"This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel, although the room is a bit small— it is fair enough for it's price and it was enough for a solo traveler. The hotel's location is very easy access to Namba. The staff's are very nice and accommodating! I recommend this hotel and would like to stay again."

"Host was very responsive to my questions and concerns of the property! There’s an elevator at this property and I was able to send my luggages over from Kyoto! The room space wasn’t very big for 3 adults! The restroom was very small and tight! Location was very quiet since it’s about a 12 minute walk to the Namba train station. One good thing is that we were very close to the OCAT bus station, where we took the limousine bus to the airport! Thank you Pin for being such a great host!"

"The room is clean and quite spacious compared with other same-class hotels. They also provide microwave in the front office, so that you can heat your meals, amenities also quite complete. The location is also excellent—it's within walking distance to the train station, making it easy to reach many restaurants and shopping areas."

"I had the most pleasant stay at Meander Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka! I was initially concerned about the size of the room, as I had heard that hotel rooms in Japan tend to be quite small. However, I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to comfortably open two suitcases at the same time in the room which was plenty of space for two people! The hotel’s location was very convenient, making it easy to get around the city. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. The highlight, though, was the amazing staff. They were so kind, helpful, and attentive to all our needs, making the stay even more enjoyable. A special shout-out to Julia, who I discovered is a fellow Carat – what a fun surprise! It’s those little moments that really made the stay special. I would absolutely stay at Meander again next time I'm in Osaka. Thanks for such a great experience!"

"The location is great, the value for money as well. It’s (too) small for 2 persons (I had a double room alone) and I had an issue with the bed. The mattress cover came loose which created a ‘slippery’ bed and the mattress itself was not sturdy enough for me. If you go for a cheap option: do it. If you want a little bit more luxury: look elsewhere. Just my 2 cents."

"Dear Hotel Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for two days and overall had a comfortable experience. However, I unfortunately lost a valuable item (a necklace) during my stay. I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter. On the evening of the 20th, I placed my necklace on the desk and did not wear it while touring on the 21st. Thinking my companion had packed it, I only realized it was missing after checking out, and I contacted the hotel immediately. When I called, the hotel simply stated that they checked and found nothing, without offering to contact me if it is found later. If the hotel finds the lost item later, please contact me via email. 호텔을 사용하며 불편함은 없었습니다만 2일 동안 호텔을 사용하며 귀중품(목걸이)를 분실했습니다. 호텔 측과 원활한 소통이 되지 않아 글을 남깁니다. 20일 저녁에 책상에 목걸이를 올려두었고 착용하지 않고 21일에 관광지를 돌아다녔습니다. 일행이 목걸이를 챙겼다고 생각하여 체크아웃 이후 챙기지 않은 사실을 알게되어 바로 호텔에 연락했습니다. 호텔 측에서는 확인해본다고 하고 확인해본 결과 없다는 답변 뿐 찾게 되면 따로 연락 준다는 이야기는 받지 못했습니다. 만약 호텔측에서 분실물을 습득하면 제 이메일로 연락주시길 바랍니다. 감사합니다."

"Location was impeccable, just diagonally opposite Namba and the Nankai line that leads to Kansai airport. Lotsa food in the vicinity of the hotel. The room looked new, were clean, quiet and relatively spacious for up to 2 people. By relatively spacious, I could leave open a suitcase on the couch at the foot of the bed without having too much issues moving about. The toilet was the standard Japanese style inbuilt capsule with the auto-washing WCs and nice-smelling shower gel, shampoo n conditioner. Other amenities, like toothbrush, lotion, shaver, cotton buds, etc. can be self-picked at the lobby for free. For the rate I paid, it’s definitely great value! Highly recommended for couples seeking a short stay."

"I specifically chose this hotel for the ARASHI concert in Osaka. The location is truly excellent. Osaka OCAT is right below the hotel, offering buses to Osaka's two major airports, Tottori, Tokushima, Takamatsu, and more. It's about a 50-minute ride to Kansai Airport. The hotel's basement has JR, Osaka Metro, and Hanshin lines. It's a 10-minute walk to Namba Takashimaya Department Store and the surrounding shopping streets, and a 15-minute walk to Shinsaibashi Daimaru Department Store. There are many restaurants in the hotel's underground mall, and a supermarket on the first floor of the adjacent building where you can shop and get tax refunds. The hotel lobby and restaurant have a Western classical decor, and there's even a small chapel. I saw a wedding taking place there on the day I checked in. However, the room decor is a bit old and simple; the single room size isn't small for a Japanese hotel. The hotel lobby is on the 22nd floor, and guest rooms are from the 24th to 31st floors. Each floor entrance requires a room card to access the corridor, which is a good security feature. My room was on the 29th floor, with an average view – facing another guest room. On a side note, the sheer curtains in the room are very transparent. If you have the lights on at night with only the sheer curtains drawn, people in the opposite rooms can see inside, as I unintentionally experienced myself 😅. The hotel breakfast offers a rich variety and excellent quality, including Japanese and Western dishes, desserts, ice cream, and fruits, even watermelon and cherries. The breakfast restaurant on the 23rd floor has an excellent view; the last two photos are taken from there. My only dissatisfaction during this stay was the hotel's service. Most guests at the hotel were Caucasian, with some Koreans and people from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. It was noticeable how enthusiastic the hotel staff were towards Caucasian guests, and how indifferent they were towards Chinese guests. I wouldn't call it discrimination, but more of a perfunctory, by-the-book service. On the first day at breakfast, after scanning my room card, I was told my booking didn't include breakfast. I informed the staff that my reservation did include it; after a phone confirmation with the front desk, it was indeed included. To my surprise, the same issue occurred again on the second day. I'm unsure if the breakfast information wasn't entered into the system during check-in or what caused this recurring problem. Why wasn't the dining information updated after the first day's incident? Crucially, throughout both interactions, I didn't sense any apology from the hotel staff. However, the housekeeping staff were quite enthusiastic; they would actively greet me in the hallway and step aside to let me pass first."

"Fantastic location! Just cross the traffic light and you are right in the heart of Shinsaibashi. Whoever loves Lululemon it is just right opposite the hotel. The room come with washing machine which is great for families. The only thing not good is that the hotel lighting is insufficient. It’s a little bit dim. Definitely will stay again because of its location."

"This is my 2nd stay here. Love the cleanliness, the osen which offers multiple pools, the systematic luggage storage/collection process. The best part is the airport limo bus stops right behind the hotel on 2nd floor of the OCAT Building. You don't even need to cross any roads or take any stairs since escalator is available. Simple use the massive underpass walkway to connect to Namba shopping malls like Takashimaya and the famous Shinsaibashi shopping street at exit 10/12. Pls bring luggage w top/front opening as there is limited space. Do not bring 50/50 split luggage. Apart of this, everything else is super great! Oh yah, there are multiple charging sockets from 3-pin, japanese 2 pin, USB. More than enough for usage."
