"This hotel is in a good location. It is close to Queen’s University, the Ulster Museum and many local restaurants. Transport is also convenient with bus and train stops nearby. The room was nice- clean and functional. Staff were all very helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of high quality options. I would choose this hotel again if staying in Belfast."
"We arrived hours earlier than check-in time and were allowed to park our car in the underground garage. This allowed us to take a bus or walk the 30 mins into the city centre,
When we did check-in we were made up with the size and space available to us, 2 bedrooms, large dining table and good size kitchen area, it was also great to see lovely body wash and shampoo to use in the bathroom, everywhere was clean, we stayed 4 nts and the cleaner came in a tidied and change towels for us.
The tesco shoo was handy for picking up some pizzas and wine, saving us some money when on a tight budget, we would definitely stay again,"
"Loved the self-check in. I booked a cheaper room which did come with the smell of the nearby fast food place and a loud humming of an aircon (?) outside. I had another issue in my room but I alerted the management to it. Other than that, the room had a nice size and a nice bathroom. Oh, also wish they had ceramic cups for hot drinks and not just disposable ones (I don’t like pouring boiling water into single use plastic-laden cups)."
"Great hotel for staying in Belfast. Great central location for activities, restaurants, and pubs. Staff was very hospitable. Rooms were super small but very clean and well stocked. Short walk from many Belfast sites. Will definitely recommend to friends and family, and will consider returning in the future."
"Hygiene: The hygiene was pretty good; the towels and sheets were clean. However, there was no place to hang towels.
Environment: The surrounding area is excellent, right in the city center. The airport shuttle bus stop is just a few hundred meters away.
Service: The service was neither good nor bad. Staff members weren't at the front desk; they were hiding in the back. Breakfast wasn't provided, and the room rate was incredibly expensive recently, at 1200 RMB a night.
Facilities: There was no hairdryer, and the room lighting was very dim, though the room itself was quite spacious."
"A lovely hotel in a great location with friendly and helpful staff —- however there were so many small negatives that the overall experience was disappointing. The lift was not in service so had to use the stairs. Thankfully not a high rise and I was on the 1st floor. A huge, well decorated room was ruined by air conditioning and extraction units right outside the window which made for a loud and restless night. The frosted glass on the windows left the room dull. Black mold in the bathroom, large crack on the wall and dirty carpets did not help. Neither did the badly made bed and stiff coarse dressing gowns, which I had to look for and found squashed into a shelf in the wardrobe - and one had a large black stain on it. WiFi was very good but there were no usb / type C charging ports. TV was tiny in comparison to the size of the room and kept losing its signal. I also noted a blown lightbulb, but I guess this could have happened at any time. Breakfast was also disappointing, although the sausage was delicious and the highlight. They did provide a small gluten free option too, but I’m not sure if GF bread and non dairy milk is sufficient in and of themselves. The hotel claims a 4* rating and for that I would have at least expected tea/coffee table service. Instead I got it myself from a coffee machine. The coffee itself was very strong to the point of being undrinkable. Finally while speaking with staff it emerged that the Trip price, which supposedly included a huge discount was actually way over the standard price for a room with this hotel."
"Service needs improvement especially during check-ins. We were not properly oriented. There was no kettle in the room, we didn’t know wether there’s a complimentary drinks or not.
Location was fairly good. Walking distance to various landmarks and attractions like Ulster hall, City hall, St. George’s market, Botanic gardens, etc.
Cleanliness: windows needs proper cleaning with molds around."
"This is my second stay at the Clayton Hotel, and overall, the experience was pleasant and the accommodations were comfortable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the hotel offers good value for an overnight stay.
However, I observed that the reception staff could benefit from being more attentive and proactive in assisting guests. On several occasions, it seemed that guests were not immediately acknowledged, which can leave an impression of inattentiveness — particularly for international visitors.
My previous stay was three years ago, and I was hoping to see some improvement in this area. Consistent professionalism and warm hospitality at the front desk would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. I look forward to seeing positive changes on my next visit."
