"I can't believe I found such a spacious apartment hotel right in the heart of Rome's city center/Old Town! It's astonishing, and it's even a cultural heritage site, built in 1400. The front desk told me it took 10 years to renovate! You can see the beautiful church next door right from the window! I remember when I came to Rome a few years ago, I booked a hotel that was more expensive but only a third of the size. That's why this time, before booking, I specifically focused on the room size because I felt the rooms in Rome were too small last time! This is truly amazing, 30 square meters! Absolutely luxurious! The hotel is very new and still has a bit of a smell, but it's not an issue because the huge windows can be opened for ventilation! The front desk even upgraded my room, which was just incredible for one person. With two 30-inch suitcases and one small suitcase spread out, there was still so, so much space, and I could walk around very comfortably! When traveling, you really need a spacious hotel room because it instantly helps you relax after a tiring day! I stayed for one night, then went to Tuscany, and came back to stay for another two nights! Every day, they even gave us different snacks! Anyway, I think for this price, given the size and location, I really hope they don't raise the prices later! 😝"

"The hotel has a great location and is very safe. There's a bus stop downstairs, and it's close to attractions. The staff were very helpful; the front desk lent me a converter and helped me call the airport to inquire about my lost luggage. The downsides are that the room was too small, the lighting was dim, and the building was a bit old. The rooftop view was great."

"The 15 sqm room was surprisingly spacious! There were little nooks under both windows, perfect for stashing luggage, and the curtains cleverly concealed them, making the room feel tidy and open. Plus, there was a large sofa along one wall. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can walk to all the main attractions, with the Trevi Fountain just a 3-minute stroll away. The hotel entrance is right on Rome's main thoroughfare, Via del Corso, which has tons of bus routes. This was especially great for us, as we love seeing the city from the bus and had a 72-hour bus pass. The female front desk staff member was very friendly and proactively helpful. The tall young man in the restaurant also provided excellent and attentive service. On our last two days, I injured my back. After check-out, we still had several hours until our airport transfer arrived and nowhere to rest. The hotel specially arranged a resting spot for us, which was incredibly thoughtful."

"The first impression was - terrible, a very small room, the bed/pillows are not the most comfortable, there is too little space, there is nowhere to put a suitcase, there is nowhere to put the breakfast tray, the breakfast itself is purely Italian (lots of bread, croissants, jams, yoghurts and coffee), but I want scrambled eggs and sausage. The shower in the bathroom is just for gnomes, I don’t know how my husband washed himself there, but I, a little girl, could barely fit in there. Also in the morning there is constant noise, because... The reception is located right next to the room, you can hear everything. But!!! There are such amazing people who work there, very kind and nice! and also a super location next to Piazza Navona. Therefore, I simply cannot write a bad review, because when booking I knew that this was not a luxury hotel, but a weak three-room hotel. In general, I want to say thank you to the girl at the reception (in my opinion, she is the main one there), she is simply fantastic!"

"The hotel is new and elegantly decorated. The location is excellent, close to the Trevi Fountain and about a 15-minute walk to the Colosseum. There are many restaurants and bakeries nearby, which is very convenient. However, the room layout was different from the photos advertised on the platform. The front desk said those rooms were no longer available, which was a bit disappointing."

"My friend and I traveled to Rome, and we were a little apprehensive. But the pleasant surprise of meeting such kind and friendly people, the amazing room they gave us with a little terrace, made our stay unforgettable. Everything was spotless, and the cleaning staff, always smiling, made us feel right at home. We would definitely go back. Thank you, Hotel Impero, for everything! 🙏🙏🙏"

"Due to jet lag, I woke up at 2 AM on the first night and couldn't fall back asleep. It was probably breakfast and coffee time back home... but it was the middle of the night in Rome, and the hotel breakfast started at 7:30 AM. I was on my phone in bed until 4 AM. Feeling restless, I called the front desk to see if there was any way to get a cup of coffee. I wasn't very hopeful, but the person on the other end said they could specially make one for me, which I was so grateful for 🥹. All the hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel's location is excellent. The farthest I walked was to the Vatican, and it took me a leisurely 45 minutes. If you walk fast, it would definitely be under 30 minutes. Other attractions are even closer. There are restaurants all around, offering every kind of food imaginable, and for shopping, it's just a two-minute walk to the shopping streets leading to the Spanish Steps. One of the reasons I considered this hotel initially was safety. It seems there's a council building opposite, with numerous police officers around all day. As long as you don't stay out too late, there's not much to worry about. Also, personally, I think the safety concerns about Rome are a bit exaggerated on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). Just be mindful of your belongings and don't flaunt your wealth, and you'll generally be fine. The hotel breakfast didn't have many options, but the bread was delicious. Being on the top floor, the view was beautiful and very pleasant. Now for the cons, which I personally found tolerable: 1. It's relatively old, but it's clean, which is a big plus. 2. The elevator is small and a bit slow to respond, but it closes within three to five seconds once you're inside. On my first day, after checking in, I was going up to my room. Three people went in before me, and I couldn't fit with my large suitcase. The elevator door finally closed, but then inexplicably opened again. A woman inside angrily told me, ”Stop pressing it!!!” I was bewildered and retorted just as angrily, ”I didn't even touch it!!” The woman fell silent, and I waited for the other elevator to arrive and left first. 3. Soundproofing is average, so light sleepers should take note. 4. No free drinking water. The mini-bar items are chargeable. So, you can buy water at a nearby supermarket. 1.5 liters costs 0.88 Euros. In summary, I would choose to stay here again next time."

