"The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Todai-ji Temple and Kasuga Grand Shrine. It's also very close to Nara-machi, which has many restaurants, and Kintetsu Nara Station. The hotel has its own hot spring baths. There used to be an open-air bath where you could see the Five-Story Pagoda of Kofuku-ji Temple, but it's currently under renovation and not visible. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming."

"This was one of my favorit stays in Japan , this place had gread value for money. Location was great close to shopping street pond and park. There was space to eat food and they provides all usual free stuff. Access through codes ,loved not having to carry any cards keys etc."

"This place was so cute and excellent. Staff didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate easily enough. Room was Japanese Ryokan style. Tatami mats, low table. It had everything needed, shower and toilet in the room too. There is also an onsen that you can reserve for your private use. I asked for a time later at night and they still had one spot available. If you can't get a time then it is ”public use” after 22:00, which seems to mean that you might need to share if others want to join. Location was very good, right in the middle of the historic part of town and a short walk (＜5 min) to Nara park to see the deer. Hotel was very nice and clean. I was here in late December and the air conditioning heater in the room was very good too."

"Absolutely blown away by this hotel! The design is stunning, and the views are just incredible – you can see deer, cherry blossoms, Mount Wakakusa, and the lake all from here. It's perfectly situated right in the scenic area. The room was huge, and the service was impeccable; they granted every request. Nara is definitely a place worth staying and savoring slowly."

"The location is superb, right next to the park. The room is good, and there's a place to do laundry, plus a communal kitchen. The only downside is the thin walls. We couldn't sleep the first night because other guests were very noisy, despite signs everywhere saying to be quiet after 10 PM – they were still making noise until morning. Everything else was great, and check-in was easy."

"My husband and I were in the standard room set by Trip.com, double bed. But after arriving at the hotel, I was told that I could live alone. Two people had to add 3,850 yen, about RMB 200. Going to the theory with Trip.com, they have a tough attitude and play official language, saying that it is my own problem, and I didn't see the word ”one person lives” marked in a small corner. I said I want to give a bad review, people don't care at all, so I can leave a lot of messages Before using **, Booking, Ma Cellular in Japan standard room, are default two people live, there is such a pit of Ctrip, the service attitude is also very poor, no longer needed in the future! ! !"

"Enjoyed the change in environment in Nara and really appreciated the large room which is a huge contrast over the tiny rooms you get in bigger cities. Really appreciated the Japanese bathroom with bathtub. The toilet is also behind a separate door and the sink is outside. Don’t expect much service from the hotel staff though as their selling point is the holographic robot dinosaur who checks you in."

"This is a great option if you want a budget option that is still reasonably comfortable and clean. You get a physical key as the room key and there and then you know that it is a dated hotel. And that also means anyone can access the hotel room floors, and thankfully, there was no security issues throughout our stay. Besides that, the hotel room amenities are acceptable and we enjoyed using the bathroom supplies very much. We booked the Large Twin Room which also means our bath area and toilet are in separate rooms, which is great. The bathroom has the traditional bath house concept with the stool and low mirror, which made our bath time fun for the kids and interesting for adults. We like that fresh towels were provided daily even if we put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door knob. Housekeeping would leave the items in a plastic bag outside your door, including bottles of mineral water. Yes, bottled water is provided for free here, which is perfect. The hotel staff were very friendly. Lifts were spacious and worked perfectly. There were no bugs in the room. Our non-smoking room also smelled fine - no odd or bad smell/odour. The location is also easy for taxi drivers to find. There's also a Family Mart and 7-11 less than 5 minutes away. While you're there, check out Yakinikukotora, just 5 minutes away - a great place to go for dinners and suppers; I believe they close at 3am. All in all, it was a pleasant stay."

"This was one of the low key place where it is located after crossing Nara train station. Convenient. Staff was welcoming, allow to leave luggage before check in time. The whole hotel has tatami flooring, you need to go to locker leave your shoes in there, throughout the stay. In the room they gave you a bag, socks to wear around hotel and towels to use in public onsen. It was a great experience and dipping in hot pool after long day walk. Most families guests, and they allow older kids accompanied with parent of same gender. But those parent don't know how to control kids should respect the other guests. I have kid myself and try to be respectful. Since after onsen they wan to give cooling down so they have free flow ice cream afternoon to night. And probiotic drink morning. They have a massage chair and if it is peak season proly all these will be in queue. But I went on weekday and end of May so it was quite nice. Not too busy. I didnt pick hotel breakfast as I always wake up late lol. Oh and supper 9pm or 930pm onward they provide ramen and it was real nice after a long day and after onsen, hearty hot ramen soup and green tea to end the night. The experience they provide part of the stay is really fantastic!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, and I really liked the pajamas supplied by the hotel. The lounge was really welcoming, and I liked that you could get hot or iced coffee at any time of day there. The tea selection was also extensive. I also really liked the public bath in the basement. After a day of walking in the winter, nothing beats a soak in the hot pool. Staff was always friendly and greeted me every time I came back or left the hotel. The location is also excellent, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as the entrance to Nara Park!"
