we were told that our room was still not ready. Despite the staff being very friendly, not much of an apology/compensation was given. Therefore, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes in the lobby for the room to be ready. Once we were told to head up, we arrived to a wet floor. Whilst this didn’t take too much longer to dry, it was another inconvenience - and all of these piled up to essentially waste our planned afternoon in Changsha. Unfortunately, there were further issues later that day. We had some laundry to clean+dry, and so decided to make use of the hotel facilities. We were quite happy to load the washing machines ourselves, but after doing so, we were told that they would handle the drying for us - great! However, if we had known how long this process would have taken, we would never have accepted. We initially thought we could come back to collect our clothes 2 hours later - a standard time for 30min wash + drying (dryers were all free at the time) - so we returned at about 7pm. However, it was clear that they had forgotten about our (or perhaps other customer’s) washing, as they ran to the machines to move things around, and told us it would be another 2 hours to dry, and then we would be able to collect our clothes afterwards from reception. As a result, we decided to head out for the evening, a planning to return later to collect. At about 12pm, we returned from the evening, obviously expecting the drying to be finished (as we were told we could collect it at 9pm). However, after the staff once again ran to the laundry room (clearly having forgotten about them), we were told they were still not ready and that there was a queue. We completely understand that given the size of the hotel, we would potentially have to wait longer - but the fact we were initially told that it would be ready at 9pm is what made this frustrating, and that it seemed very unorganised. As we were leaving the next morning, we had to stay up late to guarantee the drying would be ready, and so it was only past 1am in the morning we received them back (despite the laundry room being empty at 5pm). Overall, whilst the room was nice and the location was great, these issues significantly impacted our stay (especially due to just being there for one night).
BBaochaoxiedianbujialaStayed here during the May Day holiday. Aside from the price, it was a pretty good stay. I had a windowless room located between two hallways. The front desk staff was very welcoming and provided detailed information. The room was clean, and the bathroom had solid walls, not those glass ones, which I really liked. My only question was about the bathroom exhaust fan; there was no sound when I turned on the switch, so I'm not sure if it wasn't working or if it's just a silent model.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, just a short walk to Pozi Street with tons of restaurants and shops nearby, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. The hotel offers free luggage storage, which is a lifesaver after check-out – you don't have to drag your bags around while sightseeing, making it completely stress-free. The rooms are clean and tidy, offering a comfortable stay. This place offers great value for money for travelers and is definitely worth recommending.

GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM! This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely be back!
