This is by far the worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at, and definitely the worst hotel in its class. The elevators require a room card, but the system is old and you have to swipe, not just tap. The first time I tried, it wouldn't work no matter what. When checking in, the staff didn't explain anything. After I checked in, I wanted to do laundry but didn't know which floor the laundry room was on. I then realized the in-room phone wasn't working to call the front desk. I changed my clothes, ready to go directly to the laundry room, only to find out laundry costs money and requires special tokens. I'd have to go down to the first-floor lobby. I didn't want to go to the lobby in my pajamas, so I gave up. I haven't encountered a hotel that charges for laundry in ages; if I had known, I would have done it at my previous hotel. On the second day, I went for breakfast. The restaurant was old and dark, and most of the food was cold, which was really unappetizing. Coming back to the hotel in the evening, I found that my room hadn't been cleaned, and the trash hadn't even been emptied. There wasn't even water in the lobby downstairs, let alone hot drinks. How can a Holiday Inn be this bad? The only good thing is its location. It's right above a subway station, there's a Wei Family Liangpi (cold noodles) downstairs, and it's not far from pedestrian streets and attractions like Zhangyuan.

Decided to visit Tianjin on a whim for some food and fun. Booked this hotel on the train. Atour, as always, delivered consistent quality. The short-haired girl at check-in was friendly and enthusiastic. The location is excellent – right by the subway and a must-try seafood spot. Within walking distance, you'll find Erduoyan, Goubuli, and Zhonglihua, with plenty of places to explore. If you're tired of walking, there's even a tram you can take. Right opposite the hotel entrance is Zhen Sucheng Breakfast, which offers delicious and affordable food.

I booked a room at this hotel for a brief business trip requiring a short stay in the city, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. From convenience and cleanliness to service details, everything was impressive. The entire process, from booking to check-in, was efficient and smooth. The online platform was easy to navigate, and upon arrival, the front desk staff quickly verified my information, completing the check-in in just two or three minutes without any delay to my schedule. During check-in, the staff also proactively asked about my preferred floor and orientation, thoughtfully recommending a high-floor room that was quiet and well-lit. This attention to detail made me feel very comfortable. Upon entering the room, my first impression was ”spotlessly clean.” The sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases were free of stains or wrinkles, soft to the touch, and completely free of any stale odors. The bathroom's vanity, mirror, and toilet were all wiped down to perfection. The individually packaged toiletries were neatly arranged, with a toothbrush set, comb, shower gel, and everything else I needed. Even the shower floor had no standing water, and the anti-slip mat was neatly placed, making it safe to use. The furniture and equipment in the room were also well-maintained; the desk and chairs had no scratches, the air conditioning cooled quickly with minimal noise that wouldn't disturb my rest, the TV signal was clear, and the WiFi connection was stable, more than sufficient for handling work documents temporarily. What impressed me most was the room's soundproofing. Although the hotel is located near a main road in the city center, I could barely hear any traffic noise with the windows closed. Even when people walked in the corridor, there was no noticeable noise disturbance, allowing me to sleep soundly during a short midday nap. Furthermore, the room's lighting design was very thoughtful. The afternoon sun gently filtered through the curtains, not harsh but keeping the room bright, which felt very pleasant. Check-out was equally convenient, with no long waits. The staff also proactively asked about my stay experience, showing warm and attentive service. Overall, this hourly room experience perfectly met my needs for a temporary rest and brief work, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely prioritize this hotel for similar needs in the future and recommend it to friends who require temporary accommodation.

The business suite we booked is very suitable for a family trip. The facilities are relatively complete. Although the hotel is a bit old, there is no problem with overall use. It is also clean. The main thing is that the hotel is located on Binjiang Road Pedestrian Street, with a relatively advantageous geographical location. There is an underground parking lot for parking, which is convenient for driving. Downstairs is Xikai Church.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The room was spotlessly clean, with no strange odors or neglected corners. It had excellent natural light and ventilation, and all the facilities were new and complete. The toiletries provided were also of high quality. The staff were all incredibly gentle and polite, offering thoughtful and attentive service. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, just a short walk away. During holidays, the surrounding area is often subject to traffic control, so taking public transport is definitely the way to go. However, there aren't many staff at the front desk, and their capacity to handle guests is limited. Every time I needed to ask a question or get something done, I had to wait in line, which was quite chaotic and stressful. On the first day, I tried to check in around 3 or 4 PM, but the room was still being cleaned, so I had to wait again. Luckily, they offer luggage storage, and there's a public restroom on the first floor. The room itself is quite spacious, with a small table and a sofa. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, and food delivery is also very convenient, with robots bringing orders right to your room. However, the soundproofing isn't great. I could hear deliveries being made late into the night and the clunky sound of carts rolling over the uneven floor in the hallway.

Booking was smooth, and the early bird discount certainly helped, otherwise, the inflated prices for May Day would have been a deterrent. The location is excellent; I've never stayed in this area before, near the Haihe River and Tianjin Eye. It's close to the Wanghailou Church ⛪️, a few great local restaurants, and within walking distance of the general education exhibition area of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, which made this holiday truly beautiful! The room has character. Relaxing on the sofa in the living room with a hand-drawn map and a Sprite, it was a space that lifted my spirits. The toilet flushing sound was the only minor drawback. The massive TV screen can swivel 180°, and I enjoyed over nine hours of peaceful sleep. The sink faucet requires you to bend down to reach it – a puzzling design choice, as in many hotels 🤔… The hotel readily agreed to an extended stay, which made planning my sightseeing much easier. The breakfast restaurant rarely had a wait, and the table spacing was excellent! The watermelon 🍉 was delicious, and the cookies 🍪 were seriously good.

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is a huge plus – it’s just a 1-minute walk to Hai Guang Si Metro Station on Line 1, surrounded by tons of great restaurants, attractions, and a large Wumart supermarket. The front desk lady had such a warm, healing smile; check-in was efficient and thoughtful, and she even proactively shared local travel tips. The room facilities were comprehensive, with a wet/dry separated bathroom. The shower pressure and temperature were just right, and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and even the coffee was rich and aromatic. There wasn't a single thing to complain about the entire stay. At check-out, they even helped with my luggage. They truly delivered an exceptional 'home away from home' experience. I’ve already recommended it to friends, and I’ll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!

Came to Tianjin for the May Day holiday and stayed at the Tangla Hotel Tianjin. My entire stay here was filled with happiness. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the view from the window was beautiful. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always willing to help. You could truly feel their dedication to service. As the holiday comes to an end, I'm sad to leave, and I hope to stay here again next time I visit Tianjin!
