Hotels near MRT Jingmei Station in Taipei

I specifically chose a hotel near an MRT station for the marathon. This hotel is near Jingmei MRT station, just a 3-minute walk away. There are signs on the first floor, and the hotel is on the third floor. The counter on the third floor looked very elegant and upscale. Since I booked through Ctrip, I got the key and checked in immediately after confirming my ID. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the layout wasn't cold or impersonal when I stepped out of the elevator, but the air felt a bit stuffy. You need a card to press the elevator buttons. The room door lock is a traditional key type, so be careful to double-lock it before going to sleep or leaving the room. Regarding cleanliness, I found a leftover plastic straw sleeve; I hope they can improve on this aspect. The room itself was standard, with everything you'd expect. The only issue was that the TV remote didn't work. I contacted the front desk to check, but it still didn't work. However, I could manually turn it on by pressing the power button on the back. I don't sleep with the TV on, so it didn't bother me. I suggest the hotel provide a spare power button. There's a night market and convenience store within a 3-minute walk of the hotel, which is very convenient. Overall, I'd give it a 90 out of 100. If I participate in another race next year, I'd consider staying here!

You can explore Lehua Night Market in the evening, it's super close, right next door! It's only a 10-minute walk to Dingxi MRT Station, and there are also buses available. The hotel service and environment offer excellent value for money.

Aside from a slight smell of smoke—despite being advertised as a smoke-free environment, the smell of smoke was still overwhelming!—everything else was really good. The breakfast was decent, with vegetables and fruit. I really liked the large bathroom in the room, and they even provided snacks and instant noodles, which was great value!

Very strategic location just beside MRT DingXi station, with nearby 10 minutes walking distance to a large night market, namely LeHua Night Market. There's also 7-11, Family Mart, and McDonald just beside the hostel. The room is clean, and each bed/person has its own locker in the room. The toilet is clean, and they have separated the wet and dry area for the convenience of changing clothes in the dry area. There's also shampoo, liquid bath, and hairdryer provided, while towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers can be purchased separately. The breakfast is included as well for each morning with 5 options available to choose from. They do provide luggage storage services after check out, so you won't need to drag your luggage around. Overall, it is a great experience, and would come back again next time.

The location is excellent, conveniently situated in the city center with easy access to high-speed rail and buses. There are plenty of restaurants and night markets right outside, making transportation easy in all directions. The interior is clean and simple.

Check in lobby is at level 3. Is not a fancy or luxury hotel but the room is clean. Linen are soft. Room cleaning has to make an appointment one day before. The facilities are running down. Location is convenient near red and blue lines. Is about 11mins walk to ximending. The only issue we had was the fire siren went off at 5:30am. The fire brigade and police came after. There is a breakfast spot on the opposite right side corner. Was told the hotel always have the fire alarm. Enjoy your stay!

The location is great, very close to Gongguan and the Shuiyuan Market, which has tons of delicious food. The separate men's and women's restrooms are on the basement level, which had a bit of a musty, damp smell. The bed was nice and big. The hot water pressure was strong. They offer a simple toast breakfast every day. Overall, it's acceptable.

I booked Zhongxin Business Hotel because of the national exams. The environment was clean and comfortable, and it was very close to the exam venue, only a 3-5 minute bike ride away. The hotel also offers luggage storage service. 👍🏻

The room is spacious. It's close to the subway station. I took a direct bus from Taoyuan Airport in the morning to the subway station. The surrounding area is a local residential neighborhood, with many affordable and delicious restaurants. The sink in the room had a slight leak, but it didn't affect my one-night stay. A pleasant surprise was the electric massage chair in the room – it really helped relieve the day's fatigue, and I slept well. When I checked in, the front desk was arranging flowers, and the florist greeted me with a friendly ”Hello!” This warm welcome really brightened my spirits. The Oolong tea bags were delicious! There's also a vegetarian restaurant nearby with good soup.

Traffic problem, far from Taipei Station, at least three MRT trains, although it is the opposite platform, it is always inconvenient, there are seven trains to Xiaobitan, only three shuttles per hour, busy time only four shuttles, inconvenient, but the hotel is very good, the waiter is very good!
