Hotels near Cannaregio in Venice

The room was spacious and the heating worked very well. The key was unique, but the facilities were a bit old. The shower curtain didn't really keep the water in, so the bathroom floor got very wet. The courtyard next to the room was quite nice. Room 509 is actually on the ground floor. I also got bitten by mosquitoes at night, but luckily I managed to kill them quickly. The front desk had a peculiar process: when I checked in, they asked for my credit card to register the number. The next day when I checked out, I inquired about it and was told it was to prevent guests from forgetting to pay city taxes or other fees after leaving. They also assured me that the card information would be deleted later and not to worry.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a five-minute walk to the left after exiting Venezia S. Lucia train station on Venice's main island. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is plentiful, with a great view of the canal from the restaurant. The only minor issue is that you have to walk down half a flight of stairs after getting out of the elevator, but everything else was perfect.

We arrived at the hotel on January 12th at 10:30 PM. The room was absolutely amazing and split over two levels. On the ground floor there was a bathroom and a separate shower. Everything was very beautiful, clean, and in perfect working condition. The shower did not leak at all, and there were no unpleasant smells. On the upper floor there was a bedroom with a large bed and an additional sofa. The room was equipped with a large Smart TV, a spacious wardrobe, a safe, and a hairdryer. We were also provided with two 0.5 L bottles of water. There was both a heater and air conditioning, and everything worked perfectly, so it was not cold at all. The location is excellent. It may look a bit confusing on the map at first, but we figured it out quickly. When you see the shop “Ca’ Macana Atelier”, turn immediately to the right. You will see an old public telephone, and between the buildings there is the hotel entrance (the hotel name is written on the door). All access codes worked without any problems. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner is a very kind and welcoming lady truly wonderful. She speaks English and cleans the rooms daily. If you prefer not to have your room cleaned, you can simply inform her or hang the sign on the door. The tourist tax is €3 per person per day. We absolutely loved everything. Out of all the places we have stayed in (priced between €20 and €60 per night), this hotel and room are without a doubt our number one favorite. Thank you so much. This homestay is similar to a small castle surrounded by rivers on three sides. It is about 15 minutes walk from the train station and 20 minutes walk to St. Mark's Square. It is very convenient whether it is by boat or citywalk. But it is not very easy to find, must use googlemap, there is a small bridge next to a bakery and church, through the bridge ring the doorbell, the boss will come to check in. This stay was very pleasant. I didn't expect the room to be so big, the bed was big, the bathroom was big, and there was a small room. In fact, I could live in a family of 5. There is free wifi in the room, you can watch various paid TV channels at night, the bathroom is really clean, and you sleep very comfortably at night.

Beyond the great location, honestly, everything else was pretty disappointing. The hotel offers a taxi service to the airport for 70 Euros... The room was genuinely tiny, too small, and incredibly hot. The heat made me dizzy. My friend came to visit and also commented on how ridiculously hot it was. The staff kept knocking on my door. I asked them not to knock for a bit and to come back later, but they still knocked 3 to 5 more times. The only real highlight was the friendly and handsome young man at the front desk when I checked in on the first day. He was so gentle and helped me open wine and find cutlery. I didn't take photos of the room because it was so small. But on my way out, I discovered a spacious back garden and took some pictures of that. Pictures 3 and 4 show the room service breakfast and the on-site buffet breakfast. At this hotel, whatever you do, do NOT choose room service for breakfast. It's just a few pieces of bread, and it's outrageously overpriced! I felt like a total sucker! Just walk downstairs and eat the buffet – it's actually decent.

Super hotel, well-located at the city's entrance, near the train station. The staff are incredibly competent and very pleasant. The rooms are superb and come with everything you need. Luggage storage is available, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel has a lift, but there are a few steps leading up to it. The shower screen in the bathroom is too short, so water easily splashes onto the floor. Breakfast is provided and is standard. It's close to the train station, but you have to cross a bridge to reach the hotel. You need to return your room card every time you leave. The area is safe, with restaurants nearby, and there are police and military personnel stationed at the train station.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location is excellent, close to many attractions and easy to get around. I also really enjoyed the amenities and the overall atmosphere of the hotel—it felt welcoming and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would be happy to return in the future.

I want to rate ten stars. The accommodation is clean, get a corner room, you can see the canal Venice from the room. Very beautiful, very pleasing, the price is not expensive. It is a few accommodations that I want to stay again. Breakfast is just European style.