"A convenient hotel for visiting the Vatican. The hotel is small, the room is comfortable. A great big bed. The room we had was without a window but with our own outlet to the patio where there was a table with chairs and you could smoke. The only glass wall of this patio went out into the hotel hall. We stayed for one night, it didn't embarrass us. We are very glad that we managed to sleep thanks to the mattress and pillows. It was our third hotel in Rome, there is something to compare. Breakfast was better. But the wonderful cook kindly cooked our eggs than saved the situation."

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding – sheets, duvet covers, and pillows – was equally pleasant. It's conveniently located very close to the Vatican, with a taxi ride costing only 20 Euros. Each room comes with a balcony, and the air quality was quite good. However, the room temperature wasn't individually adjustable. It was 28°C (82°F) during our summer stay, and it got so hot that we had to wait until after 9 AM the following day for someone from maintenance to adjust it. There's a pool downstairs which seemed quite clean, but access isn't direct; you need to pick up a pass from the front desk first.

GGuest UserArrived at the hotel past midnight on the first day and was given a noisy room, 402 – remember that number! It felt like I'd walked into a magnetic field. There was a huge boiler right below the room, making noise all night long, so I couldn't sleep at all. The city tax was also super expensive: 6 euros for one person, 12 euros for two. Breakfast wasn't great either; all the dishes were cold, even the eggs. The only upside is its proximity to the central station, about a 15-minute walk.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to a series of overlooked details and frustrating issues. To start with the good—the staff were great: friendly, helpful, and informative. They made an effort to assist whenever asked, and that hospitality was appreciated. The location was decent, about a 30-minute bus ride to the city center. It’s not exactly central, but manageable if you’re okay with the commute. The room was reasonably clean upon arrival, but the quality of housekeeping declined quickly. A lotion stain I accidentally left on the shower floor was never cleaned, and instead of actually scrubbing the area, housekeeping simply placed a mat over it—as if to hide it. Initially, the room came stocked with two sets of towels, but after the first day, only one of each was replaced. While the booking was for one person, maintaining the original quantity would have shown a bit more care and consistency. There were several small inconveniences that added up. For example, the room phone had no directory, so I had no idea how to contact the front desk or reach any services. On top of that, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two days, which turned out to be because the previous guest had asked for it to be turned off, and it was never reset. It took me that long to realize I had to ask the concierge to enable it again. In a properly managed hotel, the AC should be reset and ready for the next guest without needing to make a request. The continental breakfast was another letdown. The scrambled eggs were dry, lumpy, and had a strange grey tint. The bacon and sausages were cold, and orange juice was served in plastic cups. There was very little fresh fruit, and to top it off, they had a random speaker on the floor playing radio ads during breakfast—a strange and unpleasant ambiance for a morning meal. I’m glad I didn’t pay for breakfast for my entire stay, because it definitely wasn’t worth it. The Wi-Fi was by far the worst I’ve encountered in any hotel. It disconnected constantly and, when connected, barely reached speeds of 5 Mbps. For a hotel in a tourist-heavy area, this is unacceptable and suggests a clear lack of awareness of guest needs—especially for travelers who rely on Wi-Fi to plan outings or stay in touch. Noise was another major issue. The elevator makes a blaring siren-like noise when it opens, which woke me up every single morning. The walls and doors are paper-thin, making it easy to hear people walking or talking outside, and the doors slam shut loudly, adding to the disturbance. Finally, while not the hotel’s fault, there were a few homeless individuals living around the property, which might make some guests feel uneasy, particularly at night. All in all, while the staff were excellent and the location worked, there were just too many frustrating and avoidable issues—poor housekeeping, unusable Wi-Fi, subpar breakfast, noise problems, and a lack of attention to guest experience basics. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the hotel makes significant improvements across the board.

SSonya_theoneWe've stayed at this hotel twice. The premium room and standard room only differ in size and the presence of a desk. The renovation is brand new, with a fresh and understated design. The elevator operates silently but is slow. The soundproofing between rooms could be better, but if you just need a place to sleep while traveling and want to quickly depart from Termini for other parts of Italy, it's ideal and budget-friendly.

PPhillipsBenjaminWe stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

Well, the village provides really clean and private houses for very affordable price. ***For everyone thinking about staying here, please mind that this place is very very far from the city, 2 bus line come & go to the city and if you miss one in the morning it has gap of 1 hour so might take so long for the next one.

AavecchieFor Rome prices, it's not bad. However, the self check-in process was a bit convoluted for the initial entry (though once you get the keys from the room, opening the main building door and the condo entrance is easy). The bathroom had a shower with mold, and very little water came out of the showerhead, which was completely encrusted. Even after trying to clean it, not much water came out. For the price, it's not terrible though.

GGuest UserI booked with Reali Hotel Archimede, but when I wanted to check-in, the receptionist told me my booking wasn't registered/found in their system. Which they then offer me to another hotel where it is located behide of the Raeli Hotel, which is called HOTEL LUXE. Quite disappointed as this shouldn't happen to any customer. The room wasn't come with any free water bottle, coffee or tea and kettle. However, you can grab the hot water at the lobby near breakfast room area. The location wise to Roma Termini is just 4-5 mins walk which is quite good at this point if traveler is to rush to catch on any early train/metro. One point to note: every time when you're going out, the room key has to pass to the receptionist and collect back from them again when u're back each time.
