Hotels near Trieste Station in Trieste

The main thing is the location. Right next to the bus and train stations. And it was a 20-minute walk from the port. I imagine this used to be a fashionable mansion. High ceilings, a pompous staircase. But the room converted into a private residence is a bit odd. The central room with a double bed is flawless. But the second single bed is right in the hallway by the door. The hallway is about 8 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. You open the door, and there it is, the bed. And instead of slats, there's thick, creaky plywood. Not very presentable. And the bathroom is funny, like a tall, narrow cabinet, with a 30-centimeter gap past the toilet and bidet. Overall, not bad. But nothing special.

Nice light airy apartment in great location. Close to the Flix bus stop, train station, cruise terminal and bars/restaurants/shops. Apartment is fairly basic but comfortable enough. Bed was a little firm, bathroom and kitchen basic. Would consider staying again at the right price.

As I arrived early in the morning, I went to the counter to leave my luggage first, and they served me a complimentary plate of coffee and croissants. It was wonderful hospitality. However, although the booking page on Trip.com said ”1 queen bed”, the actual room had ”1 single bed” (I'm not sure if this is Trip.com's fault or the hotel's).

It's easily reached from the central station in 5 minutes, and the hotel is just 8 minutes from the city center, making it quite convenient. The staff at reception are very professional and helpful, as are those in the restaurant. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, both sweet and savory. I highly recommend it.

I booked this room for a colleague and the feedback was similar to mine. [I won’t change the picture, just use the actual one I took] Facilities: Facilities are okay, Italian hotels are not very new Hygiene: The hygiene is quite clean, but there are ants in the bathroom🐜. Friends who mind Environment: The environment is okay. You can park on the roadside. The lady at the front desk said that this town is quite safe. Service: The service is very good, mainly the breakfast!

👍It is quite convenient to take the bus from the train station to the accommodation, but the bus does not accept cash, and you need to buy tickets or swipe a credit card in advance. 👍The bus stop is really not far from the accommodation, but if you go the wrong way, you will not be able to get out. ❓It is a self-service check-in, but I was not told and did not know what to register online in advance? So I could not get the room card. I struggled at the door for a long time before I got the help of other travelers and called the customer service phone to get it solved. 🍄The room is on the top floor--it is a loft-style--the beams are a bit low~~ We are old and are afraid of hitting our heads, otherwise it is a very special accommodation experience. 🍄The space is spacious, but the kitchen + dining table in this room is very narrow, which is very different from the booking photos! The equipment is quite complete! Tableware and electric kettle are provided. 🍄There is a rest + reading space on the first floor. In the bathroom next to it, there is a small self-service washing machine.. I can't understand the operating instructions and give up! 🍄Very close to the cruise terminal, you can walk there with your luggage. 🍄Nearby restaurants--good!

I loved our overnight stay at The Modernist! It’s a chic, smart, arty hotel in the centre of the city, easy walking distance to all the shopping, bars and restaurants. The room was spotless with tea, coffee, minibar and toiletries all provided. The restaurant and cocktail bar serves creative cocktails, a great buffet breakfast and a fabulous dinner - we enjoyed them all!!

Great location hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. rooms seemed a touch outdated but for price and value for money perfect hotel for short stays in Trieste centre!
