easyyongOur stay in Morino Sumika was wonderful. This hotel is probably one the best Hotel (Ryokan) We’ve ever stayed in Japan. We are so impressed with their service. The staffs are polite and responsive even though language barrier. We stayed in a room with open air bath type with balcony looking at the slope garden and hotel itself. The architecture is stunningly beautiful. Room are spacious and bigger than we had expected. The room layout is great. We are so amazed with the hotel facility and everything in the hotel that we want to spend much more time at the hotel rather than going out.
The hotel is about 5 km away from Kagaonsen Station in the area called Yamashiro Onsen. They offer shuttle service which we contact them via email. Yamashiro Onsen is very nice and calm.
FYI… Kagaonsen Station is 20 minutes travel from Kanazawa by Hokuriku Shinkansen… very convenience..

The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, making it a truly healing space. The open-air bath, while a bit obstructed in its view, allows you to enjoy the sound of the river while soaking. The sauna and cold plunge pool are also well-prepared, offering various bathing options. After your bath, you can enjoy a variety of teas and ice cream. Plus, the lounge offers unlimited simple snacks, wine, beer, and sake. It's the perfect spot for anyone who loves a drink! The rooms have also been recently renovated, making them spacious and clean. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The food is very good. You can choose different meals. I didn't get tired of it after two days. When I checked in, I was given a lot of coupons for the hot spring street, where I could get various ice creams and snacks. The hotel's public bath also has a Noten-buri bath. The private bath needs to be booked in advance and can be used for 1 hour. The Japanese-style room will help us lay out the tatami every day during dinner and restore it in the morning. It is next to the Tsurusen River, and you can make an appointment to pick up the airport in advance.

I stayed for one nights. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all very friendly and made for a very comfortable stay. They also gave me detailed information about recommended restaurants in the area. The large public bath was also very spacious, and from the open-air bath I could see the mountain stream through the trees. The sound of the water and the clear air were truly soothing. I expect the cold weather will continue in Yamanaka Onsen for the foreseeable future, so please take care of yourselves, and I hope all the staff members take good care of themselves.

KAI Kaga inherited hundreds of years of hot spring inns and used new modern models to attract tourists in the hope of driving crowds to the hot springs in nearby districts. However, it turns out that the surrounding area is very deserted. Except for KAI Kaga, which is fully booked on weekends, there are almost no crowds. The surrounding shops are either closed or on the way to closing, and the nearby shrines specially marked as tourist attractions are also deserted.
The hotel itself, the rooms, the hot springs, the facilities and the food are all average, but it is really not worth the price (it may also be that there are more people on weekends and the price is higher).
The high unit price will easily make people look at the small details through a magnifying glass, and they will find that many small areas need to be strengthened.
Another drawback is that there is no shuttle service from the station to the hotel (other lower-priced hotels nearby offer that).
If you don't happen to pass by and want to take a hot spring bath, it is not recommended to come here specifically.
In the end, I didn't give a bad review because the service staff were relatively young and had a good attitude. Xingye has its own set of training for its employees.

Beautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room.
For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.

Yiluyuan is right beside the famous Hexian Creek. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the hotel lobby face the scenic area, offering excellent views of the mountains and water. Free beer, plum wine and wine are available in the lobby and bathhouse lounge area. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style, and you will have to lean on the wall to eat. The facilities in the hot spring house are very complete, including a sauna room and an open-air bath beside the gurgling stream, which is very enjoyable.

HuangtianyiI was participating in the Kagaspa UTM race in Japan and booked this hotel. It's a ten-minute walk from the starting point and another ten minutes from Yamanakaza Street. It's a quiet escape from the bustle. The room faces a stream and mountains, with the green hills surrounding the stream and casting shadows, a truly beautiful sight. The hotel was also very clean. Dinner was a semi-buffet and quite standard. I withdrew from the 100km race this time, but I'm sure I'll finish it next year.

The customer service was excellent. We didn’t expect to get a really big room and it comes with breakfast and dinner buffet which to be honest was some of the best I’ve had in Japan. I can’t wait to go back. Cleanliness could definitely be improved though but nothing too crazy to be turned off with.
