Hotels near Kallimarmaro in Athens

The hotel is quite far from the center, so you’ll need to rely on public transportation regularly. There’s a bus station on the street that takes you to the nearest metro stop and into the city, but buses only run every 20–30 minutes. As for the room itself – when I booked the basic room, there were 36 photos that made me think the room would be larger. Maybe that was my mistake (or maybe intentional marketing?), but either way it felt misleading. The room was very clean, but the bathroom soap was the bright pink mall-style kind, and in the shower there was a bottle of clear liquid that honestly looked like bleach. I really hope that wasn’t meant to be shower gel. The room had no window, only a large door to the balcony, which makes it tricky if you want fresh air at night. The AC froze the small space (and I normally love sleeping with AC), but there was no blanket, only a very thin sheet. So the choice was either freezing or no air. There was no desk or chair in the room – if you want to sit, the only option is the bed. There was a washing machine, but no detergent tabs provided. I actually bought a box of 40 at the supermarket and left them there, but I have a feeling they didn’t stay for the next guest. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

hotel is located 3mins away from Acropoli station which is good. But next time I would stay around Monastiraki station. I'd recommend the location for who is coming to Athens for the first time. I stayed at this hotel during my European trip and was impressed by the overall quality — the location is excellent, everything was clean and well-maintained, and the facilities were top-notch. However, the experience at the front desk, particularly with an older woman working there, was disappointing. She didn’t greet us warmly, made no effort to assist, and simply processed our check-in quickly without any friendliness. When we returned in the evening after a long day, she didn’t even acknowledge us with a glance. Having stayed at several hotels during my two-week trip across Europe, this lack of hospitality stood out in contrast. Her attitude didn’t quite match the standard I would expect from a hotel of this rating. Fortunately, another (younger) woman who was assisting check-out the next day was much more welcoming and kind, which helped leave a better impression in the end.

I took a room with a two-stage bed! There was a futon at the bottom of the 2-stage bed and it was difficult to understand! I was very comfortable!

The hosts were awesome. The location is near many local restaurants. The apartment was quaint and very clean. Would book again. Very short overnight stay.

Location was bit from distance from main center point satyagama square, but route is senic between the market, hostel is worth of money.

Nice hotel, nice country, nice staffs, but minus one star for surrounding. Omonia smell like ammonia. No wifi for my stay. So no YouTube, no news for me to watch on tv. Big disappointment for that. Breakfast at 8th floor good view but only 7-10am. Such a waste because I couldn’t see sunrise nor sunset as 8th floor is closed. Should open for guests to have outdoor view at night there.

The room itself was decent, but there's room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to walk to the Acropolis. The rooftop restaurant offers great views, quality, and service. The Christmas set menu was quite good, and the breakfast buffet in the lobby had many choices, though the taste was just average.

Удобная и уютная квартира, новый ремонт, фотографии соответствуют и описанию. Два балкона, оба выходят на улицу. Расположение в 10 минутах от национального музея археологииии в 15 минутах от исторического центра (район Плака)- пешком. Идеальная чистота, приятный комплимент к номере в виде капсул для кофе машины и печенья. Матрас в спальне неудобный, как писали в других отзывах, а кровать скрипит. Про заселение очень важный и существенный для нас минус: накануне переписывалась с отелем и спросила про хранеие багажа, мне сказали, что после 10 часов можно оставить багаж. Однако меня в письме не оповестили о том, что вход в Апарт отель по пин-коду, и заранее не прислали этот код. В день заезда мне пришлось трезвонить в дверь и бегать вокруг в поисках хоть кого-то, кто бы мне помог - дверь с вывеской названия отеля была закрыта, никто не открывал и никого рядом не было, хотя , повторюсь, что переписка с отелем по моей Инциативе была более чем за день до заезда. В итоге мне помог парковщик, оказалось, что пин от двери был выслан в вотсап в этот же день, а я была в дороге и интернета не было для того, чтобы получил это сообщение (и предупреждения не было). Нужно присылать такую информацию заранее. Мы стояли на улице минут 20-30 с ребенком (хорошо, что дождя не было), пока я разбиралась и пыталась попасть внутрь. Остальное всё отлично. Трансфер до аэропортапомогли организовать, чудесный приехал водитель заранее, все написал, был очень внимателен. Фото - музей в 10 минутах ходьбы.

Dave Red in Athens is definitely a hotel with character! If you want to stay somewhere not so ordinary, then this is your choice. The hotel's public spaces and rooms are extremely clean and very tastefully designed with a nod to the building's historical past. The colour palette is in contrasting dark/red tones which gives it unique atmosphere. The main highlight of my room was the super comfy bed and the balcony with a street view. In terms of the size, the room wasn't the biggest but more than enough for a single person. I would like to especially emphasise the staff of the hotel who were extremely helpful, spoke fluent English and gave valuable recommendations. It felt like they really care about their guests' comfort and want them to have best experience in Athens. All the amenities were top notch: breakfast, gym (small but functional), iron and ironing board on request, and a little rooftop space with a communal hot tub😍

Positive points: The room was very clean. It was also very close to the subway station. The key was a number-entry type, so there was no worry about losing it. The dinner delivery options were plentiful and reasonably priced, which was great. The view was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. The room's interior was beautiful, and the staff were kind and very nice. They also held our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Points of concern: You need the WhatsApp app for check-in and other communication. I think not many Japanese people have it installed. The room was clean, but the window couldn't be opened, so ventilation was difficult. The air conditioning worked well, so it wasn't a big issue. The shower drain clogged fairly easily. This might be difficult for women with long hair. There were no amenities such as hairbrushes or cosmetics. I might have been able to get them if I asked, but staff hours ended at 5 PM, so it wasn't possible.
