"Located on Mt. Washu in Kojima, the views are absolutely stunning, offering panoramic sights of the Seto Inland Sea bridges. It's very close to Washuzan Highland Amusement Park, and they provide a shuttle service back to Kojima Station. The rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards, and there's also a hot spring bath (onsen) available. While it's a bit on the pricey side, the service is impeccable."
"Everything was good! I really will definitely go.
You can also tour the owner's shipyard!
They will pick you up right away at Kojima Station and drop you off.
All-you-can-drink welcome drinks are also available.
It's the best! It was so bad that I didn't want to go home!"
"The room is clean and comfortable, and the Seto Inner Bridge can be clearly seen outside the window, with beautiful scenery! The open-air outdoor hot spring on the top floor can also enjoy the scenery of the Seto Inner Sea Bridge while soaking. Although it is relatively windy, it is still a very unforgettable experience! Wake up the next morning in the room to watch the sunrise, super! Dinner is a buffet form, a wide variety of food, delicious, exquisite and beautiful! I will definitely stay in Okayama again next time!"
"Small chill hotel, 4min from the train station, free dinner in there evening.
Booked this place because I wanted to go see the nearby bridge view - the hotel had great last minute availability and a free dinner after a day of sightseeing was a welcome surprise!
I went to Kurashiki next morning and the direct bus leaves from a bus stop 2min away from the hotel - super convenient."
"This time I stayed with my foreign husband. The lobby was classy and the historic atmosphere inside the building was very nice. I was impressed that I could see the wide ocean from my Japanese-style room. It's a traditional hotel, so the building itself is old (we liked the atmosphere, on the contrary), but it was well-maintained and the tatami mats were clean. We had our meals in our room, and the variety of dishes served looked gorgeous, and my husband was so impressed by the sumptuous Japanese food that he took many photos. It was delicious! In the evening, I went to the lobby to see Washu Taiko perform. My husband was really excited about this and we really enjoyed watching it from beginning to end! When I was deciding on a hotel this time, I heard that there would be a performance by Washu Taiko, and I decided on it, and it was really impressive! The staff was very responsive and I was very satisfied with my stay! I think this is a very good hotel where even foreigners can feel the Japanese atmosphere! I definitely want to go again!"
"I used it on a solo trip.
The location was great and very relaxing!
It was full of flies and it was annoying, but other than that, it was the best and I want to visit again!"
"I always use it.
It is very helpful because there is a plan to stay in 3 people 1 room.
Also, breakfast is always used without being crowded, but it's a pity that there are no * types. The breakfast fee was 1400 yen for the day ticket, which has risen considerably ..."
"The nearest station is Tokiwa Station on the Mizushima Rinkai Railway. It's conveniently located, just a two-minute walk from the station.
The hotel overall was very clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast and dinner options were plentiful. They were delicious!!
The large public bath can fit six or seven people at a time. When I used it, there was no one there, so I was able to soak in the tub without any problems.
During the day, you can shop at the nearby supermarket. The nearest convenience store is a little far away.
There are many delicious restaurants, so you'll have no trouble finding something to eat."
GGuest UserIt is one of the best hotels in Kurashiki area with easy walking distance to the Kurashiki 美観地区. Stunning view, magnificent vibe, numerous shopping facilities…., etc., you name it.
Large scale parking facilities are available just across this hotel.
Highly recommend for everyone who is going to visit Kurashiki.
GGuest UserHotel was pleasant and front desk was friendly and helpful. However, car parking was confusing as there weren't directions to show where to park. Parking slots are also limited and we ended up having to park at another 24hr parking near the hotel.
Good onsen and night snacks provided.
GGuest UserJust a 3-4 minute walk from Kurashiki Station South Exit, this hotel has a lovely European resort style. For a Monday, a twin room at only 330 yen is incredible value for money! The room was quite spacious, and the large public bath in the basement was also very roomy, complete with free massage chairs. You can buy tickets for the Ohara Museum of Art at the front desk for 100 yen less than at the entrance. Plus, there's an affordable supermarket right across from the hotel that's open until 11 PM – perfect for grabbing groceries! I bought a bunch of late-night snacks and breakfast for the next day, all for less than 1500 yen.
CCHUN SHENGThe location is fantastic, offering easy access to both Kurashiki and Okayama. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient. Amenities are available for self-service pickup. The restaurant's food selection was decent. Plus, with free parking, it's incredibly convenient for those on a road trip!
LLostWithYanThe hotel was very conveniently located, just about a 5-minute walk from the historical quarter. The amenities bar in the lobby was well-stocked with all the essentials, which was a nice touch. However, the hotel does not offer luggage storage services. Instead, there are lockers available in the lobby, but they fill up quickly, so better arrive early if you’re planning on using them.
GGuest UserStayed in a single room but actually the bed is more a double bed I think, big enough for a couple. Room is crammed but I expected it so no issue. The blind was so powerful it blocked out almost all light, when I woke up I thought it was still very early in the morning but actually it was 9am already! No complaints, seems like a relatively newer hotel, very near train station and within walking distance to the bikan area and outlet mall, recommended!
YYACHOOIt is near the Kurasaki Bikan Historical Quarter, so it is good for exploring the Bikan Historical Quarter, but it is a bit far from Kurasaki Station, so it takes about 15 minutes on foot.
It is old, but well-maintained, and the breakfast is delicious, although it does not have many varieties.
It is a decent hotel for a one-day stay.
Jjhleite2The hotel is located very close to JR Kurashiki station and also to the Bikan Historical Quarter. There's no shortage of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room I chose was very tight but decent for the price. What I missed was storage room, and also a table or drawers for smaller personal belongings, since my bag and stuff like wallets and phones either had to stay over the bed or on the floor. The hotel could also use a retrofit since the paintings and carpets are showing some age. I did enjoy my stay there but only considering the price I paid and also the fact that I didn't spend much time inside my room. For solo travelers on a budget who are only looking for a bed to sleep at night, this hotel is good enough.
