"As a female solo traveller seeking shopping and safe travel, this hotel is my top choice. The rooms are spotless, quiet and spacious enough for a single person. The shower is over the bath and the water is strong and hot, perfect for winding down after a long day of walking. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the towels are changed and bins emptied daily. The whole room is serviced every three days, which is plenty. I stayed for 7 nights and had no regrets. I borrowed an iron and board from reception and used the laundry facilities with 500 yen (100 yen coins accepted). Asakusabashi Station is just a 7-minute walk straight line from the A3 Exit and has elevators and lifts to the platform. For shopping, I highly recommend Akihabara, which is a 15-minute walk from the hotel and has everything I need."

"I stayed for three nights from July 11th to 13th. I arrived at the hotel around 5 PM. Originally, I had booked two rooms, each with two twin beds and a sofa. Seeing that there were five of us, the hotel graciously upgraded one of our rooms to a triple room for free, ensuring everyone had a good night's sleep. The hotel is small, clean, and has staff who speak Chinese. Toiletries are self-service. The room trash was emptied, and towels were changed daily. You can also exchange a small card at the front desk for bottled water, one for each guest. Japanese hotel rooms are indeed on the smaller side; you can't open two 28-inch suitcases simultaneously. However, considering the location, I find this understandable. Exit A4 next to the hotel doesn't have an elevator, so it's not recommended if you have large luggage. You can use Exit A3 instead. There are about seven or eight convenience stores around the hotel, as well as good Chinese restaurants and fruit/vegetable shops. It's very convenient to take the subway to get anywhere. Oh, and there's a small rooftop terrace at the hotel where it's very pleasant to go up and enjoy the breeze in the evening. On the second floor, the laundry room has an ice maker, water dispenser, and microwave. Washing clothes costs 300 yen, and drying starts from 100 yen. They didn't charge any additional hotel tax, and check-out was as simple as handing in the room card. There were guests from Europe, China, and Southeast Asia."

"It's very close to the station. The staff were polite and helpful. The room is quite small but it's the norm in Japan. But we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is lovely, there're shops, restaurants. There is even a Lawson connected to the hotel reception hall. We can walk to Asakusa and Akihabara in under 30 mins :)"

"Vey great location, close to both metro and jr. A lots of food even at night and the area is very active( might be a little scary at night for women who travel alone). There are 7-11 and lawson close by. The room is great alittle smaller than I though. There was a cloth dryer in room very helpful and convenient. There were also laundry at the second floor. It self check-in with computer but if there were some problems there will be staff assist. Also free luggage storage which is also very convenient."

"I had a pleasant stay at HOTEL MYSTAYS Asakusa. The location was convenient for exploring Asakusa and other parts of Tokyo, with public transportation within walking distance. The room was compact, which is quite normal in Tokyo, but it was clean, comfortable, and had the basic amenities I needed. The area around the hotel was relatively quiet, so it was nice to come back and rest after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were polite and helpful, and the overall stay was comfortable and convenient. I also liked being able to explore the Asakusa area easily while still having good access to other places in Tokyo. Overall, it was a good choice for a reasonably priced and practical stay in Tokyo. I would consider staying here again on a future visit."

There was a long-lost sense of relaxation. Tokyo is a fast-paced city, but the hostel felt like a little haven where you could slow down. As a Chinese visitor, I also appreciated the emphasis on public order in Japanese accommodation culture. Everyone naturally kept quiet and respected each other's rest time, making shared living spaces surprisingly comfortable. Of course, if you're expecting a luxury hotel, this isn't it. But if you're looking to experience Tokyo on a reasonable budget, meet travelers from different countries, and feel the city's authentic and warm side, then this hostel comes highly recommended. Tokyo is vast, with countless sights to see, and having a clean, safe, and welcoming place to rest during your journey is a sight in itself."

"The location is excellent, with easy walking access to the subway station. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for dining out and shopping. Although the room isn't huge, it's very clean, the bed is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. The staff are friendly, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The facilities, including a washing machine and microwave, are comprehensive, making it very suitable for longer stays. Overall, it offers great value for money. "Near metro train station and many restaurants. For big person might be tight for toilet. Cleaning day only 3 days one time with 2 bottles of water. Free drink until 9:00 pm. And coffee 24 hours"

"The location is excellent, close to everything. It's just one stop from Akita Station, and the subway entrance is only about 100-200 meters away. The room is quite spacious. Besides the two single beds, there's an additional tatami room where you can lay out futons for two more people. The futons, blankets, and pillows for the tatami room are all stored in the closet. It's very convenient. There are many eateries in the small alleys nearby. Right at the entrance, there's a Lawson convenience store, and across the street is a supermarket. Although the hotel doesn't include breakfast, there's a kitchen, so you can buy milk, eggs, fruit, and bread from the supermarket across the street and prepare your own meals. There's also a bakery not far away with delicious bread. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, microwave, induction cooktop, pots, pans, and tableware. The supermarket across the street feels very Japanese. The milk is tasty, the eggs are good, and the apples are delicious – definitely worth checking out."

"When I booked online for the room, I stated very clearly no corner room, but when I discovered my room is nearly at the end, was a bit not happy. The location is 7 mins walk to suidoboshi station. But it's not very near to places like shibuya or Tokyo, a bit disappointed the single room is a bit small, but the milk lotion, liquid cleanser, face wash packet they provided is gd. A bit surprised they don't provide spoon but stirrer. The room is clean, and there is lawson at 2nd floor and laundry service at 7th level. I have taken video of the room but can't attach here, wasted. Near the suidoboshi station are some eateries. They provide one water bottle daily and clean the room daily which is good. If you preferred a clean room, this hotel is apt for u. The hotel provided airport limousine bus to airport but not vice versa"
