"The transfer was very good. When we left, we kept sending us out of the hotel door and the service was very good. Breakfast has watermelon. Historical hotel, there are many books to read on the first floor. The sofa chair in the room is very comfortable. The guests are mainly Japanese local guests and a small number of European and American guests."

"I went to Karuizawa for four days and three nights! When I booked the hotel, one of the nights was a weekend, which meant I couldn't book all three nights together! I had to book them separately because the price increased significantly on the weekend. So, the room I got was smaller and more expensive than usual, and it didn't even include breakfast! My advice is definitely to avoid staying here on weekends. The good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the train station, and there's also a huge outlet mall nearby!"

"The owner and the hosts were all incredibly kind. The restaurant felt especially cozy in winter, and I enjoyed a morning walk around, catching a glimpse of Mount Fuji. Every building in the vicinity had its own unique charm. Thanks to the hosts' recommendation, I also visited a local onsen with an outdoor bath. Soaking in the steaming hot springs on a cold winter night, with a crescent moon hanging above the treetops, was an absolutely wonderful experience."

"Excellent! There was a Chinese staff member at the front desk who was incredibly warm and helpful. She assisted with my luggage and gave great recommendations for local attractions. The hotel is located next to a charming small church with a pretty courtyard, creating a lovely atmosphere. Even though I'm not religious, admiring the architecture and taking a stroll around the area was incredibly relaxing. I'll definitely return!"

"Located approx 20min walk from the station, but close to the old Ginza street. The rooms are a little old but well maintained. There is an indoor and outdoor onsen on the third floor and breakfast is very good."

"The hotel is conveniently located just about a 10-minute walk from Karuizawa JR Station. I believe the hotel has some history, as the facilities are a bit dated, but they are very clean and perfectly acceptable. We'd give the hotel's breakfast an A+! It was truly thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, and the service staff were incredibly kind and polite. We checked in quite late, around 8 PM, and the gentleman at the front desk was so patient and thorough in explaining everything to us in English. We're very grateful for his help. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money."

"Clean and tidy. The shuttle bus to Karuizawa Station right at the doorstep is very convenient; you can ask the front desk for the schedule. The outlet is just a 5-minute walk away. Major nearby attractions include Stone Church, Kumoba Pond, and Old Karuizawa. This is my third visit to Karuizawa. The previous two times were during the winter ski season. Spring has a pleasant temperature; although there's a temperature difference between morning and night, strolling around during the day is very comfortable. I highly recommend visiting in spring, April-May."
