"The hotel was indeed under renovation. When I went there, they were still working on the ceiling in the lobby. The elevator was a bit shaky, I don’t know if it was because it was also under renovation. The room space was okay, a little cramped for two people. There was a smell because of the new renovation, but it was fine to let it out after opening the window for half a day."

"We stayed for three nights as a family and found it very comfortable.
We appreciated the clean facilities, quiet surroundings, and delicious breakfast.
We caused some trouble when leaving the parking lot because we didn't understand the payment or exit procedure.
The only disappointment was that there was no refrigerator."

"The hotel chain is all located near train station and we trust the brand. That's the reason we chose this hotel. This one is about 10 minutes walk from Mainz train station. Very easy for travelling. It's also within walking distance to the old town where there are few Christmas markets - all about 20 minutes' walk.
The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom has enough hooks and rails for towels and clothes.
Staff are very friendly. In general, the Germans are hospitable and friendly to foreigners."

"Staff was friendly and accommodating, the place is an easy walk from Mainz Hbf so train and local amenities are near, room was warm, I had a queen room but they use two singles put together which I felt was strange as you can only really sleep on one side but it was comfortable to sleep, room isn't quiet, the trains are near the hotel so early morning it can be noisy if you are a light sleeper, you can hear the people in the rooms next to you, I had a guy with the deepest snore next to me it was like the room was vibrating, if you are a deep sleeper then its perfect otherwise light sleepers might have trouble."

"The room is relatively new and cost-effective, but also small. After checking in, we found out that many rooms on the first floor were being renovated, so we had to go through the renovated rooms to get to our room. There was no kettle."

We were assigned a room on the other side of the street, which required going up to the second floor from the lobby, crossing an elevated walkway, and then walking all the way to the end of the corridor. GGuest UserThere is a bus stop right in front and across from the hotel. It was about half a hop and two stops away, so it was easy to move with a suitcase. It takes about 7 minutes to walk. The room was clean and meticulously organized every day, so I felt good when I left and came back.
I stayed in a 3-person room, and although the bed was small, I rested comfortably in my own bed. The front desk staff were always very friendly too!

There is no air conditioning in the room, which is a flaw for people who are afraid of heat.

GGuest UserThe hotel was aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, with good services including breakfast and complimentary snacks. Staff were extremely helpful and polite, and a member of staff was on hand at reception to check me in even though I arrived late in the evening. My room was huge and amazing value, and was set up for me beautifully. The location, while not central in Mainz, was reasonably well-connected to the city centre via public transport -- the bus stop was a ten-minute walk downhill from the hotel through very pretty neighbourhoods with regional charm.
