"The room was a bit small; it might be fine for one person. There's no desk, but it makes up for it with its exquisite decor and location. It's less than 800 meters from Dotonbori, the heart of Osaka's downtown, yet this particular area isn't too noisy, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was pretty good overall too."

"Let me focus on the room issues here. I rarely give low ratings to domestic B&Bs, but this one is an exception. 1. The room I was given had virtually no natural light, with an enclosed courtyard window. 2. The soundproofing in the room was extremely poor, truly terrible. 3. It's normal to pay accommodation tax, which was 400 yen per day for two people. 4. The hotel elevator is incredibly tiny; going up and down in it is very inconvenient. If thirty people have luggage, they'd have to wait. 5. The bathroom is incredibly cramped, one of the smallest I've ever seen. Don't tell me I haven't been to Japan; I stay in Japan for many days every month and have never encountered one this small. You can't even straighten your legs when using the toilet, which is quite awkward. 6. And most importantly, its distance from the subway station is simply too far. For those with a lot of luggage, it's more than a 25-minute walk."

"Not far from Shinsaibashi, and dining options are convenient. Check-in is self-service; you just scan the QR code at the front desk. For check-out, simply inform the cleaning staff on the first floor. No accommodation tax is charged."

"I chose this ryokan based on a few criteria: 1) I wanted a traditional ryokan, not a Western-style hotel; 2) it needed to be close to the station and Dotonbori for both shopping and nightlife; and 3) it had to be reasonably priced. Reasonable prices are generally hard to come by in Osaka, but this ryokan definitely won out in that category. I didn't opt for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The room key is old-fashioned and heavy, and you have to hand it in every time you leave. A nice touch was the rice tea instead of standard tea bags. Overall, I was very satisfied."

"This is a good place to stay, not amazing. The rooms are a bit small, but they pack in everything you actually need—washer, kitchenette, microwave, decent bathroom. Location is excellent, just a few minutes from Dotonbori's action. It's clean and modern enough, but don't expect lots of space or luxury. If you want a functional base for exploring Osaka without paying a fortune, it works perfectly."

"Dear Hotel Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for two days and overall had a comfortable experience. However, I unfortunately lost a valuable item (a necklace) during my stay. I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter. On the evening of the 20th, I placed my necklace on the desk and did not wear it while touring on the 21st. Thinking my companion had packed it, I only realized it was missing after checking out, and I contacted the hotel immediately. When I called, the hotel simply stated that they checked and found nothing, without offering to contact me if it is found later. If the hotel finds the lost item later, please contact me via email. 호텔을 사용하며 불편함은 없었습니다만 2일 동안 호텔을 사용하며 귀중품(목걸이)를 분실했습니다. 호텔 측과 원활한 소통이 되지 않아 글을 남깁니다. 20일 저녁에 책상에 목걸이를 올려두었고 착용하지 않고 21일에 관광지를 돌아다녔습니다. 일행이 목걸이를 챙겼다고 생각하여 체크아웃 이후 챙기지 않은 사실을 알게되어 바로 호텔에 연락했습니다. 호텔 측에서는 확인해본다고 하고 확인해본 결과 없다는 답변 뿐 찾게 되면 따로 연락 준다는 이야기는 받지 못했습니다. 만약 호텔측에서 분실물을 습득하면 제 이메일로 연락주시길 바랍니다. 감사합니다."

"I love to stay in this Hotel. The room is bigger than i expected, you can open two suitcases at the same time.There is hot spring . Ths space is not too big , but luckily ,i am the only one to use it in the early morning.there are free ramen and ice cream for supper. It also probide ice pillow in summer to help sleep better at night. i can say that is very traditional Japanese hotel.The service is quite nice."

"Location of this hotel is insane, the service is good, the hotel lobby can connect to Lawson without going out to the street. But! I think Namba is a little bit chaos, normally I always stayed at Yodoyabashi, Shin Osaka and Umeda district, I think these three districts are quieter, I stayed here and hear 🚨 every night which effect my sleep quality. Anyway, the onsen is very relax and natural, and there are plenty of ice creams for free, night time ramen for free, and two massage bed for free (lots of people queues here, so be hurry!). And the room has some brown watermark on the wall so not much clean, but don’t expect much because it’s budget hotel, with all these free amenity I appreciate it so much and I couldn’t complain much. Thanks"

"Stayed at Onyado Nono Namba Natural Hot Spring and absolutely loved it. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout and every staff member we met was kind, helpful and efficient. Service felt warm without being intrusive. I saw quite a few comments online saying the rooms are too small, but honestly I think it depends on which room type you book. We checked the room size before booking and found it very acceptable for Osaka standards — spacious enough to open luggage comfortably and move around without feeling cramped. One of our favourite parts was all the little extras included during the stay — the free late-night noodles every evening were surprisingly good, and the onsen was such a nice way to relax after walking all day. After the bath, there was complimentary ice cream which made the experience even better. Location is another huge plus — directly across from Dotonbori, within walking distance to Kuromon Market, and very convenient for exploring Namba and nearby areas. The whole hotel has a calm Japanese ryokan-style atmosphere while still being modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay again next time in Osaka ❤️"

"The Candeo Hotel Osaka Namba is located very near the shopping and food paradise, Dotonbori! The English speaking Hotel's staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The best attraction of the Hotel was the in-house Onsen which allow us to relax in, after a long day shopping! We will strongly recommend our friends to stay in this hotel if they visit Osaka!"
