Hotels near Hakata Ward in Fukuoka

Access: 5 minute walk from the Hakata Hub Station (subway, bus, JR, etc.). Shops: Convenient access to shopping malls such ad Kitte, Amu, etc. 30 second walk to 7-11, Ikkosha ramen shop 2 minute walk. Standard Japanese hotel room. Yes, it’s not big, but perfectly fine. All rooms here are pretty much the same. (Unless if you’re willing to shell out 20k minimum for US brand hotels). If you need big look somewhere else.

This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right in the heart of Hakata JR, next to the station and the airport bus stop, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are also tons of large department stores nearby, like Marui, Hankyu, AMU, and Yodobashi Camera, all super close! As for the subway, it's very near the Chikushi exit – just turn left when you come out, and you're at the hotel! Check-in is on the third floor. The rooms are spacious, and you can let staff know if you'd like your room cleaned or towels changed by putting a magnetic sign on your door. They provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water by default, and they'll replenish them if you need more! Overall, it's truly excellent! Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back next time.

Very conveniently located in the Nakasu/Hakata area. Easy walk to the shopping district. Our room was much smaller/tighter than expected. It listed suitable for 4 to stay so i was expecting 2 Twin beds. Instead we had 2 Singles which meant one child had to sleep on the floor. They brought blankets to try to make it more pleasant. The breakfast area is not very big. On days that there were tour groups leaving, it was a wait to get a seat and the food would be finished so fast. There were not enough staff to keep up with refilling the food. Otherwise, the food was actually quite good and enjoyable. They also had complimentary wine during happy hour which we appreciated.

Everything was great, except for the room being a bit small. Having stayed in many Japanese hotels, I'm used to that. The location is super convenient, just a five-minute walk from Hakata Station. Even though it's right by the railway tracks, it was surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and tidy, small but well-equipped with everything you need. It was a thoughtful touch that the front desk provided toiletries, coffee, and tea bags for guests to take freely.

Great Value and Prime Location Near Hakata Station I’m glad I trusted my instincts on this one. Despite the lower rating, my experience mirrored the pleasant stay I had with this chain in Nagoya. While the property is older than its Nagoya counterpart, it is well-maintained and spotlessly clean. It offers excellent value for the price. Pros: Free Wifi and fast internet connection (no password needed). Efficiency: Fast, seamless check-in and convenient luggage storage. Room Quality: 11F Room 1128 Clean room with impressive soundproofing and reliable heaters for both the shower and bidet. With Mini Fridge, Hair Dryer and Slippers (you can take home). Amenities: The Library Cafe (free water, coffee, and tea until midnight) is a great touch. Ample, delicious breakfast included. (6:30am - 9:30am) Convenience: Self-service laundry (14F), vending machines on every floor, and essentials (bathrobes/toiletries) available in the lobby. Location: Perfect base—30 mins from Fukuoka Airport, steps away from Hakata Station, Subway, the Bus Terminal, beside 7-Eleven, and Starbucks. Surrounded by malls, restaurants and transits. Staff: Kind and Accommodating Cons: Early Check-out: 10:00 AM is a bit earlier than average. TV has no Netflix and Youtube. The limited movie available on it comes with a fee.

I booked a twin room in the front building. Even with the windows closed, I could sometimes hear traffic outside, and there were often loud motorcycles late at night. It wasn't enough to disturb my sleep, though. The room was very clean and spacious, with two beds and enough room to open two large suitcases, which was great. I also pre-paid for breakfast when booking. Although it was the same for all six days, it was delicious! Every morning, they had roasted beef slices, along with fried chicken or other side dishes. A cup of Japanese coffee or matcha with milk was a nice touch. The location is super convenient, situated between Watanabe-dori and Yakuin stations. There's a 24-hour supermarket nearby, and it's a short walk to the Tenjin shopping area. It's a highly recommended hotel!

Excellent location just 5 minutes walk to HAKATA Canal City. Within 15 minutes walk to Tenjin and HAKATA station. Easy to get around and just 150 meters from Kushida Shrine station and 10 minutes walk to Kushida Shrine. Lots of food choices around the area. Room is adequate and is decent size given that rooms in Japan are generally small. Will consider staying here again.

Great value for money, though it's a bit far from the subway station. However, taking a bus is actually quite convenient. Also, the South Asian convenience store clerk at the nearby Lawson has a really poor attitude; I've seen a lot of bad reviews for them on Google Maps. The room was quite spacious, not like the typical Toyoko Inn size, and the amenities were good, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom.

I had a wonderful stay at this capsule hotel. The capsules were spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were polite, helpful, and spoke enough English to make check-in easy. Shared facilities (showers, lockers, lounge) were clean and well-maintained. The location is convenient for trains, restaurants, and shops. Great value and a fun, uniquely Japanese experience .
