Hotels near B-Con Plaza in Beppu

The room was spacious, and the balcony was also very large with a nice view. The open-air onsen was amazing! The service was excellent. They even had massage devices for body and face. The matcha tea bags were delicious too. I felt a lot of thought went into everything.

This was the accommodation where I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. There were three single beds pushed together, so there was plenty of space to sleep. The toilet and bathroom with a bathtub were separate. There's a washing machine (detergent included) so you can wash anything you need to quickly (though there's no drying rack). Since we stayed for 2 nights, they left fresh towels, amenities, and toothbrushes outside our door the next day. The overall cleanliness was decent. There's a complimentary drink service, so you can enjoy coffee and a variety of other beverages whenever you're coming or going! There's an outdoor onsen (hot spring) on the 11th floor. It's free from 10 PM to 8 AM, so I enjoyed the hot spring with my child first thing in the morning! Haha.

Excellent location with convenient transportation. The place is clean and right by the sea, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shopping malls. The staff are polite and welcoming, the environment is quiet, and it's close to attractions with good facilities.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights here in late May 2026. And wow - this place is super impressive! This was by far the best hotel / resort we’ve stayed at during our Japan trip (nearly 3 months of traveling central and southern Japan). The rooms are spacious, extremely clean, luxurious. You have your own private indoor onsen, outdoor onsen, cold plunge tub, sauna and if in the summer, your own private pool. You have a full size kitchen, full western style living room with a TV, full Japanese style living room, multiple toilets and a beautiful bathroom. And a beautiful view overlooking Beppu below! The food is absolutely delicious. The staff and their service are professional, knowledgeable and very welcoming. It’s close to the 7 hells of Beppu attractions so it makes for an easy day trip too. And if you’re looking for a public onsen experience, its sister property is a 5 minute walk from this resort. It’s a newer establishment without many reviews yet, but take my word for it, you won’t be disappointed. We truly loved our stay here and we will definitely be back.

The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

This was my second time at Hoshino, and I went with friends. Everything was excellent, from the service and facilities to the environment, cleanliness, and food. The entire building faces Beppu Bay, with a minimalist design that still feels warm. The abundant use of white space, wood, and natural light makes it feel like living in a breathing art museum. The public spaces are very quiet, even when the hotel is full, maintaining the consistent understated elegance of the ”Kai” series.

I was very impressed with this ryokan stay. We chose a Family Room, which comfortably accommodated four of us. The room had two air conditioners, keeping it pleasantly cool throughout our stay. The overall atmosphere was warm and peaceful, truly ideal for a relaxing getaway. The service was also very impressive, especially from the elderly gentleman and the male staff member who gave excellent advice. They were attentive and friendly. The other female staff were also lovely and provided equally great service. The ryokan also has an onsen for a relaxing soak, and the location is convenient, with easy access to a nearby mall close to Beppu Tower. Overall, it was a very memorable ryokan experience, and it's a place I'd love to visit again.

Had a great check-in experience today. The front desk staff were very friendly. It's also close to the station. While there aren't many attractions nearby, it's still a good area to explore. I'd definitely stay here again next time. Thanks everyone for sharing!

The hotel location is excellent, right next to Beppu Station – just cross the road from the exit. It has its own hot spring, which is a bit small, but guests can use the hot springs at two other nearby hotels for free. Breakfast is also served at one of those other hotels. The room rate is very affordable for Beppu, offering great value for money.
