"This is my go-to place whenever I vacation in Xiamen! It's within walking distance of popular attractions like Xiamen University and Shapowei, and there's a large shopping mall right downstairs, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. I'm also very happy with the room. The air conditioning works great, and it's a floor-to-ceiling glass room with a wide-open sea view. Plus, there's a bathtub so you can soak while enjoying the ocean view – I never thought I'd experience something straight out of a TV show! 🤭 I'm over the moon! 🥳 It's a great网红民宿 (influencer-popular B&B) for couples. I'll definitely book it again next time I'm in Xiamen."

"I actually booked Niaodao Seaview Chaosu by accident, as my wife has had bad experiences with many seemingly beautiful guesthouses from photos. However, after staying in a suite at Niaodao for three nights, my wife was satisfied, and with her happy, I was naturally at ease 😄. To be fair, the service attitude was top-notch, and the hygiene was excellent. We had unlimited complimentary mineral water daily. The lobby (on the 7th floor) has a dedicated smoking room with good ventilation. Gulangyu Island is right across from us, offering a fantastic first-person view from the window. It was especially charming and unique during the stormy weather we experienced 🤫. If guests are returning from Gulangyu Island after 6 PM, they can take the Xiamen Ferry, which is directly opposite the hotel, just through an underpass. (Note: In the morning, ferries to Gulangyu only depart from Dongdu). Right outside Niaodao's entrance is the start of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. You absolutely cannot say the location isn't good, can you? The 24th floor of this building houses the tallest Pizza Hut in China 😄. On the first floor, there's a 24-hour supermarket. To the left of the hotel entrance, there's a Commue Western restaurant and bar. If you don't feel like wandering around at night, you can just grab a cocktail here. There's also a Starbucks, and across the street is Heping Wharf, where you can take various Lujiang River cruises and night tours. There's also a travel agency on the first floor where you can inquire about tours to nearby attractions like the Tulou. The double-decker tourist bus stop is also right outside. A taxi to Dongdu Wharf takes 15 minutes. A taxi to the cable car takes 15 minutes. A taxi to the airport takes 30 minutes. Didn't run into Huang Bo, nor the beautiful proprietress. They are cousins."

"Found a gem for our family trip to Xiamen! The Weishang Garden Hotel's family room is simply divine. It's in a prime location on Zhongshan Road, with a charming Nanyang retro vibe. Stepping out, you're surrounded by street food and shopping districts. It's super close to the ferry terminal and the Bashi market, saving us a lot of travel time. The room is incredibly spacious, bursting with a playful, child-friendly atmosphere. My kids instantly fell in love with the bunk bed with a slide, and the safety rails gave us parents peace of mind. There were dolls, building blocks, and a small tent – enough to keep the little ones entertained for half the day, meaning we didn't have to keep an eye on them constantly. The room also features a private little balcony, and the faint scent of tea in the corridor made us feel instantly relaxed upon entering. The entire room is equipped with smart devices, and the toiletries were clean and high-quality. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the floor is covered with soft mats, so we didn't have to worry about the kids bumping themselves while running barefoot. Robot delivery is available 24/7, and the concierge was incredibly responsive to our requests. The bedding was soft, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. It's spacious and comfortable enough for a family of three or even families with two children. Our kids were already asking to come back next time we left. This is definitely our top choice for family accommodation!"

"Originally, I wanted to find a good homestay to live in and take pictures, but I was directly powdered by this French small courtyard circle. The beige building, black arches, the turquoise swimming pool surrounded by hydrangeas and palm trees, even the wind has a lazy taste. Any corner is like a scene from a movie, I sit in the yard all afternoon, doing nothing, and feel like the whole person is cured."

"This B&B is absolutely beautiful! It's very close to the sea, and the rooms are wonderfully quiet – you can't hear any outside noise. The view from the window, with trees and the ocean, is incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. The reception service was exceptionally nice; even before I stepped onto the B&B's doorstep, a staff member rushed out to help us with our luggage. Every single staff member (including the auntie who cleaned the rooms!) was soft-spoken and very gentle. The breakfast was also delicious! I booked for three nights, and every morning I woke up to a different breakfast spread. You can tell this B&B genuinely takes pride in itself and truly cares about every guest who stays here! Highly recommend!!"

"This was a truly delightful stay, and I felt the warmth of the service from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff were professional and friendly, making the check-in process efficient and smooth, which was a great relief. I especially want to commend the housekeeping team; they were incredibly meticulous, keeping the room spotlessly clean and tidy. They even paid attention to and accommodated my personal habits when tidying the room, which made for a very comfortable stay. The room's view was the biggest surprise. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic city views. In the evening, I was able to catch a stunning sunset, and the entire room was bathed in soft light – simply a magnificent sight. Additionally, the hotel's flexibility in allowing a late checkout until 2 PM made my schedule much more relaxed. Overall, this is a hotel that combines quality with genuine warmth, and I highly recommend it."

"Fantastic location. Very convenient. Surrounded by all kinds of shops. Our room has a very good view and is quiet partly because the room is well insulated. Easy to get transports - very close to the Xiamen Railway station and metro station. We took a public taxi from the hotel to the airport T3; it was less than 30¥. The room was clean and all the facilities worked well. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful despite us not understanding mandarin. The hotel signboard can be improved. It should also include the hotel name in Roman alphabet to help foreigners, who do not read mandarin. We enjoyed our stay very much and are looking forward to coming back again. Thank you."
