The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Guangzhou South Railway Station, making travel convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, the environment is quiet, and the service is warm and attentive. The facilities are complete. It was a great stay, and I will choose this place again next time!

The front desk service was excellent. The room was very clean and the bed was huge and super comfortable. The subway entrance is right downstairs, making transportation and parking very convenient. There are also many restaurants nearby.

Mercure Guangzhou Beijing Road was the perfect base for our trip. The location is unbeatable right in the heart of the pedestrian street with the Ancient Rd., Dao Temple and the Metro exit just a few minutes walk away we enjoyed morning dim sum at nearby Dodoo, Jew and Wonjo restaurant then wandered to show me an island and Yong Ching bang in the evening. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the staff were warm and helpful. Everything we wanted was within walking distance making sightseeing and eating incredibly easy. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommended to anyone visiting Guangzhou.

Pros: 1. The hotel's location is excellent, right downstairs from Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. Across the street is the Grand Buddha Temple, and you can see a panoramic view of it from the hotel lobby. 2. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks are provided. The late-night snacks include traditional sweet soups, which are quite good. 3. Since the hotel is relatively new, it features smart toilets and high-speed hair dryers, making for a more comfortable stay. 4. The front desk staff are quite friendly and promptly address any issues raised. 5. There's a laundry room, which is very convenient. Cons: 1. Although we booked a room with an outdoor window, the view outside was of a parking lot. We could hear the electronic announcements when cars were leaving. Also, it was very close to the building opposite, so there was practically no natural light. 2. The hotel occupies middle floors of an office building, so you have to use the office building's elevators. Sometimes, during peak hours, waiting for the elevator can take quite a while. We even encountered an elevator malfunction where it would only go up and not down, forcing us to go to the top floor and then come back down. 3. The hotel's ventilation is not ideal. 4. Noise insulation issues: While we couldn't hear conversations from next door, the outdoor noise was very loud. We constantly heard a loud buzzing sound at night. Furthermore, the indoor bathroom lacks proper sound insulation, so any use of water creates a lot of noise.

High-floor view, the room felt neat and clean, with complete facilities. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and find great food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, leading to a wonderful overall stay with great value for money. The lobby has a great atmosphere and is equipped with all essential amenities, close to numerous dining and shopping options. The hotel provides breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks. Right across from the hotel is Beijing Road, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Peasant Movement Institute Station (or equivalent local station) or Gongyuanqian Metro Station, which feature Line 1 and Line 2. Getting to places frequented by seniors and kids—like the Guangzhou Oceanarium, zoo, children's park, and Pearl River night cruise—is extremely convenient. The easy commute makes sightseeing much less exhausting. The decision-making and arrangements were spot-on. We stayed for two nights, and the evening staff promptly replenished bottled water and other supplies. They also allowed us to store our luggage for three days. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time, especially since I've already stored my luggage and booked again.

My recent stay at Meihao Lizhi was a truly delightful surprise. I have to give a special shoutout to Elena—her service was exceptionally attentive, she was warm and professional, efficient with requests, and responded very quickly without being overbearing. She had the boundaries just right. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and made for a great night's sleep, and the bathroom facilities were top-notch. What really won me over was the heartwarming late-night bowl of noodles. Coming back exhausted after a whole day out and having a hot bowl of noodles instantly helped me unwind and washed away all the travel fatigue. The hotel also offers afternoon tea, and the overall amenities are very comprehensive, making it ideal for both business trips and vacations. With solid hardware and warm, heartfelt service, I've already bookmarked this place and will definitely make it my top choice next time I'm in town. Highly recommended to everyone!

My child had such a wonderful experience at the Mandarin Oriental Sanya that they decided to visit all Mandarin Oriental hotels in China, starting with Guangzhou. Upon check-in, we found leftover takeaway packaging from the previous guest in our room. However, the hotel's housekeeping staff responded immediately, presented a small panda toy for my child in the family room, and cleaned thoroughly afterward, providing an ample supply of amenities. The room design is beautiful, though the floor-to-ceiling window view wasn't particularly scenic (lots of tall, drab buildings). My child said it looked like the clouds were learning to shapeshift when viewed from the bed. The gym is exceptionally well-maintained, and the pool water temperature is very comfortable. As soon as you exit the pool, an attendant offers a towel – a service experience not even found at the Four Seasons. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, which is great because too many choices can be overwhelming. I highly recommend the freshly made congee and French toast. By the way, there's an incredibly delicious Bing Sheng restaurant right across the street. And, don't go to Lei Garden; it's terrible.

The location is superb, just over 100 meters from Nanzhou subway station, making it very convenient to get to Pazhou Exhibition Center. The room was cleaned thoroughly, and the soundproofing was good. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The hotel has a self-service laundry room, which is very practical for business travelers. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and the prices are reasonable, making it very suitable for business trips.

Pros: _ Location: very good location, right next to Gongyuandian metro. You can use this to access almost anywhere in Guangzhou. _ Cleanliness: the apartment is fairly newly renovated with 2 bedroom & 1 bath, well maintained, so it's quite suitable for big group. _ Pricing: we got it at a very good price for a group of 3 adults & 2 children. I think it's worth every penny. _ Convenience: lift is right up to the apartment, so children can travel without any problem. _ Friendliness: the reception is very welcome and helpful. They let us check out late with small charge. Cons: _ The building exterior is quite old. The lift is also not clean. _ The entrance is a bit difficult to find. You need to walk to the entrance behind the building to access to floor 18, where the reception is located. If you go to any other lift, they only take you to floor 17, then you have to walk up 1 floor. Overall if you are a big group who is looking to find a reasonable stay in Guangzhou, I highly recommend this place. You get what you pay for.

Was disappointed when I called for the airport pick up as the lady said No English! How am I supposed to book if you don't speak English? This was the 1st hurdle. 2nd hurdle was room TV wasn't working and how would I called for help if they don't speak English right? 3rd hurdle was breakfast from 7-9am. My flight was 8.30am They arranged for my transfer at 5am. So, do I get to pack my brekkie? Lady said NO So, I argued and then she showed me a papervag of juice and buns. This hotel is outdated from the outlook and was originally called Super 8 hotel Bedroom slippers was not new but rather recycled plastic slippers. Looks so unhygienic to use . Booked this place due to their airport pick up/drop off that's all. I'd rather book another hotel if you asked me.