"Excellent hotel! However, I have some concerns regarding Trip.com's service. When I made the reservation, I specified that there would be three of us, including a child, and I also added my requests. But the hotel confirmed they received none of this information, as the booking was made through a third party. Please ensure that correct information is forwarded to the hotel next time."

GGuest User⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay at Holiday Inn Belfast
I recently spent three nights at Holiday Inn Belfast with a friend, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The staff were exceptionally welcoming, professional, and always ready to help, which made us feel comfortable immediately after arriving. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and throughout our stay the team maintained a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Our room was very clean, spacious, and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, and the overall environment was quiet and perfect for rest after a long day exploring Belfast.
The location of the hotel is also excellent, making it easy to access many attractions, restaurants, and transport options around the city.
We also enjoyed the breakfast and general hotel facilities, which added to the overall quality of the stay.
Overall, it was a memorable and pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Belfast to anyone visiting the city. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable.
GGuest UserThis is the second time I’ve stayed here to go to a concert at the SSE arena. I can safely say that the staff are the friendliest I’ve ever experienced in Belfast - very helpful and engaging throughout. We also ate here and the food was delicious and we got a great deal as it was before 7pm. The breakfast is also to die for! And the beds.. it’s just bliss!! I can’t wait to come back already.
AAlexThe hotel was conveniently located near the train station in downtown Belfast. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. There is several pubs located across the street. The hotel piano bar was very nice. I would recommend a view facing the street from the front of the hotel.
PP&PGrand Central is in great location in heart of Belfast. Fantastic staff who are friendly and always on hand to help. At reception Matthew warmly welcomed us and we had a wonderful time Saturday afternoon lounging in the Observatory ,sipping delicious cocktails and enjoying the beautiful Belfast skyline.
Breakfast was lovely with 2 highlights for me ; chef made me perfect poached eggs upon request - thank you! Also variety of mango, mixed berry etc. smoothies were freshly made and served during breakfast; delicious! Would thoroughly recommend for a short city break and Belfast too was buzzing! Will be back again December!
CCiara HGreat overnight stay in Hilton Belfast - gorgeous and super clean hotel and staff were all incredibly helpful and approachable, nothing was too much for them. Good location, and taxi drop off at the front was handy. Stayed in a river view room and the view over Belfast was lovely.
GGuest UserIt's super convenient – just a 600m walk from where the airport bus drops you off. The hotel has all the basic amenities and is very clean. The front desk staff were really friendly; we arrived early and they even let us check in ahead of time. Just a heads-up, it rains a lot in Northern Ireland and it's often too windy for an umbrella, so if you're out sightseeing, definitely wear a good windbreaker. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and you can buy a bus pass to get around.
AAdam SparkesBrilliant red brick stately home type hotel. Full of charm and has a lovely front garden. You have full access to all living and dining area on the ground floor at any time, which is great for photos and relaxing. Our room was a small loft but had a great view from the bathroom of the hills over the city. The City tour bus goes past the hotel because apparently it used to be occupied by the main builder of the Titanic. It is a short walking distance to the stunning Queen's University and Botanic Gardens. Ryan's restaurant is a great shout for homely reasonably priced Irish food and drink. The lady at the front desk also gave us direct assistance to book our trip on the Causeway tour. Highly recommend.
GGuest UserFrom Belfast International Airport, take bus No. 300 to Queen Street, and it only takes 3 minutes to walk to the hotel. The hotel is also close to the commercial street and some attractions, and can be reached quickly by walking or taking the bus.
DDejan SkaljacThe location right in the heart of South Belfast and near Ulster Museum leaves nothing to be desired. The service in this establishment does not either. Our room had plenty of light as it was on the 2nd floor and featured one of those 3 Victorian bay windows. The only tiny little fly in the ointment was the fact our bathroom sink did not seem to have warm water - but the shower made up for that. This mini hotel is great value for money and the cleanliness is beyond reproach.
GGuest UserApartment was great, very clean and in a good location. Only problem was that i didn’t realise until I got there was that I had to put down a deposit. I think that this should have been part of the details when I booked. I was informed that it would only be put down as a pending amount but I was charged. Other than that I enjoyed the dream apartments and will stay again
