check in and check out were super easy and quick, excellent service. The rooms are big size for this price, a bit noisy from evening music background from corridors but livable. The breakfast spread is fantastic with local cuisines which are new to us, very yummy and the the breakfast teams are very nice and friendly Lication is abit far out from any nearby local restaurants or tuckshops, no proper pavements for walking but it is nice to see the local mosque and local houses nearby Wifi is excellant as well

Nice hotel to stay in Balikpapan, location litte bit unique because going high from mainroads, breakfast also unable to request eggs.

This is my second time staying here, and once again, I had a pleasant experience. The room and bathroom were clean, and the facilities were excellent. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, though I hope to see improvements in flavor in the future. Additionally, I noticed that some of the beds are a bit worn and no longer as firm as they should be—hopefully, this can be addressed. Overall, it's still a great place to stay

Great location for business trips, very strategic and easy to access. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for resting after meetings. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Amenities were sufficient and everything worked well. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay for business travelers. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel in general is poorly maintained and not clean. Some of the toilets in the lobby area were out of order and dirty/stained. The sink in our 3 rooms were cracked in the middle and plastered to keep the slabs together, however the drainage water keeps on dripping down to our feet everytime we used the sink. The bedsheets, pillowcases were not freshly new when we checked in, all the safety lockers were not working after seeking help from the maintenance, and all the fridges in all 3 rooms were either broken or missing. The aircon in our rooms were working well, however,  the aircon at the breakfast area were not working. Other clienteles were trying to get the best sitting location near the air blowers provided. we ended up sitting next to an open doorway for breakfast to get some fresh morning breeze. Food selection were limited, and the local spread was somewhat not as tasty or as fresh as other local hotels we have stayed before. We can see that the hotel used to be a grand and beautiful place, it is just a shame to see such a majestic building as Tjokro has lost its sparkle..

Lokasi hotel ditengah kota ..dekat dengan mall ..cukup berjalan kaki sudah sampai. Terdapat kolam renang dan fasilitas room service yang ramah.... Nampaknya sarana prasarana sudah banyak perbaikan

Facilities: Although the facilities are relatively old, they are well maintained. Hygiene: There is a dedicated person to clean every day, very responsible. Environment: Sea view room, sea view swimming pool, pleasant scenery. Very satisfied.

The apartment fits the middle budget, the location is far from malls and places to eat, the cleanliness is quite good because the apartment is quite old and still needs more maintenance, including facilities that need to be improved and services that are still not optimal.

I have to be objective with all my reviews, and as such, I absolutely cannot recommend this place. For the same reason as you prospective guests, I booked because of its proximity to the airport, however, you do pay a premium for this when better hotels situated further away cost less, however, much like the viewers of this review I wanted somewhere to rest comfortably, and having seen the review score (there is absolutely no way this is a genuine 9+), I opted to stay. Firstly, I have no serious qualms with the staff, though upon leaving my room at check-out one of the cleaning staff was filming me up close with her phone and upon-check-in the other staff member said that I wasn't to bring back women to the room (insane rudeness to insinuate a guest might bring back a **********!). The room water stank of sewage and it was indeed contaminated as my skin was slimey and smelt after the shower which was cold (no hot water) and when I ”washed” my hands. The worst part of this place (and I paid $17) was there not being a bed sheet/duvet. They only provided a blanket which definitely doesnt get washed daily and is therefore the same blanket that has been over multiple guest's bodies which is disgusting. The breakfast they provided was nice though the ”coffee” in the room was undrinkable. The room as a whole was quite worn and dirty in places. Pay for a taxi to the city centre and even after the return airport fare you'll pay the same for a better quality hotel. I cannot recommend this place for the price.

We used it for a solo trip. It was very beautiful and there was AC. Because it is in front of the mosque, I think the price is cheap, but it was a good hotel to stay at a little higher price,
